Hope loves to play victim. She had plenty of time to explain that she was waiting for Carter and not the CEOs husband.

Nothing is worse to me than victim Hope and put upon Brooke. 🙄

Hope IS a victim in how she is being treated at work.

It is none of Steffy's business why Hope was wearing lingerie at work (especially considering the barely covering her crotch and titties on display attire Miss Thang sports most days ending in Y). Or whom she was wearing it for.

    It. Does. Not. Matter.

Even if it was Finn she was looking to entice and boy, if he didn't seek her out in her office, where she is known to be Mon-Fri 8a-5p. It still does not matter.

But again, for the cheap seats, Hope's attire and the person whom she was wearing for are none of Steffy's business.

Hope also doesn't report to Carter so there's no issue there.

Hope's sex life or love life or dating activities are none of her CEO's business unless there is a anti-fraternization policy at work, which clearly there isn't since the head designer/ertwswhile co-CEO is married to Brooke who is kinda sorta a co-CEO, too, now, and pretty much everyone who has worked there in the history of ever, except perhaps Charlie and Pam, have fucked or canoodled in the office premises.

Steffy has zero grounds to stand on and her termination of Hope is unlawful. Hope doesn't have to "play" at being the victim. She IS one. Two-fold. Hostile work environment and unlawful termination - and Steffy is entirely to blame with a side of Ridge hand-waving as always.

Really? I think its the opposite. She is being portrayed as the big bad bully to innocent Hope. Everyone will be backing Hope. Steffy will have to eat her words eventually and Hope will be back. or not without a job for long.

Steffy IS the big, bad bully to Hope. She has been for weeks, ever since Hope kissed Finn at a non-work event and Finn is not a FC employee even though he's there far more than at the hospital where he is supposed to be a doctor. Hope is innocent from any workplace wrongdoing but Queen Bitch is so insecure about her own marriage because of her own open warfare on her relationship with Finn (via fucking and kissing Liam while supposedly committed to Finn, the former resulting in WTD #2) that she's projecting onto Hope and wielding power she has no business wielding.

If this show were based in any kind of reality, Steffy would have been, at minimum, investigated for a hostile work environment and likely on leave or fired. Her hostile treatment of Hope is illegal as is her firing. Hope should sue FC but we know she won't but if she did, she should absolutely win, as it's not even a she-said, she-said situation but there are multiple witnesses to the horrific treatment.

And Steffy has NEVER faced any real consequences for her horrible behavior, except for the nanosecond when Liam rightfully left her ugly-crying on the walkway at the cliff house when he learned about Stallion Night and WTD #1 and even he succumbed to the brow-beating to forgive and forget because of Kelly. Until after Hope returned to town. That is the sole time since she has had a fully-formed frontal cortex that she was made to take responsibility for anything and it is important to note that she took no responsibility for Stallion Night until after Ridge and Taylor assumed Bill took advantage of her. But even then, she would never have come clean if Liam hadn't caught her red-handed. Even Katie of all people visited the poor, pregnant adulterer to "there, there"  her a little bit.

So I'm going to be like many of us here and be just a WEE bit skeptical about the prospect of Steffy ever paying.

Again, she's the female Victor Newman or the poor man's Stephanie Forrester. Even Stephanie realized she was an insecure idiot and made her peace with Brooke, wanting her by her side as she was dying and no one else. But this bitch will never, ever learn. So long as she keeps being enabled and being told that the bed of shit she's made for herself smells like a rose.

  3. Luna is back next week.

Yes, that means Poppy, too, but I will take Luna any way I can get her.

But can she please escape and put That Bitch Back in the Box?

Because she has been even more insufferable than usual since Finn rescued her, a feat I didn't think possible.

  4. It's official. Steffy has become the Victor Newman of the show where despite her far-worse deeds, she is never allowed to have anything rubbed in her face or even brought to her attention, never brought to task for anything, ever, and must always WIN at the expense of everyone else.

Hope and Carter need to bring a hostile work environment lawsuit against FC and given how Queen Bitch Steffy has treated them, high-ranking employees, I'm guessing there are probably enough others to file a class action suit at this rate.

