I'm a psychotherapist and stumbled upon this show recently. I thought the initial concept was appalling, but I find the show very interesting in that it is a very accurate portrayal of what people will do to find "love", a place of comfort for themselves with another. I don't see anything different, or as extreme as I have seen walking into my office over the past 15 years. That said, I do find the match of Luke and Kate disturbing, as he functions with an undercurrent of both homosexual and sociopathic behaviors whenever he is on camera. I'm not sure what expertise the hosts of the show have, but I hope that they do not let this pair tread too far as I think it could be devastating for Kate. She is a lovely person who lacks self-esteem, but will grow in confidence if she can avoid poor matches like this one. Someone throw her a lifeline!
