Sutton gave an interview where she mentioned that the doctors at the hospital said she suffered from exhaustion and dehydration. This is a little too general. It was not heat stroke. The reunion was filmed in January in Los Angeles. I was in Orange County which is south of LA in December, and it was nice during the day (I was wearing light winter clothes), and cold at night.

I wonder if Crystal was affected by driving fast on an elevation and the tight turns of the mountain in Spain, especially if she was looking on the side and not straight up front. It seemed from what she said that she knew about her high blood pressure issues.

I still suspect that Sutton was not feeling too well overall, but she used it as an excuse that second to leave and avoid talking to Kathy. She had a shocked expression on her face when Andy Cohen announced that Kathy was coming out.

This insinuation is so far off the mark.  Two years ago, my daughter had a grand mal seizure at school -- 7 minutes long..  After extensive testing, the only possible diagnosis was that she was POTS-adjacent.  (Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome).   A year later, after random episodes of fainting or almost fainting -- some heat related, some not, some possibly stress related, she was diagnosed with mild POTS. My mother almost passes out fairly frequently -- she's thin and that's it.  Lots of things can cause someone to pass out.  If Sutton hadn't eaten or had enough water, that would immediately mess my daughter up - and me too, and I don't have any of those issues.  (no POTS, not thin, etc.)

If Sutton has neuropathy, she likely has underlying circulation issues. That can easily cause someone to almost pass out.  Plus all of the other things?

    Come on now.

  2. The thing that I keep coming back to regarding Garcelle and Erica vs Garcelle and Dorit, is that when Erica apologizes, she seems to absorb that and move on.  She doesn’t try to rewrite history and justify the behavior.  Dorit and Kyle constantly backtrack on apologies.  Erica has more EQ than we give her credit for sometimes.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not cheering Erica on here, but I do think she understands how apologies are supposed to work.

That's not to take away from whatever she's doing with the organization, fundraising is critical; and she does have a law degree, although I don't know if it's criminal law.

Slightly o/t: Law degrees are not typically specialized, although sometimes people will get LLMs to specialize (usually tax law, IP.). She can absolutely practice criminal law, even though if memory serves, she used to do mostly family law.

  4. It's so weird - I can't imagine calling my brother and his wife to tell them about a cheating rumor.  I'd call him alone and let him deal with it.   Nor could I see my SIL calling DH and I together about a rumor.  It would absolutely be a private conversation between brother and sister.  If there's nothing going on, then so be it.

  5. I think that Frank Jr. probably had a small issue with Luis -- maybe the door was locked one day like Froid (Frank Roid) said and he couldn't immediately get a hold of L.  Clearly Jr. has decided that it's best for his career to act like a professional and not carry on like Froid -- Jr has a new job and is doing well.  Guess he takes after his momma.   Froid has latched on to that like it's the holy grail.

  6. I already want to reach through the screen and strangle Marge.  She's the worst.  She knows what she's doing when she winds up BB and the ho, and they are too dumb to realize she's doing it for entertainment purposes.   Her "loco" sign when T went off-stage was another desperate attempt to get camera time.

I feel like…and maybe it’s just me (is it? IDK) but I can’t think of anyone in my own life who would get too pressed about these allegations. Okay, so I’m at a party, and you tell me you heard from some rando that I was hooking up with a guy in the back of a car. I don’t give a shit. Is that weird? Even if it were aired on television, I wouldn’t waste a good tantrum on it. Who CARES? If it isn’t true, if there’s no evidence, no name, photo, corroborating person - it doesn’t matter. So this must be what someone thinks is good TV, but we all seem to agree that we’re also, like Melissa, like Teresa, DONE. It’s boring, and it makes no sense. Come up with better dirt, show.

Exactly!  I'd probably laugh and call DH over to laugh about it with me.  Is that really all the dirt?  And I totally agree with whoever said earlier that Melissa and Ratface were intentionally poking Danielle about Ireland.

In the car, Teresa says the wedding was six days away, which means the shower was Sunday, July 31st. The dinner Louie planned was actually the cast finale party on Thursday, August 4th.  Initial rumors were that's when the shit hit the fan and Gorgas decided to skip the wedding. However, it's apparent now that they really decided that much earlier and based their entire story line around being hurt victims of terrible Teresa.

While I still think Joey is a little jealous bitch boy and the root of the problem, I couldn't help but notice Melissa lying about what happened in Ireland, acting like she was so emotional and Teresa couldn't be bothered when that's not what happened.

