When the texts between Monica and Angie The Greek were shown, it was a series of laughing emojis and heart emojis, I wish they had shown the conversations that she posted those reactions to but Monica is probably comfortable with just showing half the story.

I think what was shown was Angie sending reactions to Reality Von Tease's instagram stories...Angie was interacting with the account, not Monica specifically.  That's what it looked like to me.

I watched RHONY from season 1 through season 11. I absolutely loathed season 10 and season 11 and have never actively rewatched them beyond the odd rerun. I watched part of season 12 and then stopped, with no interest in season 13. Looking back, I stopped watching new seasons because most of the long-term HWs became over-the-top caricatures of themselves who were stuck in piles of their own toxic shit (and then there was Leah, who got there all on her own). And, at least as I recall, RHONY became pretty much all most of them had going on, in one way or another, and it felt like a TV show about miserable drunk people filming a TV show about their TV show. As much as I love RHONY seasons 1-9 and have loads of positive nostalgia for most of those cast members, I don't know if it would be possible to fit Luann, Sonja, or Ramona (or Dorinda) into a show that's not entirely about them and their oddball dynamics. In that way, maybe meta spin-offs, like Crappie Lake and the legacy whatever trip, are for the best. The reboot got me watching the RHONY franchise again, including those spin-offs. 🤷‍♀️

THANK YOU!  I have watched RHONY faithfully, every season, every episode, year after year.  I didn't realize it until I watched this new cast but I am so thankful to never have Ramona, LuAnn, Dorinda or Sonja on the show again.  I am so tired of them.   It's the same old shit, over and over and over....literally until one of them shit on the floor.  Bring on the white furniture that is NOT covered in spray tan!!

I like the new cast, I like that they are young and fresh.  Jenna, Sai & Erin are my favorite.  Brynn & Jessel are least favorite and Ubah seems cool & love that she is related to Chanel Ayan!

It's the new New York and I'm here for it.

Its not a sidewalk thought - its part of a living area, I have a driveway that is 125 feet long, and you can walk barefoot on it all day long and not have feet like Luann did - and my husband probably only power washes it once a month, if that.  I'm am by no means a clean freak or a Ramona, I just think that was gross YMMV and it see it does.  :)

I actually am kind of a clean freak, my house has harwood floors and ceramic tile throughout, so I am very sensitive to clean floors with no grit or grime (something that was an adjustment from my previous carpeted life...I am sweeping/swiffering often).  However, I would never walk around barefoot in an indoor/outdoor space (that's what seems gross to me) and expect my feet to be clean .  It seems like common sense to me and I would put on shoes.

I know Beth is an absolute ass-ache but it's startling how seemingly easy it is for Carole to completely not care about Beth.   Cold doesn't begin to describe it.

This does not surprise me at all, with the kind of loss that Carole has experienced, I think she keeps everyone (or tries) at arm's length as to not expose herself to the kind of pain that she's experienced. I think it's the source of her 'it's not that deep' attitude, she can't let it be that deep.  I think Carole guards herself and I understand why.

I see what you're saying and respectfully disagree.  They're paying big bucks to be there or someone is and in my opinion, the dang floors better be clean.  Having a clean house isn't easy.

I feel that's like asking a sidewalk to be spotless.  I don't think it's realistic.  The floors in the bedrooms?  Sure, but if the house is built around an indoor/outdoor courtyard area, those floors are not going to be spotless.  It's not a regular house/hotel.

What is up with Sonya’s nips in the limo and at the fur place. She is so messy.

WHOA WHOA WHOA Hold the phone Bethenny. Jill Z  introduced you to her friend group, give you a leg up, when you were allegedly down and out when you started housewives. When Bethany got independent of Jill Jill went crazy a little bit and here we have Bethany saying that she would go crazy if she had introduced Tinsley to her friend group and given her the leg up and they got distanced .  Um OK? Hypocrite.

Did I just see Bethenny say in her TH say that she did say Carol is operated and moved by others pulling strings laughing that she implied puppet by all definition? Then chastise Ramona for “doing interpretations” and taking that as puppet and Bethenny telling Ramona that it wingman not puppet . Um OK. Lost at sea, no parents, homeless, I didn’t say puppet. She is vile.

The saying goes “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”. Bethany is just going aligning with Sonja because of that line of reason. Bethenny is annoyed that Carol and Tinsley are tight so she and Sonja are going at them, it’s all power and using with Bethenny. She does not give two shits for Sonja.

Sonja is such a POS remember when it wasn’t ok for someone at the townhouse to accept a UPS package for Tinsley (hats) ? I always thought that was petty . I mean what’s the big deal? Now she’s going on about how they were close roomies etc.

Luann ya dumb drag queen no one is going there for your talent it’s pure camp and Ben sees $$$$$.

Adam can say no to anything he wants . He owes B no explanation . Maybe he could not afford to work for free.

Duffs townhouse,  STUNNING ! Gorge. Sonja that’s what a TH looks like !

I love seeing the poinsettias and Christmas decor because LUANNS ARREST is coming up! My bad.

