Man, I really wish the famewhorgas blog was still active. I'm sure there's so much more crap to dig up on them and I'm here for every stinkin' minute of it. Joey is a little bitch boy -- Tre was dead on with that. Louie is definitely pulling the puppet strings with her - it's disturbing, but in the scene with Tre and Joey on the phone, he seemed somewhat genuine.
I forgot Papa Gorga visited Juicy in Italy. He'd rather have a felon for family than his spawn.

Actually I wish someone would come out and say Joe and Melissa could only get on camera and a check by filming that special because RHONJ wasn't filming without Teresa. Furthermore Teresa being on RHONJ and M/J using that to get on TV is the only reason they live how they do if they really wanna talk about who's responsible for who puts food on another families table. Teresa is why they have what they do even though they plotted behind her back to get on. Melissa was full of shit with 'Joey fell asleep ' and all. The girls are sick of the bs but Melissa will call them hateful to continue the Gorga victim story.
However, I'm sick of the same old crap in the family. All the pearl clutching and fake tears over the Chosen Family commitment (saying some people are chosen family doesn't take away from your other family members you care about.) Joe decided not to go. Melissa was there and acted like that excluded her. It's so lame. As is all the Love Bubble stuff. The feud is way past expired. I can't stand Joe Gorga the most, but he's who Andy is obsessed with so he's not going anywhere.
Danielle talking about bringing Tupperware was funny. I love her not taking Jackie's bs. Jackie's bruised ego is spiraling. I like Danielle and Rachel are getting along so far and just being newbies together. Marge running over to Jackie to demand to know why'd she have a shot with Jen was desperate and shows her entire story is butting in even when the women don't care. Jackie not caring about Jens snob comment and wanting a shot with her was her only decent moment so far.
Jen would get her son a limo affair or not, blaming Bill to justify it is dumb. But they seem good on IG, as do Jen and Dolores so who knows.
I still don't like Paulie. Dolores was ok with her weird relationship with frank before Paulie, now she's all about what he wants. His inability to be at a gathering if Frank is there is very immature.
+1000. Paulie is a quiet thug.

I got the sense that Gabriella actually wanted to call Melissa out -- if Gia could just shut up for a hot second, she might have had more to say.
I'm a little surprised that Melissa's mom and sisters weren't invited to the wedding, but I don't think I would have been quite as bent about it. Joe's just a punk imo and can't miss an opportunity to be the center of all the drama.

I just watched the episode and WWHL (which auto records - super annoying). Clearly Louie is in the process of isolating Teresa from her family -- his comments about Melissa are targeted and timed to keep them apart. He's a schemer and a con artist -- his responses to the questions about his job were vague and designed to move the conversation along to another topic.
He is gross.

Oh god, please not Heather. She is so plastic that she starts to melt in the sun if she stays out too long.

Kathy seems harmless too. However, if she said those horrible things about the rest of the cast, then she needs to apologize to them profusely and then walk away from this show. Her name & wealth will help protect her from whatever terrible things she said & did that night from coming to light.
Respectfully, if this is the standard, only Crystal and Garcelle would be left on the show. Come on now.

Maybe Portia or one of her kids can explain it to her — Kyle totally acts like a martyr and Kathy’s upset because she didn’t defend her against Rinna. What does Rinna have on Kyle?

Right after Lois died, Rinna tried to sell lipstick off of Lois’ name. Also, her grief sure didn’t keep her from that trip to Mexico, now did it?
I can't believe I'm gonna defend Rinna here, but the trip to Mexico after her mother's death didn't bother me so much. My dad passed away after being in hospice, and we went on a cruise with friends about 1 week after the last memorial service. It was nice to remove myself from the day-to-day thinking about my dad. I'll give her that -- also, sometimes you just don't "think" after a death, you just try to keep moving forward. I drove two hours to the airport after seeing my dad take his last breath because that when my flight was scheduled. I didn't lose my shit until I got to the gate.
I never, however, used my Dad's passing to scream at my family or friends. Crying at random moments, sure.

Well, at least we got Diana off the screen quickly. I also wish Garcelle could have pointed out that she said Diana “was” evil, talking about that particular incident, vs the generic “well you are [a c-word]” from Diana in response to something that happened when she wasn’t even on the show.
I didn’t say that most eloquently, but I hope you get my drift. I’m currently, “RecoveringLawyer recovering from surgery.” ;)

How did they all keep straight faces while watching Rinna’s “sobbing” at the Toothless Not Homeless thing? I think I was a better fake cryer at 10 years old!

So did Garcelle release the name behind the bots? I can't find anything.

Rinna just needs to go away. I'll be fast-forwarding through those parts of the show.

I think Erika is mixing something else with her meds. I've been on Lexapro with the Wellbutrin for about 4-5 years, (20 mg Lexapro, 300 WB) and don't get shitfaced with 2 drinks. 4 or 5 drinks, sure. But 2? Come on now. She's adding something else in there. I regularly have a glass of wine or two and it's no big deal. or champagne.

