  1. I’m not sure why Jensen saying it was physical would mean that it’s related to the process of becoming the character rather than what the character has to do. So say the answer is Michael. The physical part isn’t Dean sucking in some archangel grace but the fighting he has to do as Michael, possibly fighting AU Michael.

We live in a crazy world where you have to sign disclaimers for not suing for defamation for something that doesn't even come close to touching defamation.  Because people would just try to tie up the courts with that.

Yep, so they can’t take a chance that the actor is a reasonable person who would laugh about it. It makes me wonder if they got Dean Cain to sign something due to the “compliments” in The French Mistake.

Jared has a kinda cameo The Disaster Artist. I watched on a plane flight yesterday, so I had a hard time hearing all of the dialog. Greg (Dave Franco) & his girlfriend watch the pilot of Gilmore Girls on TV: “I auditioned for that. I’m better looking than that guy, don’t you think?”

I watched a con recently where he talked about this. He said he had to sign something that stated he wouldn’t sue for defamation.

Are people seriously worried that dean is going to be annoyed with sam that he allowed luci to follow him to the camp after he brought sam back to life.

If Dean is annoyed it would be the most out of character reaction ever for Dean. I would think that one of the reasons Sam agreed with Lucifer’s terms is knowing how much Dean likely blames himself for Sam’s death. Seriously, Sam could have an aneurysm burst and Dean would find a way to blame himself.

  5. Rewatched. When they come across the first vamp in the tunnel, it appears that Dean only has a shotgun and no knife so maybe Sam said he’d do it to lessen the noise of the kill. Sure, Dean could have blown his head off, but that would have told every vamp that they were there.

During the attack, I believe they moved down away from where Cas and Gabe were moving the rocks. That’s likely why it took the angels a few seconds to get there.

Definately said Morehead, which is at least 100 miles from Dayton. They must not have stopped at all.

I don’t think the show said Moria. I was just responding to SueB calling it that since it did seem very similar to the Mines of Moria!

Truthfully, I had to google Mines of Moria to find out what it was, but then I questioned that maybe I heard it wrong and they had named it that because of the similarities. I’ll rewatch this weekend.

  7. Did they say Moria or Morehead? Morehead, KY is in the north eastern part of the state. The area is in the foothills of the Applalachian Mountains so it made sense to me. I just assumed the tunnel was near Morehead. I don’t know that you could get to Dayton on foot in 2 days though. Dayton is over 50 miles from Cincinnati and that’s almost a straight shot north and already in Ohio. I mean, they could have named them Moria, but I swore it was Morehead

I thought the tunnel was creepy as hell. I knew something was going to happen and was on the edge of my seat waiting for it.

I’m not sure why Sam is always supposed to defer to Dean and shouldn’t ever say anything. I know some here would be happy if Sam never said a word, always was in the background and basically was wallpaper, but that’s not going to happen on this show. Letting Sam say that they will head towards Dayton or go through the tunnel doesn’t mean that Dean is deferring if he would make the same decision.

The thing for me is why would Sam even care about Gabriel? Other than my theory that Sam is a masochist.

Aside from Sam being a masochist. I would much rather he be shown to be a manipulator. That all of this "bonding" and seeing himself in them is just a ploy. I'll have more of a kind of respect for Sam if he just flat out admits that he manipulates these entities to help him and Dean and they fall for it. I would actually prefer that over this notion that he cares about these assholes that have grievously harmed him and his family.

I'm actually okay with him wanting to kill Lucifer but I don't think it meshes with the kumbaya crap from s11. It doesn't even need to be framed as vengeance.  Gabriel getting vengeance on Loki and his minions is a lot different than taking out the Devil. So I'm not really seeing the correlation the show was trying to drawIt's frakking Lucifer. Kill him because he's the Devil and that's good enough for me LOL. And IMO Dean knows how Sam dies and he's trying to stop it.

I haven’t figured out how to only quote part on my phone so I’m sorry for qoting the whole thing rather than the first part that I’m responding to.