Love Dorinda for telling off Tom ! It was dick respectful to party on the boat on their anniversary . Here comes Luann unraveling .....

Exactly!!  The irony of Bethenny saying that Carole doesn't have her own voice and only speaks in defense of other people while Bethenny is berating Tinsley on behalf of Sonja.  Pppfffppptt.

Regarding Adam, no one is obligated to work for free, but it also sounds like the added issue of turning down or losing paid work to work for B for free.  Not everyone is in a position to do that at any given time.

She isn't soaked in sweat, because she completed it in close to 7 hours. You can walk a 15-16 minute mile and finish in that time. I guess this bothers me, because real runners, and yes, I know many even in their 60's, run a marathon in less than 5 hours. Most serious marathoners say if you don't run it in 4:30 or less, it's not good enough. That's a 10 minute mile. So for those of us who really run races, it's upsetting to see someone come along an claim they ran a marathon when they really didn't. I don't care how horrible people think I am.

I know many "real runners", too.  Marathoners, Ultra Marathoners, those who are running a marathon on every continent, those who are running a marathon in every state, those who run a marathon a month, those who began running in their 60's and those who have been running since high school.  What they all have in common is that although they may be tough on themselves and their time and their performance, all of them are encouraging, celebratory and gracious to other runners, most especially those that aren't 'runners' per se but get out there and finish.  The real runners that I know, know how hard it is to keep going for 6 plus hours, and they celebrate that.....because they know that is an accomplishment!

I'm not saying there isn't some overlap (and probably was with Nicole too), but Adam just seems too lazy to engage a whole lot of deception.

Also, am I the only one who finds the idea of him wanting kids a bit mind-blowing? I cannot see him taking care of a child! I actually worry about those animals they have if Carole's not around.

They've had drinks before and it hasn't ended like this. Dorinda doesn't ALWAYS devolve into a nasty drunk. Sometimes she's just fun and silly. Generally, whens he gets aggressive, it's with people she has a history with. I think it's possible that Bethenny didn't realize the full extent of her problem UNTIL this night.

What, you didn't realize that Adam is on a quest to meet The Love Of His Life And The Mother Of His Children and that old, wrinkled, dried up old egg-less Carole cannot possibly provide him what he truly wants, His Family??

In committed relationships you don't do olympic medal gymnastics to redefine it as a non relationship relationship either and yes fuckships (if done maturely enough) can involve social appearances. They are the one's who never officially claimed a committed relationship.  I mean of course conclusions can be made but at the same time they created this messy set of circumstances and I sure ain't gonna romanticize what they have or had when they themselves couldn't even muster enough respect for it to claim it to be anything but "enjoying each other while it lasts".

I understand assuming a committed relationship over time and would have no problem putting this situation in that category IF it wasn't for all the adamant declarations that they WEREN'T really a couple all this time so I can only use what was presented to us about what THEY felt their relationship was about.

I don't believe that they never claimed a committed relationship, they claimed that they knew that their relationship would not be a lifelong relationship, given the age difference.  They never claimed they "weren't really a couple".

Watching now on DVR. Carole is too damn old to be this naive about relationships. Carole, of COURSE Adam was perfectly happy to stick around and have sex without strings as long as you let him. I have yet to meet a man who WOULDN'T do that. She was what they call a "placeholder" and now she's pissed that she's no longer needed now that Adam found someone he truly likes. Again, she's too old/experienced to be all shocked and hurt by this.

Breakups are hard, they are messy and feelings don't go away just because you are "old" or experienced.  I believe that Carole and Adam love each other and loved each other.  They have been together for years and are apparently still together in some form, as they just went on a trip together.

Carole herself said on the show a few seasons back that Adam eventually wants to have children.

I think they agreed to break up because Adam wants kids and while Adam is on his quest for the love of his life and mother of his children, Carole agreed to be a jump-off.  Its not any deeper than that....I see you Carole, you're not fooling anyone but yourself.

I don't know Adam personally, so I don't know where this idea of Adam's great desire to get married and have children comes from, but it seems to me like it's just an extension of the whole Carole Doesn't Have Children shaming.  There is a lot of taboo around being a childless by choice woman, I feel like there is this whole narrative around Adam and Carole that stems from the idea that a younger attractive man wouldn't want to be with an 'old, dried up barren woman'.

Or, maybe it's just that BEC. *shrugs*

I feel like all signs indicate that Adam is into Carole.  Even still.  It sounds like there has been some recent rekindling of the flame.  A quick check of Instagram indicates they are currently in Dubai together.  https://radaronline.com/exclusives/2018/04/rhony-carole-radziwill-adam-kenworthy-back-on/

"Perfectly good" boyfriends don't downgrade their girlfriend of three years to a jump-off. Also, if Carole is so fine with the situation with Luann, she'd be ignoring her, not dragging her out for tea.

Exactly. Carole has never apologized to any cast member on this show for anything. She will argue and deflect but she won't take accountability. She always has to be right.

Is Adam the one who "downgraded" Carole?  I don't think that's been established.  It sounds like it was pretty mutual agreement, along with the mutual "coffee" aftermath.  There has never been any indication that there is anything but love and respect between Carole and Adam.

