A new DCC show, this one capturing the season. I love it. We had heard rumors, but the DCC sure can keep a secret. Is it a one part documentary or a series? Anyone know?

Can't quote the relevant Group Leaders posts. My prediction:
1st Leaders: Chandi, Armani, Jada, Megan (the remaining GLs)
2nd Leaders: Sophy, KayDianna, Tori, Kelee,
I wondered why Tori wasn't selected as 2GL last year, as she is a very sound but maybe she was too busy with thecompany with her sister. Not sure if that'll change this coming year, but I can see her filling in the vacuum.Remaining 3rd years:
- Lea is technically a very eye-catching dancer -- I could not take my eye off her during her Rookie season on DCC: MTT when they did that dance and she was paired with Gina. However, I don't think Kelly would think she's quite ready.
- Madeline - I think she's not powerful enough to be a 2GL.
- Kleine - She's charming and photogenic as heck but I don't see her leading a group
- Ashlinn - she seems to have improved but I'm not sure she has the leadership skills.
I get confused between Amanda & Marissa and Taylor & Kennedy mixed up when they're featured in DCC photos/videos. I wish we had the show still on so we could get the 2nd years and rookies better.
Regarding the retired 11 veterans -- This is such a talent group of ladies! I'll miss seeing them perform and their appearances.
I'm surprised Claire isn't staying for a 5th year. I'm not so surprised about Dani and I imagine Elli's job is becoming demanding against her practice schedule. I'm impressed Zhenya and McKenzie (last year) were able to plan a wedding around their practice/dance/performance schedules.
All the best to the future brides & their marriages.I agree that Lea catches your eye. No matter who she dances beside, she always stands out. Very precise and sexy with each move.

I wonder if the DCCs pay out of their own pockets for cleaning. I would want to have that professionally done every time, but that's just me.

sorry if this is bolder as I can’t get the bold key seems to be stuck! I wonder if the pants are actually clean but she is throwing them in the wash with jeans and they have kind of got that blue fading from the genes on them as it is odd that the whole pants would be dirty and that’s what he would get from I think commingling whites and jeans!
To me, it's crazy that DCCs are responsible for cleaning their own uniforms. The Cowboys are worth $9 Billion (with a b). Why do the cheerleaders clean their own unis? I'm surprised a disaster hasn't already occurred. In the photo in question, that looks like maybe a coffee stain around the hem?

For me, I used to be able to identify scenes and seasons by original songs also 😆. Can’t do that anymore. Example: I will always hear “Chandelier“ when Phil walked the girls out onto the field Season 12 Ep 2

Awwww. RIP Phil.

I was surprised she didn't have on a pair of the boots. I also wonder if Lisa, the one who makes the uniforms, did Dolly's?
The boots may have been more comfortable. In those heels, she was holding on to that star for dear life. LOL.

Phil was so awesome. He became a part of the DCC lore. Such a great personality. He unveiled the candidates for years before MTT, so it wasn't just for the show. And only 62? Wow, that's so sad. I can hear his voice pumping up the ladies as I write this. RIP Phil.

Netflix would probably have to change the name too. I imagine CMT owns the rights to "DCC Making The Team."

Supposedly, Netflix just won a $50 million bidding war to do a 10 part documentary on Jerry Jones. I wonder if the DCC are being filmed in relation to that. Hopefully, they'll get another series devoted solely to them. That's what I'm hoping for.

FYI - Jacie is Head Coach of Vikings Cheerleaders (and Daphne runs the dance team at Pepperdine).

I feel like they average about 45 girls in training camp.
There is a thread on Reddit that says they announced first group leaders- Kelcey, Chandi, Claire and McKenzie. No surprise there. No word yet on specific groups or 2nd leaders yet.
Yaaaay, Chandi! I love how she has matured from innocent rookie to sexy siren. Kinda reminds me of Jenna's evolution on the squad. I hope it ends better for Chandi, though.
Claire is shining like the star she is. McKenzie has really stepped up her game. And Kelcey is officially the head cheerleader.
Great group of leaders.

I am not sure y'all read Reddit as well, but it has pretty much been confirmed over there that some sort of filming is happening for training camp this year with The Cheer documentary producers.
Ooh, don’t tease me like this. I so hope this is true.

I'm guessing this is anywhere form 1989-1991. That's when they changed from the go-go boots to a different style boot for 3 years before finally going to the cowboy boots.
I love those big poms. Wish they would bring them back. And yeah, the choreography was pretty easy back then, less power required.

Last year was the 60th anniversary of the squad !!
OK, that makes sense, but they're having something tomorrow, some kind of reunion show. I saw an article, but I didn't see anything on the website.

Does anyone know about the reunion halftime tomorrow? Is this an annual event now or some kind of anniversary? It seems like they had one last year.

Did I miss the post where someone said she was let go? I just the one saying she no longer works for the DCC.
She probably got a better career opportunity. I'm not sure how much the DCC pay staff members or how much autonomy they have with people like Kelli and Charlotte in charge.

I didn't know DCC Zhenya was 30. That's young, but she looks even younger.

It's not DCC in Motion, but here's a cute short clip. I like the "go-go" boots.

The Process: Auditions, Training Camp and Squad
in Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making The Team
Don't know if this was posted already, but here is a popular young lady who MIGHT try out for DCC, Darah Haidet.

If true, I hope she goes on to have a fulfilling life. She took so much flack as a DCC, some of it unfair, IMO.
