I would agree with this if the timing was closer to the Oscars. But that happened nearly two months ago, everyone has said what they had to say and moved on. Now the focus is on The Tonys, which he has been nominated for and that's what they focused on. This interview wasn't about Hollywood - this was about Broadway. This was his campaign to the Tony voters to give him the Tony next month (did he mention enough times how he loves being on stage, he loves a live audience, how long it took him to bring this vision to the stage, he loves Broadway. it's an 'amazing' experience, etc. ?)

The one she presents to us every day.

And they still hold zero credibility when not cited, no matter who's reporting it.

So Sunny spent her weekend at one of the HBCU graduations this weekend, and addressed the graduates of North Carolina A&T State University with her commencement speech. Congratulations, Sunny. I was waiting for her to say that after the Graduation speech, Gabriel had tears in his eyes when she walked off the stage and told her he wanted to leave Harvard and attend North Carolina A&T State University; that going to an HBCU was more important to him than going to an Ivy Leaguer. Of course, she can't be prouder of him.

Great observation. She never reveals her 'polls' she references because it will ruin her agenda. Tucker Carlson could counter that on his show and say according to a poll, "1 in 100 white people believe..." and his comment would be just as valid as hers. Without anyone revealing a source for their polls (and letting the viewers do the research on the pollster) it's not a convincing argument. And when she revealed her 'poll results' today, I wish Whoopi would've jumped in and say her usual comment : "Now y'all know I don't pay attention to polls. People lie all the time when answering polls so I don't believe any of them. I think they're all bull *bleep*. They mean nothing." Then do a close-up on Sunny's face, and watch her reaction.

Remember - take a shot every time Whoopi uses the word "AMAZING" to describe Crystal or his show. Guaranteed you will be drunk by noon. 😊

Stephanie Grisham again ? I guess it's down to the wire between her and Allyssa Farrah What's-her-name. Not happy with either of them for permanent host. I'm sure Whoopi is going to tell us all that Billy Crystal is 'amazing' and his poorly-reviewed musical 'Mr. Saturday Night' is amazing, and he will be kissing everyone's behind to show what a nice guy he is so he can get a Tony Award.

Can't tell you exact quotes, but they were talking about expectations and disappointments. Sunny went on a roll about expecting her kids to do their very best in every endeavor they take on (hint: going to an Ivy League college) and if they don't do their best they disappoint HER. She also then clarified that they disappoint themselves, but they really disappoint her. What I think she really meant was they EMBARASS HER after she has bragged about them for the past few years on national TV. Again, to me, she wasn't saying it in a concerned way but more of an angry way with a glint of sadness in her eyes. That is when I realized as she was talking that something was probably up with her son at Harvard. My immediate thought was that her son did not do well in his Freshman year, and may not be going back in the Fall. As we've since pointed out - first year in a college away from home is not always the easiest, and there are a lot of temptations to distract you from doing your best. And - especially at an Ivy League - there's plenty of competition there from other A+ high school grads from around the world. So my guess - and this is only my guess - is that either he's not going back in the Fall, and will transfer to Howard or another HBCU (and she will make excuses for him); or, he will probably repeat some classes which will put him back a semester or more and not graduate on time. Either way, as someone else pointed out, it's going to readjust the stick up her ass. Trust me, I hope I'm wrong and the kid did great and will stay at Harvard and graduate on time. But there's something about what Sunny was saying that makes me think the opposite.

Thanks ! It occurred to me as she went on and on and on yesterday about whether her kids 'do their best' and 'disappointing her', etc. It seemed like she was holding back something which she isn't ready to share yet, but you could see sadness in her eyes. I won't be surprised if she announces that her kid has failed out of Harvard (though she will say something else, and make him a 'victim' and he had no choice but to leave that school). It won't surprise me if we will soon hear he 'transferred to Howard University to be with other men of color'. Working in a college, I can tell you firsthand - no matter how good a student is in their high school (straight A, valedictorian, etc.), college is a completely different experience. You are now competing with other kids from around the world who were tops in their high school. If you're not cutting it - you're out (especially at an Ivy League school). No matter how much money mom and dad donate to the school, it's the grades which count at an Ivy League. I think this is a lesson for Sunny to learn - quickly.

