I'd probably make a joke out of it: hold it up and say "Gino, did you lose something? I'm not giving it back, because this shade is all wrong for you!"

Jasmine cannot do that!  She's a needy jealous person who has learned that MAKING A SCENE will always work in her favor.  She finally found a loser who will do anything to keep her.  He might get irritated occasionally, but he'll always go crawling back to her insecure screaming bitchfest self.  They'll both be miserable for as long as they can stay together.

Kim was married for 25 years.  Now she’s with the second guy of her adult life.

But wasn't she a promiscuous younger female?  Was she a bit wild (drinking? drugs?) and wanted to forget/toss all that behind her and create a new persona when she met Barry?

Olivia-Good:  Calming trying to sort through all the horrible treatments of the Plaths and still being interested in trying to work it out with any of them.

Olivia-Good:  Standing her ground and keeping her boundaries.

Olivia-Good:  Recognizing that she's been the Plath family scapegoat for years.  Clearly this girl continues to receive excellent therapy for her to understand the dynamics of this family so accurately at her relatively young age.

This is excellent...but what will happen to Olivia when she's no longer wanted in "Plathville"?  It would be interesting to follow her life as it become more and more full and interesting--as soon as she escapes all the Plaths.  Is Ethan going to be shocked?

But they forget, she has 2 big fan bases… Buffy and HIMYM fans.

She even has fans via Penn and Teller!

In the "good old days," (the earliest days), didn't dancers get TENS if they deserved them--no matter how early it was in the season.  For some reason they "cannot" give a 10 until a few weeks in.   Balderdash!

So tired of Whoopi laying on the table. She is soooooooo bored.

And boring. I ff forward during her pontifications lecturing us.

And...apparently this never gets old.  She tells the audience (first day's audience stays for the second day's taping) that she feels like she's seen them before...or it's deja vu.  I assume THEY think it's funny.  To me, it's just more BORE!

  5. I bet Jealous Sunny is SEETHING!  Alyssa continues to be on various "news" panels regarding politics and NOW...she'll be on George Stephanopoulas Sunday show.  I'm sorry that Sunny is jealous...and I know most people can't control it.  It's just a bit fun to think that newbie Alyssa is getting national news exposure often because of her expertise in current political situations.

when whoopi rambles on and on, just once, I wish the whole panel would let their eyes glaze over and stare into the audience..

DRAMATICALLY!   With the camera on each of them: one by one.  If Whoopi gets attention for her OBVIOUS BOREDOM with too many current/entertaining topics, the rest of the panelists deserve the same attention.  I agree that she's a talented actress (that includes her one-woman show), but she's not bright enough to handle the top job at that table.  She's not half as bright as she thinks she is.

I can't decide if Pedro is really a scammer who used Chantel for a green card or not. But Chantel is so unlikeable that I don't really care.

I stopped watching LONG ago.  I thik Pedro probably was a scammer--but with no mind of his own. He was controlled by his mother who thought she found a way for him to get to the USA...and then he would bring her and his sister.  He sure did spend a lot of money on them (trips, gifts...lotsa gifts).  Luckily, I invested little time in any of these...probably ALL scammers in their own way.

Kim is finding such joy telling her children ‘I’m dating”!  Who cares. Go away.

I agree!  And when will she EVER come clean and say, "Ken was in my plan (plot) long before I ever moved out of our home" ??  Since she's no longer a Plath per se, maybe she should not appear on a show called "Plathville."  Hope Ken likes to be controlled; that's all she's about.

I do think that when Olivia meets a man who is from a more normal background, she will be blown away at how different that relationship will be compared to the funtionally illiterate manboy that Ethan is. He will never grow up, and I think he will always use his fundie background to.fall back on because deep.down he is terrified to grow beyond the ahit show he was raised in. And that? Is Kim abd Barry's greatest crime as the culty, shit parents they are.

I assume I'll continue to watch the show...but WHY should I have to "be with" Ethan when I'd rather support Olivia?  There's probably not enough "there" there for a spinoff for her.  Some wealthy secular human should give Olivia a full-ride scholarship to a university that will REALLY open her eyes; her heart is already open.

Olivia is  the one person on the show who has grown (of main characters, I was impressed by Amber last night).

Amber is definitely the most beautiful of them all.  If she can stay away from the thick foundation, she won't have as many complexion problems as Moriah and Lydia.  She's a deep thinker and Kim can't con her.

Olivia will soon get a taste of how Ethan treats his mother!  Unbending, uncooperative, stubborn

I think Ethan will be fine with give-and-take.  His mother was an unyielding tyrant.  Olivia approaches things from an almost therapist point of view.

Hmmm...my comment in 2021 is OFF ... WAY OFF!  I suppose Ethan IS "fine," but Olivia will be fading from any family pictures and TV shows.

