Exactly! As long as the 'hero' of this show is an unapologetic mobster, I too can hand wave anything Ric and most other characters have done or will do too. As for LiRic, to this day, so much pretty!

While I know this may be the most unpopular of unpopular opinions, I'd rather see Liz back with Ric than Lucky. Let the tossing of virtual objects begin!

My initial reaction to NuBrennan is pretty much the same. I'm not familiar with the actor from his roles on other soaps, but boy was there a lack of chemistry between him and LW. Not only that, I don't buy the guys as the suave, international man of mystery that the previous actor exuded. Does not bode well for whatever is to come. That said, I'm afraid I'm not feeling it with Lucky and Liz. I remember how great the two characters were together back in the day, but I'm getting any of that right now. Sadly, I've found JJ's return pretty anticlimactic, some of which I blame on the dismal writing.

Maybe during one of the times when D&B were fighting, they had a drunken hookup. At least that's kinda soapy!

What if Dante isn't Gio's father? Cody was there at the same time. What if he's the daddy?!

It makes no sense! I know soaps are kind of imprecise about character's ages sometimes, but Dante has always been positioned as about a decade older than Brook Lynn. So what were he and Cody doing at a summer camp in their late 20s with teenage Brook Lynn?

I've just realized that I hate/despise/am indifferent to most of the characters on this show right now. The only ones I'm happy to see when they appear on screen are Ava, Ric, Martin, and Laura. This has never happened before. Even when the unholy trinity were at their worst, there were other stories of interest to me that kept me watching. Right now, I'm not sure if there's anything worth right now.

Sasha just learned who her biological father is a hot second ago. And now she thinks it's a good idea to conceal that same information from her child-to-be? How does that make any sense whatsoever, even on this fakakta show?

I'm going to disagree with several of you who have feel CM is doing a good job as NewDrew as I've taken to call him in my head. The writers decided to take Drew down a character road that makes no sense, IMO. They gave us no reason/rationale/idea why Drew is now such a sleaze, and CM's performance isn't helping. He's displayed no ability to turn this sh!#-to-sugar. He says the words and does the things, but I find nothing behind it. By example, one of the reasons that Ric Hearst has been one of my favorite actors on this show is he's demonstrated an ability to take anything the writers give him and make it compelling in his performance. Either CM is incapable or is unable to do the same.

See, THIS is the problem that I have with this show and why I'll NEVER support Sunny and his enablers. Every character who does 'bad' things on this show pays some type of price for they actions. Except Sonny, who is considered by all the upstanding citizens of Port Chuck to be a good guy' with a 'heart of gold.' He's a criminal and everyone knows it .Makes it difficult for me to care about any transgressions committed by other characters as long as he walks free. Plus, it's boring!! There was a brief, shining moment when Mulcahey et. al. came in and it seemed that, at last, Sonny was going to be treated as he so richly deserves. But that quickly changed and now we're back to the same old B.S.
