  1. Re Sam's quote above from MICAT - what is the difference between deserving the win and earning the win?  Did Sam and Asha get more gold stars on the class attendance list?  Did they clean the blackboard more than Oscar? Were they better at standing in line on the way to the drinking fountain and restroom?  Oscar deserved and earned his win!

  2. I would have thought more people would have gotten the Roman numerals, but maybe it was too sinusoidal or something.  I was born in MCMLIII.  I liked the detour tasks - little horses and gladiators! I wonder if teams could not move the rocks from the racetrack.

I'm enjoying Leo and Jamal this season. Maybe they are show-offy but they are good-natured and cheerful (at least that's what we see).  I'd rather be around them than people who whine and complain all the time.

  3. Yay for Oscar!  Thank goodness Heidi was one of the judges!  I could tell she and NPH did not care about what happened before, they wanted to judge on what they saw.  So thank you, Heidi, for getting to the point: what are the judging criteria? and sticking to it. I can hear her saying, "But if we are judging on the collections we saw tonight, then clearly Oscar is the winner.  I didn't see Asha's past work so I can't judge on how much she improved." When I saw Asha's collection I thought Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and ribbon candy.  Sam's was OK.  I liked his jacket and it had cohesion.  I didn't think Shan's was so bad.  I think he ran out of steam at the end.  But Oscar's was the best.  He kind of reminded me of Dimitry and I've liked him ever since the team challenge early in the season.

During normal Project Runway there is that gap between the final challenge and the runway collection, so I think the judges have a fresh look at the designers and are less influenced by past work and who improved the most.

  4. Morgan annoyed me, so I'm glad she's gone, but it would have been smarter to vote out Tony.  I still like Kass a little bit because I'm an older lady, too, but I think she should have voted with her old team.  I like Spenser and his hair - he's like a scruffy Malcolm to me.  Tony I like because he's a super fan and loves playing the game, but I don't want him to win.  I'd like Spenser or Tasha to win.  It would be funny if Trish won.  She might end up being the one people carry to the end.
