From that article it sounds like she realized she'd gone too far. It's too much to hope that this is because she regrets what she said. I don't think though that she expected to have her show cancelled. Like a lot of powerful people before her she overestimated her ability to control the tide.
She's not sorry. She is back tweeting things like "I didn't know she was black; I thought she was Saudi," as well as more Soros conspiracies

But when they flashbacked to Jack telling Kate that he couldn't marry her ("it doesn't work that way") but that she would find an even better guy for her...I may have gotten something in my eye.
But ugh Deja, why did you have to ruin my good feeling buzz?
Kate was way too old to be asking Jack to marry her

Felt bad for Ysabel. I had a full spinal fusion for scoliosis at 11. It hurt like hell, the physical therapy was brutal, and I had complications because basically everything in body shifted positions and one of my arteries pressed down on my intestine, causing a blockage. And then two years ago, one of the metal rods got infected and I got to do it all over again. And the scar does suck.

Jack's monologue at the end of "The Car" was one of the worst things I've seen on TV in recent memory. It was so utterly cheesy, over the top, and just cringeworthy that I couldn't believe a team of writers and produceres, a director, and Milo Ventimiglia all agreed to do it.
This show is just so, so bad. It has its moments (I rather liked the fire + Jack's lowkey death scene) but oh my God all of these writers need to be fired.
I find a lot of things on this show to be incredibly saccharine and cheesy, but I agree that this scene really takes the cake. In second is the scene of Jack doing pushups with Randall on his back while the karate instructor gives a cheesy speech

BOB We'd like the White House to pay a little more attention to UFOs.
SAM Are we paying any attention at all right now?
BOB No.
SAM Thank God. Like we don't have enough trouble with the First Lady and her Ouija board.
I thought of this when reading the NYT article about DOD funding for UFO research

Carina Deluca is the most useless character. She's literally a sex ornament taking up precious space and time that would be better spent elsewhere.
My eyes hurt from rolling them at Meredith's Harper Avery nominatiaon.
I didn't get why Jackson was babbling on about a new competition/award. For what, exactly? So the super rich boy isn't bored anymore? This one went right over my head. That money could be more useful for other hospital resources.
Didn't Jackson get a quarter of million dollars and offer Bailey half of that? $125,000 is drop in a bucket at a major hospital. They spend more than that on gauze pads
Never mind. I just read it was a quarter of a BILLION dollars. That makes more sense

No. I am not here for this. We already know that SB will be Real Jason Morgan and Billy's Jason will be an imposter Jason so JaSam will be ruined, Sam will be muddied and now have two babies by two different fathers, just like Liz.
Not to mention all the new retcons on top of all the already-written retcons that will be needed to make this viable
God forbid a soap character be muddied or having multiple baby daddies!

Guys, Steve Burton is coming back.
Two Jasons. As if one Jason isn't bad enough. JaSam v. Liason wars times two.

Well if nobody else will say it, I will. It's Steve Burton.
This is in response to Jamey Giddens teasing a return on twitter all day

The producer is suing because she was "uncomfortable?" Oh good god. Go get a superior and ask they stop it. Or if you are in charge, stop it yourself with help from the rest of crew. She has put ABC, the show and participants in the news and some kind of legal trouble (not sure what). And she has zero chance of getting a job anywhere on TV. LOL! No guns were involved, handle this like a sane adult.
I hate that our society is so litigious. HATE IT.
I am not sure she was suing. It sounds to me like she may have filed a third party criminal complaint on behalf of Corinne

There's a picture of Metz in this week's People and to me she looks even larger than she did padded in AHS. Too bad, I was really hoping she'd shrink in this role, for her own health and because I love a weight loss success story. I quit Empire long ago but Sidibe is looking great, with her recent weight loss.
I think this show and its success has given her no reason to lose the weight. Despite being morbidly obese (which is undeniably unhealthy), she gets listed on the most beautiful people lists. People point out that wearing a latex dress is not a flattering look for someone of her size, and they get blasted by the celebrity tabloids as fat shamers.

Does anyone really want a Kate/Toby sex scene?

I actually laughed out loud when Rebecca's "angelic" voice stopped Jack from grabbing the money out of the cash register. I think this show is too cheesy for me. And they have dragged out the death way too long. I'm out

I actually find Kate to be the weakest spot. She is whiny and bitchy, she is not nice or charming, or she has no career or ambition. They really haven't evolved her character beyond being fat and miserable
Kevin at least has the push/pull relationship with Randall

Just looking at that list...snore. Same GH actors. Why don't we just nominate the entire Corinthos clan? Where you at, Avery?
And poor Billy Miller. Still NOTHING to submit in what? Over TWO years?
Eh. BM had an entire episode of Emmy bait when he got his memory back. Maybe if he woke the hell up and acted...

Are these foolish writers really trying to push Julexis again? Its disgusting. He held a knife to her throat, and instead of feeling bad about it, he is blackmailing her
As if I didn't find their sex scenes disgusting enough the first time around. The next one will be repulsive

No way is cheap ass Frank paying for JaSam to have twins. That would involve casting four babies
