Kudos to DZ for Dante's feelings of betrayal in the scenes with Brook Lynn and then Chase, too. While Tracy means well, Dante is entitled to all his feelings toward Brook Lynn.
It was interesting to see Lois not once admit that what she did was wrong. The arrogance of Lois to declare to Olivia that Gio grew up with "the best people in the world" and to defend her choices to Ned. He was totally right that she reinforced Brook Lynn's feelings of shame by agreeing not to tell him and getting Brook Lynn out of town "before she started to show." I really wish he had pointed out why are you living with us now for free and why did you bring Gio, if we couldn't be trusted. Hopefully he'll kick her out and say it.
NuEmma had few lines yet she's used as Robin's daughter to prop Sonny for "helping people." Ughhh.
The look on Willow's and Drew's faces when Mac presented them with the paperwork showing Michael has custody now until the hearing ... priceless. Nina has figured out who Sasha's baby daddy is, but is that really ammunition for the hearing? There's a video of Willow and Drew having sex in the kids' playroom while she's married to Michael.
RS still not shedding a tear was very apparent after multiple confrontations but no runny makeup, and then Sonny talking to her softly.
The preview of Dante confronting Lulu looks interesting.
Lois apparently has convinced herself that everything she did with Gloria was to protect her daughter and grandson.

I don't think that was a lame excuse. I think that was what she really felt. IRL, I suspect that this kind of thing happened all the time when there was more of a stigma about being so young and pregnant.
Where Lois went wrong, I think, was in never letting Brook Lyn know what she did and why - making it more of an "open" adoption, so no one would be blindsided later in life.
Her reason was what you tell the children when you're giving the family pet's puppies or kittens away. Lois flat out told Lulu that she and her mother decided they just couldn't give up baby Gio, so the solution was to give him to cousin Camila instead and lie to Brook Lynn. In Brook Lynn's case, there was no stigma because a) according to Gio's age, he was born in 2003 and b) she was on tour with her mother as soon as she came home from camp. She was not being shunned by family or friends as she started to "show."
Lois forged the birth certificate with a fake birthdate, so I think she more or less just handed baby Gio to Camila to raise as her own instead of Camila actually legally adopting him.

AS certainly sold Brook Lynn's feelings of shock, pain, betrayal and rage with her mother. Lois being all "I knew I could tell you with certainty your baby went to a good home" was the lamest excuse ever.
The "if looks could kill" awards go to DZ for when Dante walked away from Lois to go with Brook Lynn to the Quartermaines, and WK at the end when Lois and Ned's eyes met.
JE and GM were awesome in their range of emotions as Tracy did her best to embrace Gio as family.
Did the Show already forget that Kai was just released from the hospital after major surgery? In that sex scene there was no hint of pain or recovery. There lines were so vomit worthy I had to turn it off.
I just can't with Lulu. At least Cody tried to give her a reality check.
Uggghhh, is the Show really going with Sasha falling in love (again) with Michael and falling for Jason too?
I rolled my eyes at Willow and Drew breathlessly telling Mac about a "kidnapping" and naming Jason.

I think that Lois ran off after him, and then Brook Lynn left too. Olivia and Ned seemed too stunned.
It's Lulu's half-assed investigative skills that make it look like it's about a vendetta for her rather than righting a wrong.
Yes and yes.
What really stood out to me about Lois in the confrontation with NuLulu was when she screamed "Who are you to decide?!?" as Gio had his hand on the door knob and was pushing the door to open it. He heard his beloved Aunt Lois defending her actions and sadly, Rocco's mother, a woman he hardly knows, telling the truth rather than the women who are supposed to love him so dearly.
Lois was not considering telling anyone the truth, despite everything she had witnessed and heard from Gio, Brook Lynn and Dante who all have trusted her completely since well before they ever knew Lulu's name. She was determined to protect herself and her mother's lies above all else indefinitely. That's being self-serving and cruel.

Not one single story about people who live with HIV or suffer from AIDS.
I expected/assumed Lucky would sing a beautiful song and have a brief speech/presentation about people living with HIV and AIDS in Africa since his storyline for returning to the Show was that he provided security for medical personnel who were caring for critical needs in dangerous areas of Africa. He and Isaiah could have shared dialogue, with Isaiah talking about what he witnessed from an HIV/AIDS patient or several, when he was a doctor there.
I'm really disappointed. This is as glaring an omission as when Bobbie was completely left out of the Lucky/Elizabeth part of the Jake died and organ donation storyline involving Josslyn.

