  1. I thought he meant false alarm about spotting that special plant that Carol said only existed in New Zealand, which is why he supposedly had to pull over that second in order to investigate, not that he didn't have to pee after all.

The only thing fishy about Lewis (or is it Louis?) IMO is how he can tolerate all of the antics.  He's acclimated way too quickly.  LOL

Yes, Carol, you can be annoying!  Surprise, surprise (it's not just Tandy).

Isn't there a ceiling hatch in the elevator?  I thought Gail finally saw it when she looked up, but nope.

When has that been? The writers have been borrowing page for page since the beginning.

Not in my opinion.  The first few seasons they used the comic as more of a framework with bits and pieces lifted or modified.  I remember a lot more complaints about the show not following along so closely back then.  Since Gimple, it seems to be trying for more of a faithful retelling of the comic while still injecting original content.

  3. No defense.  I liked TWD better when it only borrowed loosely from the comics, not almost page-per-page from the comics.  Ugh.  First time ever I haven't watched a new episode, let alone a whole season's (so far) worth.  Maybe the spoilers will get better for the second half (ha).  Thanks for curing my curiosity, though.

  4. Wow, everybody seemed to love this episode.  It was okay.  I do think maybe it was shown out of order.  They did that a few times last year (or didn't bother to tweak the scripts to make them fit).  Phil getting shocked again and Jay being so cigar happy would've led in nicely to the Thanksgiving episode.  Still, not as bad as last year IMO if it was out of order.

I'm just tired of the family scheming episodes (especially WRT Cam and Gloria).

i will agree Joe was used nicely.  That's enough of him.

And EWWWWWWW to Grandpa Jay letting his grandson get used as a sex object.  (EW to that whole storyline.  LOL)

*sigh* We're still with Rainer and Haley?  I would've rathered more episodes of Haley and her (ex-) boss, but let's pursue her love life.  Nothing squicky about that plotline either.  (That girl looked older than Haley.)

  5. Hallmark is taking a break from running Frasier (and Golden Girls, I think) until after the holiday season.  I think it's scheduled to come back January 2nd.  (I wish Cozi had better quality transmissions, but I'm glad there is still a Frasier option on TV now--and at an earlier time.)

  6. I was hoping Penny might find out she has a little bit of a following and maybe get interested in the possibility of acting again.  Instead it was all about Leonard with a side of guys making not so flattering comments about Penny.  Could we please move on from the ooh, Leonard married a hot chick! crap already?!

I liked the brunch for the most part.  Did Sheldon bake or just warm things up in the oven?  If the former, he's a keeper, Amy.  ;)

  7. Speaking of making friends as an adult, what ever happened to Phil's neighbor friend (other than Kevin Hart being a bit busy right now)?

Sorry, Nathan Fillion is just too old for Haley IMO, but Phil (and Claire) is OK with it.  Sure.  At least Phil doesn't want to hear about the hot tub...

  8. They did offer her the den couch (and even their bed?), but she wound up on the white couch during the night.  Den has been featured since the beginning IIRC.

So much for that one episode where Manny was popular and Luke wasn't.

Haley beat Alex to the joke.  Ha!

  9. They seem to be regressing Haley.  She was maturing, but now she's back into partying, lost her job, and I bet she'll be dating around again now that she's supposedly over Andy.  Watch out, Dylan!

I liked Andy, especially with Phil.  (But then, everybody is better with Phil.  ;) )