I was specifically talking about Mary and Jack. Several people have stated that they don’t care about them because they haven’t seen them in a while. I should have been more specific but I’m reading and responding between sessions at a conference, so I cut it short. By the time I finished reading everything, the next session was starting. Sorry about that.

  9. I guess I’m unusual in that generally those that Sam and/or Dean care about, I care about. The only exception I can think of is Amelia, and then I still cared about how it affected Sam.

Interesting that despite making the deal with Gabe, they didn’t expect him to keep his end of the bargain. Even more interesting that Gabe decided to stay.

  10. I have to laugh that I’m not being logical. I’m a C on the DISC assessment. A strong C. It literally states that I take a logical, objective approach to my work to ensure accuracy. Maybe it’s because I’m so logical and analytical in my daily life, I can easily suspend disbelief when viewing works of fiction. It’s one reason I read fictional works rather than bibliographies.

There were a lot of books in that room.

  11. My understanding was that they were possible deaths based on potential choices a person makes. That every choice Rowena could possibly make that leads to her permanent death, Sam is the one that kills her. Not that Sam kills her over and over.

  12. Fwiw, I don’t think that only Sam can kill her, it’s just that all of her choices lead to Sam killing her. That’s likely because Sam has taken responsibility for doing so if she goes bad. I’m sure Dean could, but unless Sam was physically unable, Sam is going to tell Dean that he will deal with it.

  13. Speculation, if part of the reason Michael went crazy in the cage was because he was locked in there with Lucifer, does that mean that the nearly 3 years he’s been in the cage by himself* has allowed him to heal somewhat? I can’t blame Michael there. I think I’d go a bit crazy if I was trapped with Lucifer too!

*I’m excluding Adam because I don’t believe he would be enough to drive anyone crazy.

  14. I don’t know if Metatron ever got hold of the angel tablet, but he was the one who transcribed it originally. He didn’t need to have it to know what was on it.

Dean told Rowena that every real, permanent death was caused by Sam. He used the word permanent. I don’t need to hear Jessica say permanent to believe she specified that to Sam and Dean.

Oh, that is awful. Like why is that even a jingle? The only one worse is that Kars-for-Kids jingle from radio. Aaaand now that's going to be in my head (I heard it again yesterday).

Yeah, I might be YouTubing for the Scooby Doo jingle soon to get both of those gone. Heh.

I have now successfully replaced it with Whitesnake's "Here I Go Again" which was on the radio earlier when I was out.

  16. Maybe, just maybe, Sam said "I" because his whole speech was to try to draw a parallel between himself and Gabriel with the whole not feeling like a part of his family and then realizing that his family needed him. So he said "I" because of that reason and not to slight Dean.

Well, I find myself still humming the Scooby-Doo theme all the time; it's on a loop in my head now and I can't get it to stop!! Funniest thing I've seen in ages, but I can't get it to stop!

It was in my head for over a week as well. It was replaced by the Daisy cottage cheese jingle. I prefer to have Scooby back.

  18. Wasn't The Jefferson Starship thing spread like a viral infection? Maybe that's why Cas could heal Dean that time. The others don't spread like a virus. Unless I'm forgetting something, which I probably am.

  19. I was fine with the prank. I don't think Dean would every do anything that would have long term effects on Sam, so no Nair in the shampoo. It was for his own amusement as no one else is in the bunker. I also wondered if he just wanted a reaction from Sam to gauge his mindset. I'm still not sure Sam is fine right now. I'm also pretty sure Dean isn't either but he's pushing it down.

  20. Gabriel doesn't look to be in any shape to go with Dean through the rift. Ketch had to drag him out when he was rescuing him.

I'm speculating that Gabriel took his "death" as an opportunity to run and do an angel witness protection sort of thing. Remember, he was hiding when Sam and Dean figured out he was an angel. He never wanted to get involved. I think he tried to hide and was found by someone. By the looks of him, he's been tortured for more than the few months Asmodeus has been around. I also believe it's our Gabe. Every other alt angel has had a different meat suit  from the original.
