This season is hands down the worst yet (and I’ve seen them all). Every couple is a dumpster fire — yes, Bossy, passive aggressive Jess and milquetoast Austin too —- and we are barely past the honeymoon. From spoilers we know that four of the five are broken up by the reunion show, three never came close to “consummating”, and at least one contestant is claiming he was defrauded by the show producers, who promised that “experts” would match him with someone compatible, but in reality the matches are made deliberately to create drama and discord. I think there is a lot of truth to that. The show didn’t start that way, but there is no doubt now that most couples are being selected by production for dramatic impact and not because some “scientific” process says they should work.
