I was so glad that this show is back. And, wow, does Melissa McCarthy look good! What I couldn't believe is that a police officer not only puts his wallet on the dash but that he keeps his Social Security card in his wallet!

As far as I can tell, she's suing for damages for her mental injuries caused by the shock of being allegedly choked and manhandled by Josh during otherwise consensual sex. She claims she can't continue with her careers in porn or stripping as a result of the injuries.
Well she is a woman and not suppose to work! Therefore...

I too worry about what baby #5, if there is a baby #5, will do to Josh. He seemed to be overwhelmed with the brood he already had, but then again he had money to spend on hookers. And, then again, Josh does have the power to put on a condom no matter what his daddy/Gothard says. Anna must obey him so Joshy you go ahead and use that condom or go get it snipped (a better use of your spare thousands of dollars IMO).

I bet Jana is talkative and funny! I think when she gets to be around her friend, and who knows how often that is, she is so relieved from not having to watch/feed/school/bathe a howler or 2 or 3 that she relaxes and has a good time.
Isn't cheese in most of their recipes? What is not to love.

I like this show a lot more than I thought. Eva was good on Desperate Housewives but she is fantastic on this! The woman who plays her make-up artist is great too. "Nope, you are still smiling."

I think she is like some (not all) welfare moms: if I have another kid, that is more money. Or in Duggar Dependence World: if you have another child you are godly and we will take care of you. And you are a woman so you don't have to get a job.

So Jana "coordinates large events" is that another way of saying she is in charge of all parties? Large parties where she still has to take care of her assigned howlers and yet make sure the party goes off without a hitch?
Lucky Jana! If she starts courting now, and drags it out for a couple of years, then has a year long engagement (way to be different from her sisters) she might be able to hit 30 before she starts breeding. Fingers crossed!

I think part of it is that Kelly and Gilly don't have a handle on the kids. When they all wanted to go in the house and she said "Why is the door locked?" Kelly said "That must be Judson" and sure enough kid is headed out the back door. It must be a lot of her. The noise, the mess, the parents lack of parenting, the skirts, the lack of jobs, and I wonder if they were ever hit up for money before the t.v. deal and Lawson got his job.

That would be so great if the judge ordered real therapy for ole Joshy! I have a nephew whose wife begged him to get a job (she got preggers by him and believed his lying ass that he spent his days job hunting). After 2 years she was done begging and filed for divorce. He asked for alimony and the judge gave him 6 months to get a job. The judge did what the family couldn't - convince him that work was a good thing.

Agree with the comments on Whoop. If her "friends" were giving out a blanket, warm socks, a sandwich and a bottle of water along with the lotto ticket then MAYBE that might be a good thing. But handing out a ticket saying "I hope your luck changes before you freeze or starve to death" is not cool.
