  1. Lucas Make Another Face Challenge: Not Achieved in this episode

I did like the scenes of Blue and Simone cooking dinner together and I don't blame Simone for inviting Blue to move in - he cooks and he cleans.

So now it’s either recast Spencer or find a new love for Trina or god forbid giver a storyline or something to do??!? Nah! That would be too difficult for the writers to think of.

Ava's gallery, art forgery/smuggling, & Trina. They could bring on a European dude for Trina to inappropriately channel her grief with. That age group needs some men and it looks like Cam is going to be away at Stanford this summer due to Wil Lipton filming his show and sorry, not sorry, Dex does not count.

I think Jason set up trust funds for all of the boys ages ago, but I don't remember if Elizabeth accepted them? At any rate, she seems to be able to take care of them just fine until it's a plot point she can't. Shut up, Michael, as always..

Proving that Jason isn't all knowing and wise, Liz lost the money Jason has put in a trust for Cameron and Jake on an investment. Ignoring the fact that does not sound like Liz at all - she would never have risked her sons' money - Jason apparently didn't set any parameters on the trust other than put money in a bank account. He didn't even appoint a trustee.

Could someone with superior memory skills kindly refresh me.. does Laura know that Spencer stole the election for her?

I guess Sasha is sticking around so she and Cody can continue to bandly flirt until she is ready to become a bland couple with him. I struggle to see any potential drama with them that I could possibly care about. Otherwise, some great moments today.

This is why Cody should be running a con or scheming to get money from a Quartermaine via BLQ or Tracey or Willow. Sasha could be someone he befriends in furtherance of that goal but then they genuinely become friends and he catches feelings which are contrary to his agenda. The con man/woman genuinely falling in love with their mark is a soap staple for a reason.

Hey Joss, do you realize that Jason has killed people on Sonny's orders?

She once tried to put a hit on Nelle - she wanted Uncle Jason to take care of the Nelle problem and while she didn't use the word kill it was obvious what she wanted to have happen. Joss' self-awareness is in the Andromeda galaxy.

But only if they've completely dropped Cody thinking he's entitled to anything from Dominique's estate. We've suffered enough.

I would drop Cody being Dominique's secret kid entirely. Make him Catherine Bell's. Of all the stupid retcon kids, Cody being Dominique's is the most stupid.

Eta: I'd like to see Kristina's youth center. Have her set up an adjacent legal aid clinic to give Alexis, Molly and maybe a hot new lawyer or two a little variety with their pro bono legal work. And let's fund it with a donation from a Mackenzie Scott Bezos-type character instead of dirty mob money.

You could even let Laura dust off her degree in Social Work to advise Kristina. Maybe sneak in a mention of or even an actual Ward or two.

Paging Serena Baldwin who did not, after all, donate her entire inheritance to the whales.

  8. The lastest episode of They Call Us Bruce podcast has interviews with Alexander Wood and Derek Tsang (producer and director, respectively). Some interesting stuff including Netflix only had the English rights so the majority of the dialogue had to be in English. They needed to get permission from to use Mandarin in the flashback sequences.

  9. Anna lived with Sonny after the gun shot that temporarily inconvenienced Curtis.

Since when does being a cop mean that the mob won't go after them? It might give the mob minor pause but if the benefits outweight the risks, they won't hesitate to kill. It's not like the PCPD is an adversary to be feared.

Just wanted to add that I didn't hate William Moses as Jeff. If his casting wasn't related to one of Liz's dumbest storylines, I'd have been okay with him recurring more often.

I still don't understand why Jeff's mistress had to be Finn's wife. There was like 6 billion people in the world when that affair happened. Chances are really good that these people know humans who are not related or connected in any way to people living in Port Charles. I wonder if the show was actually going somewhere with that or if they thought it'd make the story more intriguing [IMO, it did not].

Though Chase selling his truck to finance it is really dumb, imo.

Maybe he took the same "Easy Ways to Make Money For People Who Don't Personal Finance Good" that Carly did. She sold her hotel with the idea that she'd use that money to buy stock and when that stock made money she'd buy her hotel back. I would have just gotten a loan from the bank but I'm not brave and strong like Carly and I only love with most of my heart, not my whole heart, which is probably why I don't have millionaires offering me money for existing.

LOL i read this and I just thought of Denise Huxtable bringing her brand new husband from Africa. but i do agree with you. a lot of the actors of characters we could have are retired but they treat them like they can never be replaced again. screw that. replace them.

I am on you with the Dark Willow.

