Add me to the group that is bothered that Curtis and Amanda are rewarded for blowing their budget. Their "exposed beams" bothered me because the room just doesn't have the height or the area to really make it look good. For that size of a room, it feels a bit over bearing. Also, did anyone catch in the first episode where they worked on the master bedroom where in the beginning, they were talking about what they planned on spending they had said they were going to spend a lot on the master because it would really help sell the house? I remember hearing that and going "Huh? Don't people usually say that about kitchens and bathrooms????"

I'm wondering if eitherA) the show purposely hired incompetent contractors to work with them or B) the show hired competent contractors but told them to intentionally screw things up to bring on more drama. This show had a lot of promise but with each episode it feels even more staged than any reality competition show. Also not a fan of the tin backsplash. I don't want to be the one who has to try to clean splattered grease off those things.

I've been watching that one too, especially since that show and this one both started about the same time. I agree, there are definitely people on that show I want to strangle. It's also been interesting to me to see the difference. Rowhouse Showdown gives them a weekly budget but all of the labor and materials and furnishings all come out of it. I was really surprised to watch Flipping the Block the first week to find that they get all of the furnishings for free and the floors for free. Do they have to "pay" for labor too or is that included in Flipping the Block?

S01E03 - 210-square Foot Rochester Studio Retreat
judy replied to Snarkette's topic in Tiny House Nation [V]
Oh! That's Boneyard Studios in DC! I've been wanting to tour it since I heard about them but their open house schedule (once a month) has kept conflicting with mine! There are three tiny houses there but I don't know if any of the owners actually live there. There's a zoning problem. In keeping on topic, I really like the sink he had in the video much better than that wash bowl they had in the episode. I'm wondering why they didn't think to maybe hang some of the beer brewing equipment from the ceiling. -
I enjoyed the first episode as well! I'm wondering how they showered/used the bathroom because those bathrooms looked like public health hazards! I'm wondering before the house goes to auction, are they going to go in and finish the overly ambitious projects the teams started on?

Ric swears on his daughter's life that he's not Julian's boss. Julian swears on the lives of his son, daughter, and grandson. Does Alexis believe Julian over Ric because Julian swore on more heads? It's a shame that Ric didn't have more children! Or perhaps if Alexis just let Molly have sex like Ric said that it was her choice, perhaps there could also be an on the way grandchild on whose life that Ric could also swear on to help even up the numbers. Did it seem like Julian was about to fess up to Alexis that Ric really wasn't the boss but that he had to give a name when Liz knocked on the door?

The parts i liked today were Fluke and the Morgan/Oliva scenes. I can't believe I just said that. Still very angry.

But if you were Sonny, you'd just blame someone else and have them killed. Except for AJ's death which you will now continue to flail yourself with and wallow in your misery because it's ALL ABOUT YOU but you can't tell anyone why you're flailing yourself.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So many other angry sweary words in my head after watching today's episode and preview.

Scotty is getting to be a bit obsessive stalkerish. Or was he always like this?

I know! They had Emma on stage who could have talked about her mother, ROBIN, who had HIV and was one of the original reasons for the NB and yet, they go on and on and on about Sabrina with no mention of Emma's MOM?!?!?!?!?!

Did anyone else find the outfits the Haunted Stars were wearing to be a little weird? It kind of felt like they were throwing back to the 80s but not quite. It was tight and form fitting up top but then they all weirdly poofed out at the hips and it was not flattering on any of them and actually made them all look fat, and we all know none of them are fat.

But she also knows he'd miss so really, she has nothing to fear unless Sonny actually found a hitman who could hit the target.

If the crypt is rockin', don't come knockin'? I had to fast forward a lot of that. Sadly, it all still made impressions on my brain. I really wish Morgan could have uttered at least one "YOU BETRAYED ME!"

She seems to be in desperate need of unconditional love. She'd be better off with a puppy. And maybe a gigalo if she needs to get some action.
