I watched the Waltons with my mom during 2009-2012, we would rent the seasons from the library. The only thing I liked about the show was being able to watch it with my mom. She enjoyed it and I'll admit I did too before Now that I'm watching episodes on Hallmark, I really really hate every part of it. The only character I can tolerate is grandpa and maybe John St. Olivia was such judgemental witch. If everyone didn't go to church or pray like she did, it was the end of the world. It was the end of the world when John Boy was in a dance competition. Grandma was a cranky moody witch. Unbearable. John Boy, an attention seeker, everything had to revolve around him and if he wasn't at the center of it he acted like a baby.
