  1. Totally agree on the "princess" dresses. Real Princess wedding dresses are nothing like what the Kleinfeld princesses are looking for. Illusion fabric is available in different colours. At least it is for figure skating costumes.
  2. Beautiful dress! Are you getting it in the same colour?
  3. The bride with no job has a registry https://www.bloomingdales.com/registry/wedding/guest/?perfectProxy=true&registryId=6633289&PartnerID=WEDDINGCHANNEL&LinkshareID=588908173&ref=wc
  4. The Emmanuels (both of them wrote the book) described her as wonderful and down to earth. At one point he was meeting with Diana at Buckingham Palace and the two of them went out on the balcony and waved at people. The Emmanuels spent a lot of time researching past royal wedding dresses and considering the scale of the venue. They actually went to St Paul's to measure the aisle. Some of the lace on the bodice came from the collection of the Royal School of Needlepoint. Queen Mary (Grandmother of the Queen Elizabeth) had donated it during WW2 for a fundraising program. This is the book: https://www.amazon.com/Dress-Diana-David-Emanuel/dp/0062088033
  5. I have the book that David wrote about making Diana's dress. They put a lot of thought into it and went to great lengths to keep everything secret.
  6. I found the website for the UK show store. http://confettiandlace.com/home/3672601 I like that they have dresses the average person might be able to afford. I think we see a lot more dresses too.
  7. I had the same thought about REAL princess dresses this morning while watching the Sunday repeats.