I don't see shadiness with Louie's changing behavior toward the Gorgas. I see it as he tried, they turned down every invite/olive branch, he finally got frustrated & gave up and is now in protect Teresa mode. The girls are already upset with their aunt/uncle for repeatedly publicly trashing their Mom & Dad. Joe Gorga skipped Teresa's birthday, the housewarming, he refused to talk to her directly about the wedding stuff (calling Gia then complaining that his she was involved) The Gorgas have also seemingly kept the cousins apart with the skipping family events. Frankly, I still don't understand what Teresa supposedly did that they're using as rationale for being so hurt.  Live her life without them???

Exactly.  Clearly they had already decided they weren't going to the wedding, and Teresa and Louie knew that and were just keeping up a front for the show.  Probably also why Gia gave Mel a "meh" greeting at the shower --- she knew Mel was just there to further a fake storyline as if she was going to the wedding.  Probably also why Mel didn't bring Antonia to the shower -- that would have been super awkward for a teenager.

  9. I would have liked Tre's and Dolo's dresses so much more if the middle wasn't sheer.  They could still have had it sheer from like mid-thigh down and it would look so much better.

Fuda looks like a Frankenstein Belle, although I kind of like it.

Mel and Jen A look matronly in those dresses.  Very mother of the bride.

Jen F needs another round of fittings.

Jackie just looks meh, basically what I expect of her.

Marge's look is better than I would have expected, although I also hate the bun on top of her head.  The Ozempic makes her look even older.

Totally forgot, Danielle definitely looks ready to throw down for the crown.

  10. Joey Gorga is a bitch boy.  Truer words were never spoken.  (Teresa shouldn't have agreed with them, but I get it.)

Melissa is a failed singer, actress, and business woman, married to a con artist extraordinaire.  She needs Teresa to be relevant.

    Looey is creepy.

Marge needs to get the F off my screen with her hypocrisy.  She DOES have an arsenal of shit on everyone and being warned that it's better to have her as a friend than enemy matches up with her freakin' tag line.

The Fudas are a waste of airtime.

Give me more Danielle.  I want her to go all Staten Island on these fake bitches and set them straight, starting with Jackie, super try-hard with no storyline and horrible fashion sense.

What to do with the Jens and Dolores?  I honestly don't care about any of them anymore.

Frank is a one-trick pony and the show ended last year.

  11. WAY O/T

Going way o/t, but California is the only state that regulates paralegals. UT and WA have some other provisions for the limited practice of law where paralegals can legally do more than most paralegals.  I was in DC, and have practiced in NY, DC, VA, MD, and NC -- no one had any rules about paralegals.

    https://www.americanbar.org/groups/paralegals/profession-information/educational-information-for-paralegals/

Also, i meant to type that law students who had worked at places as undergrads had called themselves interns.  Once in law school, it's a free-for-all as to "intern, legal intern, law clerk, etc."  After graduation, if they are a law clerk, it's typical a judicial clerkship, although some government agencies also call baby lawyers "law clerks."

The norm is that "interns" are law students on their way to becoming an attorney. Gia's job title was no doubt made up specially for her - as she's the only one with that designation at that firm - & it doesn't match the typical use of "intern" at the typical law firm.  In fact, she's not an attorney, not an intern/law student, not a paralegal (typically trained & certified), not an intake clerk, or like any of the others at that firm.  Mostly a paper-shuffling practice.  She's hired on at a one-attorney firm who employs dozens & dozens of helpers at her immigration mill in Texas.

And that picture, yikes! Dressed all in pink with at least one of them all boobs-out!  Not your typical professional look.  Looking professional doesn't mean looking like the world's oldest profession!

What'll Gia do there? Fetch coffee, watch or 'help" the others. The main attorney will use her for publicity & maybe try to get Joe Guidice back to America. (Doubtful it can be done, but who knows?)

Wow -- so much judgment here.  As my name indicates, I am a recovering lawyer, who now works with law students seeking employment.

    1.  Titles are free.  Employers choose what to call their interns, paralegals, legal assistants, law clerks, etc.  And truly "law clerk" is the one that is generally reserved for law students, not "intern".  I've worked with 100s of law students who interned at various legal offices (firms, prosecutors, judges) and are listed on their resume as "interns".

    2.  Paralegals are not "typically trained and certified."  That is true only for some jurisdictions.  For the most part, paralegal certificate programs are money-printing machines for universities.  Do they give you skills that you wouldn't automatically have?  Yes.  Can you be hired as a paralegal without one?  Absolutely.  I was a paralegal right after college for two years and didn't have any certifications.  I was one of 15 paralegals at the firm and only 1 had a certificate.  Most of us were there bridging the gap between undergrad and law school.  That's often, but not always, the way the job gets filled. Government agencies have "paralegal specialist" positions, but even those don't require a special training or certification.  Most people learn that on the job.  You just have to be somewhat intelligent.