The saddest part of today and the reveal was Dante's line about the little boy with sparklers being his boy.
It just shows how the real evil vile one in this story is Lois. Letting Dante and Blq grow up with their son while not knowing anything. It's just appalling, how does she even live with herself much less in the Quartermaine house while all 3 of them shared a roof.
Yes Ned, you should have known your minor child had a baby. Take your anger out on your lying ex.
I agree re: Dante's reaction and Lois.
I didn't get the impression that Ned is angry with Brook Lynn or Chase. He was venting to Chase as he felt hurt and sad that Brook Lynn didn't tell him anything. I thought with the one line, WK did a good job of showing that Ned's anger toward Lois is boiling just under the surface.

To play devil's advocate, had Dante chosen BL and they were in a relationship she acknowledged yes, she would have told him. But when he chose Lulu, did she have a right to tell him? Would Lulu have seen it as her trying to use some leverage to sway Dante? No easy answers.
I *think* you're asking if Brook Lynn had a right to tell him. No, I think she had an obligation to tell him regardless of whether he was in love with Lulu or not in love with anyone but not interested in Brook Lynn regardless. Dante and Brook Lynn were supposed to be friends since childhood, first and foremost. The way I see it, Brook Lynn's attitude was, well since he's not interested in me now, he doesn't get to know we have a child together. That's about ego. It reminds me of how Elizabeth's sister Hayden treated Finn after she left him and thus broke off the engagement. She lied in a letter that she lost the baby, but actually did give birth to and raise Violet. She decided after a while she wanted to see him and let him know they had a daughter, hoping to get back together, but upon finding out he had the audacity to move on with Anna, Hayden decided not to tell him about Violet. She only told the truth when forced to, because Violet was ill and Finn was an infectious disease doctor.
I'm sure Lulu would have seen it as her trying to use leverage if he was unsure of whether he wanted to be with Lulu or Brook Lynn and Brook Lynn let him know about their child. She would probably be right. AH's Lulu brought it up to Brook Lynn this spring.

As for BLQ not doing much actual wrong? What?! She has lied to Dante for 20 years! To his face. Keeping the knowledge of a child from him despite knowing the kind of man he is. Called herself his friend despite lying to him for 20 years. Despite him forgiving her for drugging him and attempting to rape him.

I just want a clear picture of the solution here. Would Dante have been expected to marry BL and they'd raise the baby together, being "the kind of man he is"?
I get the impression that driver is taking issue not with teenage Brook Lynn's actions, but rather adult Brook Lynn's choices. Brook Lynn (as played by AS, two months ago) told Chase that when her younger self tried to break up Dante and Lulu, she considered telling Dante they had a baby together and she gave the baby up for adoption if he chose her by cheating on Lulu. She (then played by AL) withheld that information when she realized he was in love with Lulu. So, she kept silent and moved on with her life. Years later, her dad married Dante's mom, so they became stepsiblings. As of November 2024, they were living in the same house. They've had a few significant conversations during that time and Dante even complimented her on being a really good friend. Yet all along, she's been lying to his face.
IMO Dante deserves to feel betrayed.

She's so concerned that Dante didn't know that after she got the proof and everything she didn't take Dante aside and go "look I found this out, I wanted to make sure, I'm sure, here's the info, Go with God."No. She made it drama. this wasn't all about Dante. sorry.
She didn't get a chance. Cody got to talk to Lulu for a minute or two (right after the confrontation with Lois), Dante interrupted, and as they were talking to him Lucy came along and grabbed the guys to usher them off to change into their suits for their performance. Immediately after the guys got off stage and changed, the audience was told to get in their seats and Gio, Chase and Anna returned to the stage. Dante was not about to miss seeing his best friend performing unless there was a family emergency, and Brook Lynn refused to talk to her mother unless it was about "Granny" because Chase and Gio were performing.
The time between Lulu confronting Lois and Gio's on-stage meltdown was short.

Yup. Preview for the next show has Brook Lynn sobbing and furious, confronting her mother about what she did. I'm a little confused about the preview of Emma telling Gio she's going with him. Um, honey, of course you're not staying there - you don't live with Quartermaines.
I'm disappointed there was no confrontation between Gio and anyone or Dante and anyone today. I guess AS got an episode off from playing Brook Lynn?
I will say the smug look on Drew's face being replaced by utter shock when NuMichael walked in, picked up Wiley in front of everyone and then walked out was very satisfying. Same for Willow.
I liked Ned's line to Chase about Lois, regarding Brook Lynn.
I'm also shocked that we finally got to see Scout after however many months it's been. I thought the little actresses playing Donna and Scout did well together on stage with the tween Georgie actress and the two boys.
I LOVED the NuLucas and Elizabeth watch party on her couch. I adore their friendship!