Was that supposed to be satire or was he totally serious? Either way, I was cringing with second hand embarrassment throughout that whole video.
What the absolute F? That was painful. I already hated Diana and now I hate Asher as well. Please make them go away.

But that is about it. I have to admit I was kind of surprised that most did not know and Erika was one of the ones who knew about a Rorschach test. But they all have grander lifestyles than me so they know more about some things than I do, certainly, to achieve that! lol It might be guile than more pure smarts and hard work.m, though. Looking at you Erika and Dorit!
I think Erika is a lot smarter than we give her credit for. She probably also has had to study up on things periodically when socializing with Tom's colleagues. The others, not so much.

This show about audiences reacting to things is pretty neat. Can’t help wondering what they’re looking at, though.
Well, I was shown in the audience reactions for Celia -- but we didn't see any of these acts at our taping!! I think we were reacting to a dance group that should be on a future show. They selected us from a different section of the theater and then moved us to the "Audience reaction zone" seats that were miked for about 3 or 4 acts. Then they put some other folks there.

The way Marge blew off her comment about Jennifer's kids and how they could go to therapy--"It fell flat" -- and then went all in on the bodyshaming comments was quite rich to me. She makes snarky comments all the time -- Jennifer's nose or lips anyone? . She should have stopped and truly apologized for the therapy comment. To be clear, I'm not a fan of any of these women currently - they all need to STFU.
I used to really like Marge but this season she was too much for me. And if someone could give the woman clothing that fits her appropriately and a decent hairdo, that would be helpful as well. She thinks she's so funny -- maybe compared the rest of the RHONJ crowd, but someone is always the butt of her jokes.
So weird -- I thought I typed "To be clear, I'm not a fan of any of these women currently - they all need to STFU." at the end of my post. Guess I wasn't paying attention. ;)

So, only people who live in the 5 boroughs are New Yorkers but everywhere else doesn’t matter for shit? Ok
Guess this Long Islander is not a New Yorker but a bougie princess. Got it. I’ll make sure to introduce myself that way to others, lest I offend a true “New Yorker”
PS. Gina is from the South Shore and her accent reflects that. Spoiled little rich girls are stereotypically from the North Shore. Like me.
I recognized that South Shore accent immediately as well. I'm from the middle (Dix Hills), but we have more than our share of spoiled little rich girls who don't sound quite so much like Gina. And f'ing a, Gina, if you can't handle an "F Gina", you are a wuss. John's comment was totally support for Shannon -- she's certainly said things like that to her friends before about other people.

I've only ever heard "put a pin in it" in terms of basically putting an idea on hold to revisit later. It's "corporate-speak". https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Put a pin in that

I truly wish these women could see what they've done with their faces and stop. It's horrifying.
And Heather is a nasty bitch - Shannon should tell her where to get off. She's needs to be overthrown.

Wow -- glad I didn't waste an hour watching this last night. Off to delete my recording. I cannot STAND Leah. The need to be the center of attention just highlights her insecurities. And Sonja, god, someone please go look through her purse and medicine cabinet. She cannot be taking only "water pills". She needs to go to detox.

She may or may not have put it off for 5 years. She just hasn’t had one for 5 years. It sounds as though she had a mammogram around age 45. Depending on results and family history her doctor may not have scheduled another one until now. Just as with all other medical advice - blood pressure, cholesterol, coffee, etc. - guidance seems to change from time to time. I believe that now the advice is to get one annually after 40 although age 50 was the recommendation for a long time,
I'm the same age as Delores, I think. I've been told to get one annually after 45 and I don't have a strong family history. She's been avoiding it, no doubt in my book.

My sister lived in Arlington for a bit,(now in Springfield for the last 20+ years), back then you could not even find a box of matzoh at the Giant...Rosh and Yom? What are we, on first name basis with the high holy days!?
Thankfully that's changed a little bit. The Giant on Washington Blvd has a decent selection; same for Safeway in Cherrydale. A Giant down in Bailey's Crossroads also used to be pretty good.

My mom’s family is Jewish and I’m also from New York and no one that I recall says them that way. I don’t use the terms that way IRL, but they flow off the tongue easier than they are to write. I was using shorthand, sort of the way some people say “Tre” for “Teresa” or the way some people say “immediate family” when they mean “family of origin.” 😃
BTW, I love your screen name. That’s a status I hope to attain someday.
It's an easily attainable name if you are cool with making 1/2 - 1/4 of what you currently make. I am in law school higher ed now. Career counseling.

S13.E04: Housewarming History Lesson
in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
Exactly. Joey's trying to re-write history now that his parents are gone and Juicy's out of the picture. We all saw the bullshit he pulled at the Christening and in the Catskills, and the nasty words he used to describe his sister then. He did act like a little "bitch boy" and I cannot imagine any Italian NY or NJ man getting so worked up like he does. Like Frank, sure. But Little Gorga? No f'ing way.
And to be clear, getting worked up about his supposed hurt feelings, not actual slights -- I can totally see half my relatives threatening to f someone up if they said something nasty about their wives/sisters/daughters, but about their own feelings? Gimma a fuckin break.
