I thought Paging Mr. Darcy was solid. Kemp and Jansen had good chemistry. It isn’t a rewatch for me but it was engaging enough. Sweeter than Chocolate is on right now and I usually watch when it is on and I’m home. Jeannette and Mumford had great chemistry. I’m looking forward to next Saturday’s An American in Austen mainly because one of the leads is named Eliza Bennett! Also, Nicholas Bishop is in it and he was great in the Paris movie with Alexa PenaVega.

Love on the Right Course was written by Brittany Bristow and her husband. I love that! I liked the plot and the actor who played Whitney’s dad. I wish Bristow would have played the lead. Newbrough and Rosner were fine, but I usually don’t watch their movies. I thought it was funny that Daniel’s excuse to not having a Hungarian accent was that he went to an American school. It must have been a long time! I didn’t like how Whitney treated Daniel when she brought back her caddy and then blamed him for being distant. This isn’t a must rewatch for me, but it was a good writing effort by Bristow. I’m looking forward to the other new movies this month.

Did anyone watch Miracle in Bethlehem PA? It did well in ratings. It was a very sweet movie, and I liked Ayers and VanderVoort together, but I had a hard time getting passed the fact the hospital let her leave with a newborn with a major storm outside. They offered her a room and she said no and they just let her go. I know these movies don’t look at details, but still! She had to leave for the story to progress so it goes. At least her car didn’t break down right away like it does often in these movies.

I liked A Not So Royal Christmas well enough. Probably because I like Will Kemp in everything he’s in and he and Brooke had good chemistry. Even though they were both guilty of keeping secrets, her reaction made it seem like he was the only deceptive one. Other than that the movie was fine. I had My Christmas Guide on this morning and the leads were great. I haven’t watched all of this season’s movies, but this is one of the better ones. Only two things bothered me. Peyton’s boyfriend was unbelievably over-the-top stupid/annoying. She must have been desperate. Also, the way the school handled the bullying situation. I hope the boy was reprimanded for the bullying and not just the daughter who reacted to it.

I could tell Will and Lacey were having fun during their scene together. I’d never heard of James Robinson until this movie. He was a nice addition! It was an overall enjoyable movie: good acting, fine plot lines, and well directed. I wouldn’t mind a sequel. I haven’t watched every Christmas Hallmark season, but this was a good one.

Looking at the line-up and the actors, we have the regulars, actors we haven't seen in a while, and newcomers. The Movies and Mysteries movies look promising and so do several on Hallmark. Also, there are several actor pairings that look good. I don't see myself watching too many of the movies though.