All the kudos for this! My uncle found out at 70 years old from a DNA test that his Dad was not his biological father. It really messed with his head and his parents were deceased at that point so he couldn't ask any questions. He thinks his Dad found out or figured it out and so did others because of a few memories/experiences from childhood.

I hope Lulu is happy with herself. She never once stopped to think about Gio. Lois was wrong to keep Gio around w/o telling BL, but she wasn’t wrong about Lulu’s actions blowing up several lives. Gio didn’t deserve to learn the truth this way. Neither did poor BL and Dante, but Lulu just couldn’t leave it alone. There’s a lot of anger and blame to go around, but Lulu better get her share! I’ve been waiting to see this blow up in her face!
I agree that Lulu didn't stop to think about Gio and Gio didn't deserve to learn the truth that way. I think what this episode proved was that Lois was never going to tell her daughter, Dante or Gio the truth unless forced to by a third party.
I expect rage directed at Lulu from Brook Lynn, Lois, Chase and possibly Tracy, but I'll be surprised if Dante has any significant lasting anger toward her because she hasn't been lying to his face for 22 years as others he trusts have. He knows there is *something* about Brook Lynn that Lulu thought he should know and has witnessed the increasing hostility between the two of them.

Lois, and even to be angry with her. No granting grace for anything, nor having empathy for having to make a difficult decision in a difficult time.
Dante, the man Lulu loves, and Rocco, their son, have no idea they have a(nother) son and half brother because of Brook Lynn, Lois and Gloria. Lois showed zero remorse for lying for so many years to Dante when he has always trusted her, so I get why Lulu is angry. Lulu was telling the truth when she said Lois "hid Gio in plain sight." Lois and Gloria made the decision that suited them - not what Brook Lynn asked of her mother and trusted her to do. Lois found a way not to make the difficult decision to give her grandson up.

I hate that the Show used Ned to prop Sonny, his cousin's murderer, for "generosity" about funding Gio's music education. Yeah, yeah, yeah, irony that they both don't know they are his grandfathers.
I did, however, love Ned confronting Drew about Tracy. Willow's going to look stupid for her righteous attitude toward Ned and Olivia.
The eyes wide with shock look was well done by Gio, hearing Lulu and "Aunt Lois" fighting. Great internal devastation in the scene with nuEmma before going off to perform with Anna and Chase. Him screaming on stage that Brook Lynn and Dante "didn't want me and gave me away" and smashing his violin, I did not see coming.
The betrayed, heartbroken look Dante gave Brook Lynn was very well done by DZ. Great reaction look by WK, too!
Sonny also credited the Nurses Ball to Robin and Stone, today.
I did like from the preview that Sonny knows from Lois's panicked line to him and then Gio's meltdown, that his good friend has been lying to him for decades. Lois deserves everything that's coming to her, esp. after admitting to Lulu that she and her mother just couldn't give Gio up but Brook Lynn can't ever know.

Dante looked like such an ass, standing there in the Q mansion, where he is freeloading, gazing on the fart in the elevator he invited over. And then took her to ride in the car with Brook Lynn and Chase, neither of whom can stand her.
Dante is a police officer who moved into the Q mansion because he was the only reliable parent that Monica's grandchildren, Danny and Scout, had after their mother died. Dante's mother/Rocco's grandmother and Danny and Scout's grandmother both live there.
Lois is the freeloader. She showed up at the Quartermaine mansion uninvited when Brook Lynn wasn't even living there and wasn't engaged to Chase yet. That reminds me, why are they still living there. It was almost a year ago that they decided to move in "for the summer" while they had custody of Violet. Once Violet returned to Finn, they intended to move back to Chase's apartment and move on with their lives. They could have left at any time if lying to and being around Dante and Rocco every day is so horrible.
The opening "Nurse's Ball" number featured four recognizable GH staff members and a lot of extras. Isaiah Gannon was the only one of four I found entertaining although nurse Amy has a pretty voice.
The Show devoted significant screen time to Gio dramatically playing violin alone on stage. Olivia being emotional was a bit much since she doesn't know the truth yet. You'd think Gio playing at the Nurse's Ball was the most fabulous thing Lois and Olivia had ever seen in their entire lives. Hey Brook Lynn, Dante is not required to change his mind and gush with compliments because others think he is just sooo amazing.
Second hand embarrassment for Spinelli in a sparkly cowboy hat, singing, as a replacement for Tracy with Felicia, Anna and Lucy.
Willow is still wearing her rings from Michael as she tells Josslyn her children belong with her and she's moving on with Drew. Girrlll, so pathetic.
I liked NLG's look when Kristina suggested to Alexis that they could get help for the attempted murder/blackmail mess from "my dad." Of course Kristina has to have the reality spelled out to her from her attorney mother.
I really thought Lois would have a hot mic as Lulu confronted her.

