Totally agree on the "princess" dresses. Real Princess wedding dresses are nothing like what the Kleinfeld princesses are looking for. Illusion fabric is available in different colours. At least it is for figure skating costumes.

The Emmanuels (both of them wrote the book) described her as wonderful and down to earth. I have the book that David wrote about making Diana's dress. They put a lot of thought into it and went to great lengths to keep everything secret.