I still maintain we need AJ's secret kids here. my issue is that there is very little "Quatermaine" at the Quatermaines. it's way too full of Sonny/Carly bootlickers  and I feel Tracy needs some reinforcements. (and because Tracy is in her twilight years i think it would be good if you have a child of AJ's and her reflect on why she [Tracy] and AJ didn't really get along - because they realised they were the the same side of the coin - the afterthought child, and instead of combining forces they often and constantly butted heads

I am also with @lilabennet we need more hospital stories and a firm legacy character at the helm of it all. Elizabeth isn't enough. (she's a great start but not enough)

Did Steven Lars get sent to jail? Shouldn't he be out by now?

  13. I feel Cody should be scheming to get money whether it's by marrying into it or trying to con someone out of it. It'll make things more interesting when Mac finds out Cody is his son*.

*There's still time to pivot! Make him Katherine Bell's kid with a dude who is not Mac.

I’m ready for them to dump their entire 30s set and replace them. Michael/Willow are already a boring, old married couple, Chase/BL somehow also managed to be one and haven’t even gotten married yet, and Cody/Sasha are a big old dud. 6 characters in the prime age group and they are all bland. Maxie is the only one whose gotten better writing and a personality but I think she’s firmly in supporting character territory now.

Michael and Willow could be interesting if the show would just embrace Michael as the budget Adam Chandler the character should be and have Willow come to the realization she exchanged one cult for another. Disagreeing over Nina would be a good start - Willow realizes Harmony was not that great of a mother and Nina is the monster Michael thinks she is.

  15. Nina should have called Drew's bluff on shutting down Crimson. He himself said it was the only profitable magazine in Aurora's portfolio when he offered to sell to Nina. Let him see how much his precious Aurora stock is worth when he shuts down the only thing making the company money. How is he back as CEO or whatever after being imprisoned for insider trading?

  16. I figured it had to be Carly for all the reasons y'all have already stated but also Carly is the only one stupid enough to leave copious amounts of evidence behind. She committed the most obvious case of insider trading the SEC has probably ever seen so I fully expect the FBI to have many emails or tapes with the words "Kidnap Cyrus' mother" along with "shipments of the fake luxury goods" and "you need to launder more money through Nonna Lottie's Pizza and Calzones".

  17. Who's Jake?

Of the interns, I like Lucas the nepobaby the least. I don't know if the actor is being directed this way or if that's just his face, but he always looks confused like Sam Beckett just leaped into his body and needs to take a moment to figure out what is going on.

  18. I think Winston was referring to the story on GH being over. Like a lot of the stories on the show under the old writing regime, the basic idea - racial bias in healthcare - was good but the execution was really poor.

  19. I think Bailey is overcompensating for being a failure as a chief.  She was really bad at it - the surgery residency program nearly lost accreditation, doctors were leaving because of it, and there was a lot of bad publicity during her tenure.

Also, I can see people thinking Schmidt is cute or that his bumbling is adorable (although not what I'd personally want in a surgeon) but they have got to stop with the "Super hot surgeon" comments from people who have just met him.

But I did find Robert's self-proclamation as being a coward and afraid of Robin when he was in Anna's office. Way to try to tarnish Robin, Show. Just stop it.

I prefer to think of it as Robert deciding he didn't want to deal with Carly screeching in his face about how Jason is innocent so he assigned Molly to the case. The man didn't keep up his law license and CLE classes during his globe-trotting spy years to have to deal with that crap.

As for that dolt Dex, don't police officers have to go through training?

Looks like Sam had an extra cup of coffee to take on Jason after all her stoic moping for Dante. Go Sam! This falling out is more believable than her thinking he shot Dante. Can't wait to see the Carly/Sam catfight that ensues when Carly finds out Sam is trying to keep Jason's kid away from "the best man she knows!!!!!"

I wonder if Carly is going to threaten trying to get custody of Danny on Jason's behalf. She made that threat often enough with regards to Jake.

  22. Jason/Carly might have had a better chance if the writers hadn't tried to give them Robin/Jason's history. I wasn't much of a fan of that pairing and even I was offended on behalf of their fans. I think there is a way to write Jason/Carly but it would have to be presented as two co-dependent dipshits who've discovered no one else will put up with them so they might as well be together and not some grand passion or soulmates or first real loves.

  23. It ended up not being a factor but imagine if Adam missed out on the podium by less than two points. I wonder if Adam is still going to include the backflip if he thinks the podium is out of reach.