I do remember Lulu going after BLQ first basically being all friends with Maxie and BLQ saying a lot of crap happened in the 4 years you were gone . I don't remember BLQ being a Cow to Lulu at all until all this stuff started.what lies is BLQ spreading to Maxie and Tracy? because I remember Tracy talking to Lulu and it's not like Lulu went that's a lie.
She snarked at ER's Lulu prior to the coma, for not tearing up the divorce papers Dante sent as well as dating Dustin. In NuLulu and Brook Lynn's first scene together, when she brought up how Brook Lynn tried to break up her and Dante, Brook Lynn's reaction was to snap at her that it was in the past and to let it go because everyone has moved on. Then she gave NuLulu the evil eye for coming to visit Tracy in the Quartermaine mansion at Christmas.
BLQ told Tracy that Lulu found out her secret and has been holding it over her head, which is not accurate. She told Maxie, circumstances have changed so you have to choose me or Lulu. You can't be friends with both of us anymore.
As for today: Josslyn using Nina's microphone on the red carpet to call Drew a piece of trash to his face with a bunch of people in the area was the most interesting thing she's done in a while. Dante agreeing with Nina about Lulu looking beautiful and beaming at her was a nice moment esp. after the mention of Rocco and Charlotte.
Kristina being a bitch to Alexis deserves a slap (and I don't like violence).
Drew deserves to be taken down by the Quartermaines (get him, Ned) for framing Tracy for Nina and Portia's actions. It sucks for Chase that he had to miss escorting Brook Lynn and Mac is missing an event that is so important to his niece because Drew wanted Tracy arrested/publicly embarrassed.
There aren't enough eyerolls and vomit emojis in the world for Willow and Drew on the red carpet and Nina gushing about her directly to the camera.
It's a sad day when the only people IMO who are cute and light together on the red carpet are Cody and Molly.

Lulu's whole reasoning about how BLQ was in to break up her and Dante so that she could tell Dante about their kid is like building castles on quicksand. And she sounds unhinged.
There's some truth to Lulu's reasoning. Brook Lynn and Chase had a conversation in March (this year) where she explained she wanted Carly's money (I guess it seemed easier than professional employment for a company or two), but she also wanted to see if Dante still had feelings for her. She told Chase she was considering telling Dante about the baby if he acted on feelings for her/cheated on Lulu with her. However, the Show's audience saw how Lulu walked in on Brook Lynn trying to rape a drugged Dante and told her to get out. Brook Lynn never told him.
Brook Lynn hasn't, and most likely won't, admit to Chase specifically that she drugged Dante and tried to rape him, unless forced by someone who saw it (Lulu). She doesn't want to damage her marriage, her current friendship with Dante and also doesn't want Dante and Chase's friendship damaged. These are all possibilities the more Brook Lynn and Dante's history gets attention. So whenever NuLulu mentions Brook Lynn's past, Brook Lynn snaps back.

You know Carly gets into cat fights, e.g. Robin, Sam.
She verbally clawed Nina's face about both herself and Willow as mothers asserting that she knows what it really means to be a mother (as if she doesn't have a severely injured child and a dead child because of her own choices), then got hit for it. She hit Nina hard back, and it turned into a brawl that ended with Josslyn running in, pulling back and restraining Nina.

I'm surprised we didn't see Tracy get a thoughtful look when in front of her, they were discussing Olivia sending Dante to camp because of behavior. Brook Lynn told Tracy in very recent history that Lulu said in their confrontation that the baby's father "has a right to know."

NuNuLooLoo and Con artist Cody can take SEVERAL seats and STFU.
"You're not a mother and you never will be" and saying if Willow had been raised by her, she'd be an even worse mother than she is now and she (Willow) doesn't deserve to be a mother is about as hateful a statement as what Carly said to Robin. I understand why Nina hit her; Carly turned it into a brawl.
I did like how Nina shot down Carly's "a mother makes sacrifices for her children" crap. Where's a lightning bolt when you need one.
Brook Lynn, the Quartermaine mansion is not Gio's "own home." Your freeloading mother never left and then asked Monica if she could move Gio in there. I don't feel sorry for Brook Lynn for that obvious arrow to the heart about children from Dante, since he would know better than to say it if she had ever told him the truth. After today's show, I am actively rooting for NuLulu to totally upend Lois's life. Enough with the Bensonhurst crew propping Gio and the anvils about Dante and Gio.
Dante was spot on about Jason as a parent re: Danny. I chuckled at Sasha looking like she wanted to pout about what he said and then having a freak out to Jason about Ric tapping her to testify on the Michael (Carly)/ Willow custody date.
Drew smirking to Curtis about what would 'likely' happen to him, Portia, and their daughter if they don't comply and the truth comes out, was gross.
I laughed that Sonny looked offended about Carly being called a psycho bitch. I will be surprised if the writers don't put them back together down the line. Sonny and Carly truly deserve each other.

