If you watch the very first season 1 first episode of Life Below Zero, you can see and hear Chip Hailstone verbally abusing his wife Agnes. He is cussing at her and berating her for not launching or getting out of the boat the correct way! Just hearing how he was yelling at her, you could tell that he is an abuser! I have a feeling that Agnes is very scared of him and will not ever talk back to him for fear of being verbally and physically abused. Which after hearing him berate her, I’m sure he has done when the cameras aren’t rolling. He tries to “act” like he’s this perfect father who knows everything, when in fact he’s just a know it all coward, who gets off bossing his wife and kids around! This is just my opinion of Chip Hailstone but I think I’m right on the money about him!!!
