  1. They had a pillow talk scene in a season 1 episode. It looked a bit weird as it was in the opening of the episode but was a cute scene also.
  2. The description by the CBS also used the same “overparenting” term too. 😶
  3. I was expecting more arguing between Mary and George, as it was written in the plot outline as a second plot but we’ve seen them arguing in one (maybe 2?) scene. Seeing Mary as training wheels was creepy too, that dream scene was weird.
  4. Well, a great episode. It wasn’t the intended season finale but seemed like a one. I was already guessing that Sheldon would end up in East Texas Tech, so that decision wasn’t a surprise for me. Meemaw & Georgie make a great team, the last scene was great. Although, I want to see more of Mary & George’s relationship in the next season. Her parents’ dynamics is one of the things that shaped Sheldon, so I think we must see it more. Let’s hope that everything goes back to normal soon and we can watch the new season on September...
  5. I've heard that their set was shut down when they were filming the last episode (episode 22), so season 3 will be 21 episodes. It's confirmed by Lance Barber's mom in Facebook.
  6. Well finally they've created an excuse for Pastor Jeff to appear more in the episodes. Matt Hobby has been promoted to the regular cast in the beginning of the season 3 but yet we've seen him less than Dr. Sturgis or Dale. Although the Missy's storyline was great, I think it was a medium episode, not bad but not good either.
  7. Jason Alexander will return for an episode.
  8. When I watch the show with my family in Turkey, we do it on commercial breaks, because they’re almost always longer than 20 minutes, with trailers of upcoming shows. And guess the length of the TV shows: almost 3 hours! 10 YS episodes are equal to 1 Turkish TV show, true story. I guess the episodes have the mean length of 18 minutes, the longest was the Thanksgiving episode of last season was 21 minutes, if I remember correct. I wouldn’t say no to a 3 hour long YS, but not every week, it would be too much. 😂Wish they made 22 minutes long at least...
  9. There’s a recent interview with show’s producer here: https://tvline.com/2020/02/20/young-sheldon-recap-season-3-episode-16-big-bang-cafeteria-video/ I got the impression that George’s cheating story would turn into something Sheldon remembers in his own way or just won’t tell to the audience. But who knows... 🙄
  10. One of the best episode of the whole series. Enjoyed every moment, but I would love to see the cutted scene with Missy and Meemaw. I hope they’ll put these scenes in the season 3 DVD as extra, they didn’t have anything in the season 2 DVD, just episodes. For a moment, I thought Sheldon would really get off the plane, I’m glad it didn’t happen and they got to see Caltech. George made a great job as a parent. The ending scene was perfect. Mary also did a good job in her speech to Georgie. I’m also glad that didn’t turn into a religious speech. Also I love to learn about Mary and George’s past. I really cracked up when Mary said “I’m a cool and fun mom” and George tried not to burst with laughter. 😂
  11. Wow, that girl was rude to Mary. Even she was right in her own cause, it’s not the way that you treat someone hosts you in her house. June was a fun addition in the episode, I’m glad that they got along with Meemaw. And Young Georgie & the whole family dressed up as the characters of The Wizard of Oz ❤️ I hope we can see more flashbacks in the future episodes.
  12. I don't know if this is the right topic for this, but a few days ago I was watching S02 E14 and noticed something: Meemaw is showing Mary's youth pictures to Missy from her high school yearbook and when she closed it, the "Medford High School '72" writing in the cover is visible. So Mary was born in 1954, I think. As the adult characters's ages are not very clear in the show, I think it gives us a hint about Mary's age (36 in 1990, which is also Zoe Perry's real age now), and I wanted it to share it with you. You can see the ss of the scene here: https://imgur.com/a/plKAOfS
  13. It was a sweet episode, especially the scenes when Connie was talking with her husband’s grave. Also I think it’s the first time that his real name was mentioned and he died relatively young (at age 59, as the info on the grave says so). I was expecting more from the game challenge scenes but they were fun anyway. 20 minutes is not enough for me every week! 😅
  14. Reba McEntire will be guest starring in an upcoming episode of the show. She'll portray Coach Ballard's ex-wife.
  15. I think this episode was way more funnier than the previous one. Great return, Young Sheldon. Also I think this episode made some viewers feel some sympathy for Mary too and I'm glad that the writers finally gave her some credit (at least they tried). Poor woman, she got to marry in a city hall trying to hiding her pregnancy and never got the chance to plan her wedding. She didn't have the chance to wear a wedding dress. When she was looking at that dress in the store, for a moment I thought that she was going to try it or secretly buy it. I love episodes when all the characters have their moments: Sheldon with the Star Trek episode, Meemaw & George trying to handle situations, Georgie with his friend, Georgie & George with "that talk", Missy trying to rescue the chicken, Mary planning Pastor Jeff's wedding...