I hope Fridge and Drowned Meerkat are really proud of the trifling heifer they've raised.

What am I saying? Of course, they are. They've aided and abetted her for years.

I wish Sally Spectra 2.0 could flee GC and the clutches of Butt Biscuit Nostrils Never Billy Abbot and relaunch Spectra Fashions and get Hope, Carter, Ivy, Zende, and Electra on board.

It would be so damn soapy if, at some point in a couple months or so, we have a scene of Hope talking to someone (probably Brooke) about how she's falling for Carter, and then we cut to Carter and Steffy in bed, their post-coital conversation revealing to all of us that he seduced Hope at Steffy's behest, and meanwhile, he and Steffy have been carrying on for a while behind everyone's back.

    Now that?

    Would be worth watching.

You say tired and lame...but I'll raise that and call it creepy.

This is way, way, WAY too rushed. They literally just locked lips a week ago or more like 2 days in soap time.

Wiping the smug from from Alex, Mookie and Edgardo's faces remains to this day one of the highlights of this show's entire run.

This will always be my second favorite boot.

Ozzy, being booted in Micronesia with an idol in his POCKET back at camp, will always be my fave. His initial smuggary, the growing realization something was amiss, Cirie's glee, Parvarti's stone-cold assassin demeanor, then his death glare and Eliza's reaction were all things of beauty.

  8. Brooke, have some self-respect, girl.

    GaCKZWrW0AAS1Hf?format=jpg&name=small

She's all but peeing on Ridge's leg here.

At least Hope stood her ground with Liam.

I would have cringed, too, seeing that video.

    Liam-Hope-BB-CBS.jpg?resize=1024,598

Is this the 2024 equivalent of making a mixed tape?  Hope's face is just like mine when a boy I decidedly did not like gave me a tape in junior high that featured, among other ditties I'd like to brain bleach out of my mind, "Secret Lovers." On both sides.

And also, Waffles, STOP FUCKING KISSING WOMEN WITHOUT THEIR FUCKING CONSENT!!!

I want to resurrect Satanie so she can bitch-slap Liam. He needs it, badly.

He is so damn deliberately obtuse, responding to her pulling away and literally putting her hands over her mouth, by saying "I've been wanting do that for a really long time."

Before or after you kissed Steffy, TWICE, without her consent even if she did reciprocate?

Completely agree that Steffy not taking Taylor to task for her ridiculousness now and then is a missed opportunity.  Even some admission that the reason she is so defensive of Taylor is because of how hurt and let down she's been over the years and having, in a lot of ways, to parent her own mother. That the only reason Taylor came back is for Ridge has to hurt.

And RB playing the part and looking almost the same age at JMW just makes it so much worse.

  9. What in the hell did I just watch?

Ridge doing yoga with DMG and knowing the chakras? Riiiight.

i thought his poetry nonsense with Katie was bad enough.

    Brooke peeking through the windows.

These are 60-something year olds. Okay, DMG is younger but still.

Also, ex-wife or not, Ridge's first loyalty should have been to Brooke.

He should have told her - from the beginning - what was going on and if she wasn't comfortable with him helping DMG heal, then that should have been the end of it.

Also, should the person who caused BHS be the one to help her heal? Methinks not. One would think a "world renowned psychiatrist" (blech) would get that.

Cope were cute with a side of hot today, but otherwise, the show was a total snoozefest.

  10. Waffles, go peddle your soggy offerings somewhere else.

You're back at Hope's door because for once in the history of ever, Steffy isn't biting on him wanting her back. It's official, folks, Liam has the worst peen in the B&B universe.

    And the worst timing.

Where was all his talk of forgiveness when a remorseful Hope was begging him to reconcile after he saw her kiss Thomas? When he had done far worse after Mannequin night and Hope forgave him?

He can also miss me with using what happened with Beth to try to emotionally manipulate Hope into getting back with him since it's less about Hope and more that he cannot be alone and Steffy isn't interested. Hope still knows nothing about the two kisses he planted on Steffy, but something tells me she wouldn't care or be all that surprised. It's what he does. It grates, though, that Finn continues to be in the dark, especially when Steffy reciprocated both times and still uses Liam as her shoulder to cry on.

