I have watched last night's episode 4 times. Lol. I keep rewinding Hannah's solo and Charms reaction was priceless.

My theory as to why they cut Julia is that Charlotte expressed her dislike during finals so she probably didn't have a chance. I couldn't make out exactly what she said about Juilia but it was negative. Did anyone else hear what she said during deliberations?

Oh no, she was upset. But tbh, she came back with straggly hair, bad makeup, bad costume and no improvement from last year.
Lolol..Charm didn't seem impressed at all with Maddies solo.

The look was during deliberations. Wait I didn't see Natalie was she on last night's episode?

A few comments pages back it was said that Kat only made it because of her looks. Even if that's true she isn't the 1st DCC nor will she be the last that has made it into camp because of her looks. I'm a Kat fan but to refresh memories I've listed a couple that I felt couldn't dance well at all but it was overlooked because they are gorgeous
Abigail Klein and Kelsey Lo. I'm sure some want to throw something at me but I stand by my opinion.. They couldn't dance.

Reasons it is a big deal to me:
1. They have taken girls in with bigger weight issues than Gabby and they have been able to become Group Leaders/Points.
2. Mentally you can damage a person's psyche. Need I mention Courtney who had to leave the squad because of an eating disorder. Im pretty sure a lot of the girls have some sort of mental anguish now from being on this team and it needs to be brought up. That crazy Chelsea girl was right that sometimes I think the judging is out of line..I've seen these girls in person multiple times. They are Kate Moss skinny sometimes it looks painful.
3. Not to bring of diversity/racial issues, but it does seem like the white get passes when it comes to belly giggles and it just frustrates me so much.
Now I understand it's their job to stay in shape and had Gabby been like that girl Katy I would have been ok with her cut, but to me the wiggle she had was something that could be fixed before season. She wasn't fat in the least bit.
ex. of girls with similar or more wiggle jiggle that went through Finals and TC looking like this and still made the team... I mean come on now....
THIS!!! 1000% agree. Also, idk the girls name that tried out at finals but didn't make it but she was a light skinned African American girl with curly hair..actually there were 2 with curly hair one a bit darker than the other, anyway they were adorable but both got cut. I would really like to know why.
Also please tell me that I was not the only one that not8ced the exchanged look between Melissa and Charm when they were discussing Malena.

I loved loved KATY. She can dance. But it's no surprise that they cut her for weight. Interesting to me that when Daphne was on the same team as KATY in college she was bigger (not fat) in size as well. I hope she comes back next year and makes it all the way.

Yes!! I've been a fan of Rachel A since her rookie audition, and I've always felt she gets overlooked a bit--I even overlooked her on my list (my bad!). I think she has been getting more spotlight as she enters year 3, which I am pleased to see. She made Show Group, has gotten some good calendar features, and she's been selected for some of the promo videos (like with Bradie James). I was hoping she'd be a 2nd leader this year, and if she sticks around for another year, I will keep hoping for that. She was a captain of a national championship college dance team, so she has both serious dance skills and leadership experience. Her weight has been a bit of an issue with her, I think, with TPTB, but given Miranda has been in the same boat and isn't (in my opinion) as good a dancer or as pretty and still got 2nd leader, I still wonder how/why they overlooked Rachel A for a leadership position this year. Love her shorter haircut!
I love Rachel A. too and that short hair cut on her is fierce. I think it's exactly what she needed to not blend with all the other brunettes.
If a veteran wants to change their hair do they have to get permission from K&J?

Also, why in the hell would you sing at auditions for a dancing job?? Did u hear Kelli' s joke about how her vocal cords were moving..lmao. I took that to mean she isn't a good singer. Smdh

EXACTLY. I also think that they needed to take the focus off of VK so they found a fall guy named Kat. K&J picked a few struggles for TC...not just Kat. IMO based on TRYOUTS they shouldnt of taken Gina, Alexandria or Kat (and I'm a Kat fan), however Kat almost lost me last night.

Umm am I delirious or did Maddies solo seem just like the one she did last year. I honestly don't think her version of hip hop is hip hop at all lololol. Everyone is so impressed but Charm Cleary was NOT. I mean she practically moonwalked from side to side and did a couple of flips. Sorry I was not a fan of her solo.
Maddie does have a swag in the way she carries herself which in that world full of technically trained dancers I'm sure seems "cool" as Melissa said it. Lol

Another user explained being the mean girl, I can relate to growing out of that idea of being a "bad bitch" and hurting others. That is why I hope VK will not fall into I am a DCC now and a Legacy imma say/do whatever I want and hurt others. She doesn't seem like that to me just youthful. #positivevibes hahaha
I've said this way up stream about VK myself, she may fall out of her turns but she can dance circles around the train wreck of a non-dancer that is Cassie T. IMO

Agreed. Charm has to work with what was given and if she needed a so called hip hop person, Maddie is all she had. Again as I stated earlier, Maddie does have a certain swag in the way she carries herself and you can't give a person that so it made her the only choice. Charm can probably work with her and help her be better at hip hop... I hope. I still stand by the fact her solo was terrible.