100% Olivia is in the wrong. She is petty and controlling. She manipulates all situations,  from her and Ethan to her and moriah with the band. She wants to be picked over everything. Ethan gives up his family, suppose to move, suppose to be ok with always changing more and more but what has she changed for ethan?? They are not going to make it and he would have given up everything, she is forcing him to lose himself. She shouldn't have married a man she wanted to change everything about. I feel sorry for ethan!

Can one truly believe that she "married a man she wanted to change everything about"?  She was just as young and inexperienced as he.  She evolved over the years as most young people do; he did not.  Each wants the other to be something they (perhaps) cannot be.  I feel sorry for both of them, but Olivia can move on and be the happier and more complete human.  Ethan will be happiest working on cars and mechanical things and not thinking or feeling anything.

Ethan may find some nice Cairo girl and be happy tinkering with cars all day. Glad they chose not to have children.

There's probably not a "they" in that equation.  She could see that SHE would be the one unhappily burdened with homeschooling--which she doesn't value at all due to her experience.  Ethan is incapable.  I doubt if he reads at a third grade level (which is pretty good).

    9.  Kim and Barry portray a close and loving connection and marriage in these early shows--not all that long ago.  Either they were lying then or Kim is lying now.  (I suspect that latter and that Kim has had her new honey for a lot longer than she claims.)

Oh, yeah...and Kim will rightously justify anything she wants to do...no matter whom it may hurt or damage. This is merely #9 in your post of eleven insightful comments.  You should be a writer/producer on this show and steer the "stars" in better directions.  Kim should be shown the door!

My first thought - the editors made it seem very, very obvious that Theresa is leaving. Is it normal for them to make it so obvious?

    I hope - I hope - I hope - I hope ... but I don't trust those hints you're receiving.  I AM VERY CONCERNED that she's NOT leaving!  Ugh.

But I'd be very surprised, if only for the sake of this network experiment in demographics, if Gerry exited alone. Can't have the Golden Bachelor be Iron Pyrite!

I saw him on The View a few weeks ago and he acknowledged that he did "find love."  Of course, we saw him "find love" with all three finalists, so that acknowledgement might mean nuthin'.

Leslie is wearing lipstick, that very pale greasy kind that was considered sexy in the seventies.

Let's not miss Treeza's lipsticks...also greasy plus bleedy, definitely not PALE.  The highlighter on the tip of her nose was comedy relief.  I feel Garry will choose her because he's the type of guy who wants to be "the pretty one" in a relationship AND...because he'll appreciate the cringey adoration she displays 24/7.  Personally, I couldn't carry that off for 15 minutes.  Hmmm...is that why my husband left me after 20yrs to hook up with his younger secretary?

Olivia, you knew what you were getting into when you married that man-child. Deal with it.

Surely Olivia didn't have enough age/experience to know what she was getting with Ethan OR Kim.  She's been dealing with it and will for as long as there's a TLC contract.

Micah looks like a dick with that Gavin Newsome haircut, but it fits. How the hell can he afford a place of his own, especially if he's not doing much modelling now?

I'm old enough to be Micha's grandmother--maybe GREAT-grandmother and I think his hair is darling.  As for affording that place?  TLC??

When it gets right down to it, I think that Theresa would be the best one for him to pick. She may be a bit whacky, but she certainly is whacky for him, and would probably spend her days doting on him. He does seem like the kind of guy that wants someone who’s all goo goo eyed over him.

She would spend her days trying to please him.

Cooking, doing his laundry, cleaning the house, all the mundane basics that a lot of men have pretend incompetence in executing when a female is around to say…. “Oh just let me do it (the right way).” Lots of those types in the Golden generation out there now. On both sides.
I’d never fall for it heehee, thats for sure!

She is desperate to win him and seems like she would bend over backwards to make him happy he chose her.

If he is smart… he would pick Theresa.

This is probably right on....but just too ICKY for me.  I can't bear to be around "goo-goo-eyed" women ... and I rarely trust them.  I don't think he'll stay with whomever he chooses.

A marriage without trust rarely lasts.

Fortunately (so far), no children are involved.  I hope Ethan doesn't sweet talk Olivia into something that will be detrimental to their little family.  Olivia, look up IUD!

    You lost me at 'fundamentalist'.

It's SO interesting/sad/etc.  The only contact the 9 (remaining) kids had with other kids were at planned meetings with others with the same beliefs.  One of the adult children (male) is married to a girl he met at those meetings.  She has evolved and it's causing difficulties in their marriage.  One of the interesting scenes on the show was their going to a restaurant with friends and he (homeschooled) couldn't even read a menu.  He chose his meal by looking at the pictures.  I mention that ONLY because he wants his children (they don't have any yet because of "differences") homeschooled...even though he knows his deficiencies.

Micha, the model on Andy's show only knows who Celine Dion, etc. are because he has been living/working in L.A. and FL...and is friendly and open to new ideas.  He's often surprised/overwhelmed about what he'd never heard of.