So is Sonny now Michael's "So Called Father'?
Isaiah being so sympathetic to Willow makes me think that he's not a smart as I though he was.
I think that was the implication when NuLulu and Carly were arguing about the history of Michael's paternity and the Brook Lynn pregnancy secret. Lulu yelled at Carly that "AJ had a right to know!" and Carly got angrier.
The only time I ever remember Lulu being involved in a talk about Sonny becoming Michael's father (illegally) was when Carly reamed JMB's Lulu for her love of Dante when Michael went to prison due to Carly, Jason and Sonny's cover up of how Claudia died. Tracy stepped in and told Carly she was responsible for the mess because she stole Michael from the Quartermaines and gave him to Sonny to adopt. Lulu said Tracy, you don't need to fight my battles - but she didn't disagree that Michael was taken away from AJ and family and handed over to Sonny.
I assumed Isaiah being sympathetic to Willow was to make him a potential love interest for her whenever the Willow/Drew relationship inevitably blows up.

Lulu and Dante weren't together until much later. Brooklyn's decision not to tell Dante about being pregnant had nothing to do with being angry that he chose Lulu over her. This happened when Brooklyn, Dante and Cody were teenagers. Dante and Lulu didn't meet until many years later, like 8-10 years later, and in those years, Brooklyn hadn't told a soul, except her mother and Cody (right? They're saying now that he knew?) and if Cody knew, he's just as guilty for never telling his best friend, Dante.
The BrookLynn/Lulu rivalry went down much later, and Lulu doesn't seem to have a problem with her cousin coming up with the pay out scheme and hiring BrookLynn to do the seducing.
You're correct that Lulu and Dante weren't together until much later. However, Chase and Brook Lynn had a conversation in March (this year, 2025) where she told him everything about her past with Dante. The "seduction" storyline came up. She told Chase that yes, she was thinking about telling Dante about the baby IF he showed her that he still had lingering feelings for her. When that didn't happen because he was truly in love with Lulu, she decided to keep her mouth shut.
Regarding Cody, he knew Brook Lynn was pregnant because she told him when he drove her to the bus stop. This week, he told Lulu that he assumed she terminated the pregnancy after she left camp.
JMB's Lulu and Carly had a conversation where Carly acknowledged what she did and flat out said Lulu chose loyalty to her boyfriend Dante over loyalty to family, her/Michael. Lulu said something like, in the twisted way Carly thinks I get it. Carly may have sort of apologized; I can't recall the specifics.
Brook Lynn apologized to Dante at some point, but never to Lulu for when Lulu walked in on Brook Lynn trying to rape a drugged Dante. (Drugging and attempted rape of Dante was Brook Lynn's idea, because she was determined to get money from Carly.) In AS and AH's first scene together, Lulu brought up Brook Lynn trying to break up her and Dante and Brook Lynn's response was to snap that it's long ago history and she's moved on with her life.

Episode Discussion II: The TFGH
in General Hospital
I didn't hear it as self-absorption; more like Dante saying, hey I have some understanding of how you're feeling because I had no idea I even had another son like you had no idea you had living parents. Please let's talk.
They both just found out that three people (four if you count the late Camila) they've known and trusted their entire lives lied to them and never let them know of their true relationship despite many, many opportunities to tell the truth and knowing that Gio became an orphan when Camila died.
Dante and Gio have both correctly interpreted Brook Lynn and Lois/Gloria's handling of the pregnancy and birth as shrouded in shame and desire for cover up as if Brook Lynn gave birth in 1963 instead of 2003. Dante and Gio both thought they were loved and valued by the Cerullos; this revelation blows that perception to hell. Even today, Brook Lynn's attitude toward Dante is well I'm sorry but not really because I made the best choice I could, you weren't ready to be a father were you and we weren't in a committed relationship.
So while Gio is certainly feeling more devastated, Dante feeling devastated is also understandable.