OBSERVATIONS: 1. Something is up with Sunny - she seems angry and stressed lately. That whole 'disappointment' conversation about her kids, and 'did you do your best'...that tells me Gabriel did not do well at college this year. It won't surprise me if we soon hear he transferred out of Harvard. Just my guess. 2. Hey everyone! Guess what month we're celebrating this month but haven't mentioned it since May 2 ? We'll give you a hint...Asian-American actor George Takei is our guest ! Another hint...he's going to discuss his own personal history of growing up in America ! 3. Poor Adam Glassman. He's morphing into Liberace before our eyes, having Oprah's favorite facial work done to his face. Throw a fur coat over him and put him in front of a piano with a candleabra and call it a day. (Once you see it you can't unsee it). And why no wooden serving trays today ? Did we run out or do you think we have enough ? Off we go to next week, which is the last week of May Sweeps. Let's see how many Garage Sales they will host for viewers. And let's stop auditioning these Trump women, please.

OBSERVATIONS FROM TODAY: 1. When Whoopi starts off the show with "Let's welcome back to the table our guest cohost for today..." she's really saying "Let's welcome back to the firing squad our victim for today..." 2. Sorry Whoopi - you're dead wrong about audience members in a theater not paying the actors salaries. The high price I pay ($300 +) for the ticket for the musical 'Company' certainly does make it's way into Lupone's bank account. I may not be giving her the cash directly in her hands, but I am paying the ticket agent who then turns the money over to the next person, in which eventually the producer receives it and then pays her. It's called an indirect payment, as it goes through different channels but ends up in Lupone's pocket, as well as other cast and crew members who are part of the show . If no one bought tickets, you'd all be out of a job. Furthermore, this is Whoopi claiming that the audience members aren't paying her salary. The same Whoopi who regularly reminds TV viewers that we're the ones who are paying our elected officials through our taxes. There's no difference between the two - as we're not paying elected officials directly from our checkbook either. 3. Joy messed up on Lupone's name, Sara interrupted her and said "She's your people," and giggled. Too bad she didn't tell Sunny that yesterday when they were discussing actor Jesse Williams, who happens to be half black like Sunny. No doubt Sunny would've appreciated the remark "He's your people" and giggled and laughed along with, correct ? Nahh- Sarah would've been on a month's long unplanned vacation from the show after Sunny would call her out and then complain to the network. 4. Speaking of Sarah, all those cosmetics which they sell on the show each week - can't she buy something decent ? Her make-up always looks like it came from Family Dollar. 5. Finally, I have to say this - whenever Sunny talks about her son, it really creeps me out. I think it goes back to when she said how 'sexy' he looked in a bathing suit a few years ago when he was in his young teens (can you imagine if a man said that about his teen daughter?). And now she gushes over how he's a mama's boy and he believes his mother is 'the love of his life'. Something very disturbing - to me - on how she describes their relationship. The same 'icky' feeling of when Meghan talked about MyFather all the time, and Trump talked about Ivanka. Eccccccccccchhhhh !

I believe she's implying Twitter users who misbehave (such as Trump) are not punished, not all Twitter users. That's the same as someone who doesn't drive voicing an opinion that those who speed should be punished. That makes sense to me. You don't have to participate in something to voice your opinion on what the consequences are for bad behavior.

Even last week when Paula Faris was on - she wore the one shoulder black dress which looked like she had just returned from 2021's New Year's Eve Party. They look ridiculous for daytime TV. Even the female weather reporters and news reporters on my local news always dress in skimpy cocktail dresses and party dresses. Why ? In the meantime, their male colleagues (who are the same age) don't wear 'club clothes' - they wear business suits with neckties.

According to WIKI, she's a 'political commentator' and 'contributor' - as I said in my above post 'as a journalist (or commentator),..' Again, it usually goes with the territory to travel around if she's following a story or 'headlines' to comment on.
