  1. Here’s what I hope is a good question:  when the people from RRR  perform their musical number on the Oscars stage, which famous person will they pull out of the audience and have them dance on stage?

FYI:  I’m watching RRR right now.

To be fair, she only started her second trimester a couple of weeks ago  (🤯), which would make her at about 16 or 17 weeks. That baby is not viable. I couldn't understand why Terry suggested it.

The pacing on this show is terrible.

Because she said Willow is now eight (?!) months along.

It's especially stupid for Michael to feel this way, given he's an adult (supposedly™ Silas Clay forever) with his own family and life. And trying to take down Sonny over this? GMAFB.

I miss Sillas.  He would LOVE Michael as a son-in-law (supposedly ™️).

And I'm sure we're supposed to think Cam's the jerk because he doesn't want to be her friend.  Double vom.

    Bye, Britt. :(

ETA...I do hope this death leads Dr. O to scorching the Earth.

Fingers crossed she starts with the She-Beast.

Yes.  Silas Clay.  Was married to Nina and got her pregnant with Nelle and now Willow as well while simultaneously having an affair with Ava and getting her pregnant with Kiki.  Silas was a busy guy.

And Michael has been with all three of them.

I watched an awful movie yesterday:  Desire Me, with Robert Mitchum as a French fisherman from Brittany--wot?

Married to Greer Garson.  It's a reverse Martin Guerre/Sommersby.

After the war, Garson thinks Mitchum is dead, so she takes up with someone who's conning her and knew her husband in the prisoner of war camp.  Played by Richard Hart.  A real stinker with nothing believable about it.  I skipped through most of it.

Such a stinker that the director demanded he not have his name in the credits.

Wait...she actually tells Nina to drop dead?  Oh, Nina, leave the country right now and cancel your cell phone plan.  Make this asshole work for your sweet, sweet, healing bone marrow.

I'm torn between wanting those two idiots to beg for Nina's bone marrow when the truth comes out or having Nina killing them with kindness.

One example: say Nina is tested before the truth comes out and finds out she is a match, she immediately does it for Wiley's sake so he doesn't lose another mother.  When the truth comes out, while Nina is furious, but she does the opposite of hypocritical trio did: she puts her grandchildren first and says that they need both of their grandmothers in their lives and is completely civil with Carly, Michael and Willow, tells Willow about her newfound family history (Silas, Nathan, Madeleine, etc.) if Willow asks, but decides not to have a mother/daughter relationship with Willow and chooses to not waste time and dote on her grandchildren instead.

I know it isn't what people may want to see, but it will drive the hypocritical trio nuts!

Nina might realize that would be the perfect revenge.

Oh FFS, Lauren, shut yer trap about Diane. And WTAF are you wearing? That snakeskin pattern looks a little too much like your natural skin tone. Hmm.

Gee Phyllis, "calculating and deceitful women"? Such as YOU? It's amazing Phyllis has never developed an alcohol or drug problem because she has an obsessive personality. Diane is like crack for her.

Isn't Dom a bit old to be still hanging out in a playpen? I thought he was walking now. 🤔

Summer copping that nasty attitude with Diane was uncalled for, IMO. I wish Diane would snap back at her, just once, but that would probably escalate things with Phyllis and Nikki.

Diane wants to remarry Jack? Ehh, I don't know if that's necessarily the case and Phyllis has no actual evidence. But in her psycho mind her assumptions = facts.

Lol, Lauren bringing the real "bish, you cray" talk to Phyllis. Too bad it all goes in one ear and out the other. Phyllis has staked out the victim position and she's determined to stay there.

Just noticed the boa feathers on Abby's sleeves. Why would anyone handling a toddler wear such a thing?

Chance deliberately stayed out all night instead of going home to his family. Whoa, that's serious.

Geez, Diane, take a break. You stay pressuring Kyle and Jack to forgive you even when you know they have other things to deal with. It's exhausting.

Yeah Abby, there's a wall between you and Chance: it's your criminal enterprise of a family, the Newmans. Chance is a straight arrow and when he married you he didn't know he'd also signed up to be one of Victor's henchmen.

EB's been reduced to delivering exposition. He laid out Tucker's storyline today like Victor has a crystal ball, ha ha. Sorry, MWTs, us Preverts had most of that stuff figured out weeks ago.

NO NO NO NO NO! Do not want! Oh wait, Hilary's back? And she's about to catch Devon with his tongue down Abby's throat? Alrighty then. Let's go! 🥳

    Tomorrow’s episode is on YouTube.

    Spoiler

It’s more than just kissing.  Plus both of their significant others catch them!

I meant to ask: I'm unfamiliar with 3 of the earlier films: Tenth Avenue Angel, If Winter Comes, Kind Lady. Can anybody here recommend any of these?

If Winter Comes shows how MGM would cast Lansbury as women who were much older than she actually was.  I believe that 21-year-old Angela was playing a woman at least TWO DECADES older.  She plays the wife to middle-aged Walter Pidgeon!  Although Deborah Kerr is also in this the woman who got away from Pidgeon.  Now sitting here thinking about it, what the hell was MGM thinking casting two twenty-somethings as love interests to Walter Pidgeon?!

  11. I remember watching AFI’s 100 Years…Heroes and Villains series and Angela Lansbury started talking about a role she played on screen and I realized that it was time for a villain to be revealed and I was saying out loud “no not Angela Lansbury!!! She would never play a villain!”

And that’s how I discovered The Manchurian Candidate.

Edited to add:  OMG!! Angela Lansbury makes a cameo in the new Knives Out movie!!!!