And, Carole apologized to LuAnn at the beginning of the season when LuAnn pulled her poor pitiful me card and berated Carole for not texting.  We see how well the Countess moves on!  LOL!

Actually, that's not true, Carole apologized for not calling LuAnn when she heard they were getting divorced.  This was the first time LuAnn brought it up at the Halloween party, and how many times has LuAnn mentioned it to Carole since Carole apologized? Hmmmm.....

Carole takes it just fine, IMO, but she's not having any shit talking about Adam, and I don't blame her for that.  As far as we know, Adam has been a perfectly good boyfriend and person throughout this whole process, and he doesn't deserve shit talking by the bitter betty Countess.

Petty tit for tat bullshit. Ever since she joined the show, Carole has made snarky and at times nasty comments about Luann (her voice, the size of her head, etc -- things Luann can't change). This was before the Adam Comments. Luann has apologized several times for what she has said about Adam. Either Carole accepts the apologies and acts like a civil human being or she doesn't. If she's not going to, then she shouldn't be inviting Luann for tea to discuss their nonexistent relationship. What were her objectives with that meeting? To get Luann to apologize again, so she can not really accept the apology again? We get it: Carole hates Luann, always has, always will. It's just very disingenuous to me to call a meeting with someone she can't stand simply because Bethenny won't let her live inside her asshole anymore and she needs to get in some filming time. Even after calling a truce with Luann, she still snarked on Luann for no good reason later in the episode.

Yet, she keeps saying shit.  Perhaps that's why Carole doesn't accept the apologies.

Who would take relationship advice from Carole? She was/is dating a guy for three years and was just unceremoniously downgraded to a mid-morning jumpoff. What does she know?

The thing is, Carole never admits to wrongdoing. Ever. She will try to justify her responses (or lack thereof) but she won't apologize or say that she was wrong. It is well-known (and confirmed by her former BFF Bethenny) that Carole cannot stand Luann. She isn't in Lu's ear giving her updates about her "breakup" with her boytoy -- how was Luann really supposed to know the status? Meanwhile, she was going through a very public divorce. It's not the same thing but Carole will go to her grave saying that it is and that she deserved a text from Luann, simply because she doesn't want to admit that she was wrong.

The only reason Bethenny is cuddling up to Sonja this year is because she doesn't have Carole or Tinsley anymore. Same thing with Carole inexplicably reaching out to Luann and Ramona. They are looking for allies to film with since they don't like to spend as much time together as they used to. It's all very fake.

I believe that the break up with Adam and Carole was in the tabloids at the time, which was I think around the same time that LuAnn's divorce news broke.  If LuAnn and Carole weren't friendly enough for LuAnn to reach out to Carole about Adam, why is it expected that they are friendly enough for Carole to reach out to LuAnn about Tom?  Let's not pretend that LuAnn and Tom's relationship didn't have an expiration date.  Wasn't it LuAnn's friend who told Carole before the wedding that LuAnn would rather go through with the wedding and get divorced later than call off the wedding?  For LuAnn to act like this divorce is some great tragedy is pretty laughable IMO.

However, LuAnn will milk this "you didn't text me" shit until the day she dies....and LuAnn will never admit she was wrong about her behavior re: Carole and Adam.  Just like she couldn't admit that she's still calling Adam names.

Those tattoos bodysuits are back or was she wearing an original?

I mean, Dsquared is not exactly my style, but it is fashion and it is current.  It's hard to style a tattoo bodysuit, but I actually liked the outfit from the waist down.  I love a leather short!  I think it would have been better paired with a soft, chunky, oversized black sweater....maybe showing the tattoo sleeve underneath.  I just think if you are going to show the whole bodysuit, you need to commit....a bandeau top or a bralet (or nothing!), that top just didn't work IMO.  The atmosphere didn't help, that was a night in the city outfit, not a sitting on rattan chairs at Ramona's house in the Hamptons outfit.  I thought that dinner party was pretty awful, everyone was packed around that table sitting shoulder to shoulder, eating from a buffet with the lights fully ablaze.  Lame.

I actually liked Bethenny's outfit the best, followed by Tinsley.  It was definitely like the land of misfit toys with this night.

When they walked into that meal and someone made a comment about Bethenny’s fuzzy white jacket including the word PETA I was amazed that nobody spoke up to Sonja who came in wearing a real fur left over from her Grand Dame days. They were probably trying not to egg on the Monster.

When Carole was sitting at the bar with Tinsley (ordering Bloody Marys) she was still wearing the tattoo bodysuit. She had a sweater on so it only showed on her legs. I hope she wore underwear for wearing that two days in a row.

Carole was wearing what looked like Gucci patterned tights or socks, not the bodysuit.  Although, it looked like she did pack two bodysuits, at least.  However, she wasn't wearing either at the brunch.

It has been mentioned ad infinitum (oops, wrong franchise) and I am one who also thinks there is something quite off about Sonja.  I'm not a mental health professional but she needs some professional help.
