Does Siggy have to make everything about her?  When Chris announced Ashlee's pregnancy, my god.  Get a fucking grip.  She's totally obnoxious.  "You have a life when you have a child." So, those without kids don't have a life?  Fuck you, you freakish looking bitch!

I had to rewind it because I could not believe what I heard.  And then I wanted to come back here and comment, but I got distracted by the Presidential debate.  I also wanted to find Siggy on social media, perhaps Twitter?, and just go off on her.  I despise this attitude espoused by people with children, as if some basic biology gives your life meaning.  I mean, maybe it does, but for those of us (either by choice or other), it's a pretty stuck up and narrow-minded view to take.   Siggy can have her "life" with kids who do everything possible not to be with her.  I'll just hang out with my cats and knitting and enjoy life.

While I understand that raising an autistic child can be challenging, I couldn't help but side eye Jac's tears.  She has a way of demanding attention and doing something dramatic to get the focus back on her.

I came in here to bitch about Jacqueline always having to be the center of attention, but then I was so impressed with the rest of the housewives not taking her bait.  Instead,  they turned it around and calmed things down.   I was actually watching them act like grownups.   So impressed with them.  I still think Jacqueline is a child but was really impressed by the rest of them.  I never thought I would say that about Teresa or Melissa.

  3. Well, that was a fake out between Jacqueline and Teresa.  And, I'm happy about that.  I don't need those two to fight anymore.  I wish it was the series finale tonight.  Everyone friendly, focusing on their kids, running their "businesses" and turn the cameras off.   There's nothing left and I don't really like the idea of Jac and Teresa or Teresa and Melissa or anyone fighting.

  4. This show has become the equivalent of Three's Company.  When I realized that Richard was spewing to the reporter,  not to the coach,  I turned to my husband and said,  "He's channeling Jack Tripper".

  5. I am used to Shameless pushing the envelope so I don't have big reactions to watching it. But, last night I reacted so badly to Debbie dropping Francie that my husband came in the room because he was genuinely concerned. I had to apologize to him because I didn't even realize how much I reacted.

Very upset that Fiona pronounced the baby "fine" without taking her to the ER. Babies aren't that resilient and you are not a doctor, Fiona! But what do I know, I only have cats.

Finally, I am in the same boat as some of you....too much rotten luck in the Gallagher family. Why couldn't Ian keep his internship? Between the baby dropping, this, and Lip's self destruction, I was pretty depressed after this episode.

Also, one last thing, SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE BABY FRANNIE A BOTTLE.

  6. Re: Zombie House Flippers - I live in Orlando and while watching the show, I get on the Property Appraiser's website and I have found that on the last few shows, they exaggerate the price they pay for the homes and the sales price.

Also, the episode from this past weekend, "Monster House" included a gator in the pool.  The show included a scene where the team placed fried chicken (I swore to my husband it was from Publix - which is a great grocery store found in the South) as a bait to coax the gator out of the pool and patio area.  That's so illegal.  You are not allowed to feed gators.  Period.  Alligators should never see people as a food source.

They only paid $315,000 for the Monster House (the show says they paid $350,000).  According to the county records, the house has not sold and it's on the MLS at $649,900.00

Also, my cats like to shit in my backyard and it got to smelling something fierce. Told Mr. Grumpbump to give Aubry and Rodie a call.

  8. I am certainly not one who thinks everything has to be shiny and new, but usually people renovate houses because they are well built and have good bones.  This house just seemed so cheap and flimsy.  I also could not understand their reasoning.  They thought their original larger, but not gigantic home was keeping the family from bonding, because everyone had their own room?  Are they trying to force their close to teenage daughters to spend time with them because they have no escape in the small area?  Also, not only will the children have to get used to a much smaller home, but they will also be moving across the country.  That seems like an awful lot of change for a whim.  It seems like it would of been much easier to do a family game night or something to that affect.  I loved their snarky realtor who obviously though they were crazy. Their two year old twins were adorable, though.

At the beginning of the episode they described their family vacation, driving cross country with the kids and visiting 30? states. That's the way you reconnect as a family. The story should have ended there. Not uprooting the clan and forcing them to completely relearn a new living arrangement. The one bathroom for six people bothers me too. I know it's not that unusual but I really felt bad for the older girls. Is there any resale value in those tiny houses? I guess the land could increase in value but I can't see the home really adding value. I think I would be hilarious to check in with them a few years later to find that they added onto the house. Maybe that second bathroom?

Also, their realtor's reactions were the best part of the episode, especially when she tried to say that she understood what they were doing and she respected their decision. Bwah!

  9. I watched the episode with the CA family of six downsizing to 100 sq ft per person.

This is a cute and even understandable concept for couples, but these guys have four kids! And their oldest is 14 and Dad's reasoning is that she is not going be at home forever. What? You are telling her now that she's on a four-year deadline? Argh. And they really considered a house with no indoor toilet??

Also I noticed Mom had her nails done. I seriously question their priorities.

  10. My thoughts on the episode (some of you have already touched on them):

    * Lisa R.'s girls calling the people of Medford "chub chubs". Really pissed me off (perhaps because I am a chub-chub). What brats. We should have heard Lisa reprimand them for their intolerance and judginess.

    * I like Eileen and her home and her story a lot. It helps that I have watched y&r since I was 11 years old. I believe what she says and I don't think it's (much of) a facade like the other women.

    * Did Lisa V say her hooker shoes were only $1,400? Doesn't that seem cheap to a woman who has swans in her moat around her house? Those shoes (didn't quite hear the designer's name) were sparkly and super bedazzled. Certainly I misheard.

As long as I get to see the house porn on this show, I am in for the duration, even though I can't stand Brandi; she doesn't fit the franchise and sticks out like a sore thumb.

  11. We were definitely robbed of the spectacle that would have been a live Frankie eviction. I am so glad he's gone but I was even more angered when he insisted on holding Julie's hand during the video messages. It was too.much as typical with this guy. The more I thought about it, the more I think that Frankie is a time traveler and he has come to us from the early 20th Century where he was a silent film star and he honed his skills of over reacting and making grand gestures and movements. That's the only explanation for his inappropriate gestures and for how damn old he looks.