    Hope-Liam-BB-CBS.jpg?resize=1024,598

Hope's Face: "You're a day late (months actually) and about a thousand dollars short."

I'm so glad she is standing firm here. Going back to him when he hasn't changed one iota other than suddenly saying all the right things, like how she had to "accept a divided heart and divided time." Remember how Liam called Thomas out on saying all the right things? Hypocrite.

It was so satisfying to see her acknowledge him but nothing more: “Thank you for saying that. It’s nice to hear that coming from you. But Liam, we’ve moved on.”

Their hug of closure was more than Liam deserved.

Also, Carter, you've shared one kiss. It's a bit soon to be doing the RUH ROH! look of alarm.

    Hope-Liam-Carter-BB-CBS.jpg?resize=1024,

The less said about Tridge 3.0 the better.

While Ridge, the character, might be loving the attention of two women, per his usual MO, TK, the actor, looks as if he'd like to be anywhere else.

But seriously, why, exactly, did they bring Taylor back?

    Ridge-Taylor-BB-CBS_2dda7c.jpg?resize=10

These two have anti-chemistry and it's painful to watch and boring, so my FF button is going to get used a lot. Ditto for Steffy slut-shaming Brooke and Hope and parent-trapping.

Can't Luna be sprung loose to put that Bitch back in her Box?

  11. Marlena's blue wedding dress was my favorite of hers.

ITA that Hope's wedding look from the wedding with Larry was her best. So much better than the the get-up she wore to her wedding to Bo.

I loved Jennifer's dress from her first wedding to Jack. Fabric roses and all.

Another fave was Kim's dress from her wedding to Shane. So timeless.

  12. I posted this in the Milestones thread but thought it fitting to post here.

I am still so gutted over the loss of Drake Hogestyn.

He was the only Roman Brady for me and truly owned that role, but when Wayne was brought back, Drake was more than up for the challenge of revisiting his John Black roots. And no offense to Wayne, but it was such sweet satisfaction that it would be John and Marlena in the end, as the chemistry between Drake and Deidre Hall was (will always be) out of this world.

While he was gone far, far too soon, what an amazing life he had, a double science major in college, with plans of becoming an oral surgeon, only to pivot to a baseball career, being drafted by both the St. Louis Cardinals and the New York Yankees, known then by his first name of Don (Drake is his middle name).

    drake-hogestyn-baseball.jpg?resize=1200,

An injury would end his baseball dreams while playing for the Yankees farm team but then he was plucked from a group of 75,000 hopefuls for an actor training program by Columbia Pictures (one of only 30).

He had a few roles, including his role on Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, which is available on YouTube, but not finding real success when he got the call for Days and thought this was the end of the road for him. He won the role of The Pawn on Days, which was supposed to be very short-term, but his undeniable connection with Deidre made TPTB go in a different direction and determine he was Roman Brady, returned from the grave, and the rest is history.

    Drake-Hogestyn-Deidre-Hall-1024x509.jpg

I also loved his romance with Isabella and that Drake succumbed to the same thing that Izzy B died from is just...tears.

    hqdefault.jpg

I also think about how much he loved and was loved in return. Falling for his wife, Victoria, on a baseball field in Fort Wayne, Indiana, when he was 15 and she was 12, and their four beautiful children, including Ben, who followed in his father's acting footsteps. Though it's hard to believe it of my first daytime crush, he was a grandfather of seven.

    hogestyns.webp

But definitely the most foxy of silver foxes.

    drake-hogestyn.webp

Bidding Drake a fond, if teary-eyed, farewell, and a hearty "fuck you!" to cancer.

But I won't end on that note. I'll end on the scene that my whole life long will be the one I will always remember above the thousands of others I've been privileged to watch over the years.

  13. I'll second the cute and hot factor and it's kind of refreshing to have them be cute and funny and not the usual angst and DRAH-MA of hot.

I mean, what's not to like about this?

Liam is reduced to being Will's wingman.

I'd grit my teeth, too, Liam, but then you are the most soggy Waffles of all time so I don't care.

And mark my words, Steffy will complete the Spencer hat-trick by bedding Will inside of two years.