    3.  I don't like the pink short blazer dresses for the whole staff, and I think that one girl needs a tank underneath, but seriously?  This is what we are commenting on in 2023? They can wear whatever the f they want to.  If you don't like it, don't hire them.  I bet they are doing pretty well for themselves.

    4.  What will Gia do?  Who knows.  Yes, she may get coffee (if she's there in person) or "watch/help" -- that is how people learn.  She'll probably fill out forms (using older forms as go-bys), watch hearings and client meetings, etc.  That's all anyone expects an undergrad intern to do!

Also, I've seen plenty of smaller firms that have staff pictures on the website.  The other extreme is just the name partner's picture.  There aren't rules on that!

Aww, poor little Joey's feelings are hurt because his sister didn't invite his in-laws to wedding?  Emphasis on HER wedding, not Joey's wedding and Melissa's family who's been nothing but nasty to Teresa for years now. So because his feelings are hurt he decides to continually trash talk his sister, her fiance and his nieces, skip her 50th birthday trip, housewarming party and wedding. Yet, that's her fault somehow?

How exactly has Teresa treated him that's so bad?  Called him out for acting like a bitch boy when he was indeed acting like a bitch boy?  He's said way worse about her on so many occasions.

Joey needs to grow the fuck up and realize the world doesn't revolve around him and his feelings. Then again, I don't actually believe that he's hurt. I think he's just using that as an excuse to continue feuding with Teresa for a storyline. She could bend over backwards catering to his enormous ego and he'd still find something to complain about because that's the only thing keeping the housewives money coming in.

The way he treated his parents when they were alive tells me all I need to know about how he actually views family.

Exactly.  Joey's trying to re-write history now that his parents are gone and Juicy's out of the picture.  We all saw the bullshit he pulled at the Christening and in the Catskills, and the nasty words he used to describe his sister then.  He did act like a little "bitch boy" and I cannot imagine any Italian NY or NJ man getting so worked up like he does.  Like Frank, sure.  But Little Gorga?  No f'ing way.

And to be clear, getting worked up about his supposed hurt feelings, not actual slights -- I can totally see half my relatives threatening to f someone up if they said something nasty about their wives/sisters/daughters, but about their own feelings?  Gimma a fuckin break.

  14. Man, I really wish the famewhorgas blog was still active.  I'm sure there's so much more crap to dig up on them and I'm here for every stinkin' minute of it.   Joey is a little bitch boy -- Tre was dead on with that.  Louie is definitely pulling the puppet strings with her - it's disturbing, but in the scene with Tre and Joey on the phone, he seemed somewhat genuine.

I forgot Papa Gorga visited Juicy in Italy.  He'd rather have a felon for family than his spawn.

Melissa involved the Giudice girls in the conversation when she talked about them on the podcast and they have a right to have feelings about that and speak. Actually I wish someone would come out and say Joe and Melissa could only get on camera and a check by filming that special because RHONJ wasn't filming without Teresa. Furthermore Teresa being on RHONJ and M/J using that to get on TV is the only reason they live how they do if they really wanna talk about who's responsible for who puts food on another families table. Teresa is why they have what they do even though they plotted behind her back to get on. Melissa was full of shit with 'Joey fell asleep ' and all. The girls are sick of the bs but Melissa will call them hateful to continue the Gorga victim story.

However, I'm sick of the same old crap in the family. All the pearl clutching and fake tears over the Chosen Family commitment (saying some people are chosen family doesn't take away from your other family members you care about.) Joe decided not to go. Melissa was there and acted like that excluded her. It's so lame. As is all the Love Bubble stuff. The feud is way past expired. I can't stand Joe Gorga the most, but he's who Andy is obsessed with so he's not going anywhere.

Danielle talking about bringing Tupperware was funny. I love her not taking Jackie's bs. Jackie's bruised ego is spiraling. I like Danielle and Rachel are getting along so far and just being newbies together. Marge running over to Jackie to demand to know why'd she have a shot with Jen was desperate and shows her entire story is butting in even when the women don't care. Jackie not caring about Jens snob comment and wanting a shot with her was her only decent moment so far.

Jen would get her son a limo affair or not, blaming Bill to justify it is dumb. But they seem good on IG, as do Jen and Dolores so who knows.

I still don't like Paulie. Dolores was ok with her weird relationship with frank before Paulie, now she's all about what he wants. His inability to be at a gathering if Frank is there is very immature.

+1000.  Paulie is a quiet thug.
