I understand people not liking this episode, and season, but I think the writers are getting too much blame. To me George RR basically told them how he planned to end it and peaced out to focus on the prequels (not the books). So they’ve essentialled had to work without his guidance. While D&D do deserve blame....so does Martin. He shouldn’t get off scot free. And no one should be surprised by Danys decent....it’s been foreshadowed since season one.
