If she had been retained, I would have been afraid of her completely losing her temper and maybe physically going after a co-host, crew member or even someone in the audience. She's shown her lack of impulse control and I think that's one of the reasons why she wasn't invited back.

So, was it just Whoopi, Joy, Sara and Sunny today and guest hosts start tomorrow? It'll be interesting to see Star on Friday.

Given her quick move to far right views once she left I shudder to think of what would have happened had she stayed.  I’m guessing TPTB knew where she was headed and said that was it for her.

The most bizarre and nonsensical thing that came out of Ramona’s mouth was her claim that she wished she was born Jewish and was very upset that she wasn’t.  WTF?   After she said someone wanted her to convert before marriage and she ended because he had poor manners and didn’t say thank you.   She’s lost her mind.

If her parents were born Jewish, Ramona probably wouldn’t  even be here. Her parents were probably born around the start of WW2.  Her mother was born in Hungary where Jews were murdered during the Holocaust and her father in Ukraine where Jews were also slaughtered.  Ramona could have discussed her parents emigrating from Eastern Europe and maybe what they witnessed with Jews being rounded up and how scary it must have been.  But no, it had to be about her.  She is so ignorant and narcissistic.

I didn’t believe a word she said about wanting to be Jewish and being asked to convert.  She could have talked about that, but it wouldn’t fit her narrative.  And since her parents weren’t Jewish in those countries, it’s just as likely they hated Jews as well.  I’d like to see her gone.

Is she really doing her conversion through an Orthodox Rabbi? I converted 40 years ago and it was done through a Conservative Rabbi...it is very hard to find an Orthodox Rabbi to do such a conversion...they generally do not want to do conversions. Frankly, I find her "conversion" to be a tad half hearted. What changes has she made to her life other than singing a prayer and reading transliterated passages from the Torah? If she is indeed going to be an Orthodox Jew then why is she wearing clothing in her interviews that reveal her breasts? Orthodox women cover their heads and dress modestly. Is she going to Shabbat services in an Orthodox temple? Women are separated from the men in an Orthodox temple. Is she keeping Kosher at home? That is required in an Orthodox home. I highly doubt that Leah would be able to maintain an Orthodox lifestyle and I daresay there would be little to no gestures of friendship offered to her from the women in an Orthodox congregation. She's a phony and honestly, I think she came up with this Jewish "conversion" thing as a storyline for this season. If she goes to the Mikvah as part of her final acceptance into Judiasm, then I will take her seriously. I went to the Mikvah, with my two year old son at the time, for the final ritual for conversion...an Orthodox woman ran the Mikvah and over saw the ceremony.

Totally agree with you.  I too did my conversion about 45 years ago (in NYC).  I did both a reform and conservative ceremony so i also went to the mikvah.  I would be really surprised if she is doing an orthodox conversion and hasn’t made any changes yet.  I’ll also be surprised if she goes through with it at all.  Also it sounded like she has been        ”studying” for awhile.  I’d think she’d be doing Shabbat every week (I did for a reform conversion) and would know the prayer by now?

So many, many unanswered questions in this episode!

Why does the Shabbat house woman keep her ceramics in oversized hampster cages?

What does this mean:  Sonja:  "Eboni and me are both introverts."  (Hmmmm...  I kinda don't think many INFPs end up on reality TV.)

I find Leah's breasts in her talking heads really distracting.  Like they're Barbie Doll breasts.  I mean—the top is cut low enough so you should see nipples.  But there aren't any nipples.  Does Leah have nipples?

What "important work" is Eboni doing here, Leah?  Besides grooming herself for the next Jewish hedge fund manager?

Not a big Ramona fan, but I suspect as the daughter of eastern European immigrants growing up in whiter-than-snow Rhinebeck (I live 10 miles away from Rhinebeck, so I know), she's had experience with feeling marginalized.

Also, Leah screeching, "It's not about white people—"  Huh!  I'm Jewish!  Didn't realize I wasn't white!  Not that I care much.  (I am Sephartic, so maybe I should have suspected....  😊)

And then there's Shabbat House Lady:  "I can go appologize for the Jews."  Are you kidding me?  😛😛😛😛😛😀😀😀😀😀😀Hilarious!

Added bonus points: 😊LUVVED😊  the smirks from the actual Black people at "Black Shabbat."  Who doesn't want to hear about Ramona's urinary habits?  I can't wait to find out how they respond next week to Sonja peeing in Shabbat House Lady's driveway!

All in all, one of the best episodes of RHONY in a very tired season.

Leah’s boobs have fascinated me each time.  She has a uni boob (basically a bad boob job where there’s not enough space between the boobs)…they talk about them all the time on Botched.  She needs to get that fixed.

I watched again this morning for the second time.  That whole Shebat dinner was staged against Ramona.  It was Leah that caused the whole commotion by constantly telling them on a cell phone no less to move the phone closer, higher, she couldn’t see the candles, she couldn’t hear what they were saying, she was fading out, etc., etc.  They all were attacking Ramona every which way, and it was very obvious.  I would have gotten up and left too.  Ebony was attacking Ramona, so was dear Sonja, the phony pretend friend.  Leah should have stayed home and not called in, but we all know she HAS to have the floor at all times even when she is not there.  She is the Number one sneaky, backstabbing person in the whole group and should be fired.  Leah desparatly wants that apple at all costs as the end is near and she’s pulling out all the stops.  Ramona is a veteran and knows all the ropes.

Leah was annoying, no question.   But whatever she did it didn’t cause Ramona to whine about how Jewish kids didn’t like her in college and she cried herself to sleep and wanted to be Jewish????  I didn’t believe a word of it…she thinks that equates with racism and anti semitism? Andy had to make everything about her?  She’s beyond tone deaf…she’s basically a racist.

There is no way Luann would go to Delancey street and eat Jewish deli. These ladies rarely leave their east side bubble, and would consider that slumming.

I’m Jewish and lived in NYC for a couple of years…you can’t really go into a deli or bakery without encountering challah and when I was there every deli and restaurant offered matzoh during passover instead of bread, etc.   With so many Jewish folks on the upper east side, they can’t be that dumb even in their little bubble.  If they are, then they’re worse that I thought.

Leah didn’t make Ramona tell her crazy self centered story of woe that Jews don’t like her or make her be a rude ass guest, she has demonstrated for a decade plus she is a horrible guest and a self-centered asshole.

Not to mention her racist tendencies and inability to take responsibility for anything.  For me this season she’s gone over the edge.  I used to be able to laugh at her antics but she’s started showing her true colors (ha ha) this season.  I’m basically done with her.  Also, it’s one thing to do this, stuff amongst themselves but to act like this at a strangers home…as a guest for a religious observance??  Just no.

Clay Aiken and Kathy Griffin buried the hatchet years ago.  Her jokes were all before 2008 when he came out.  Kathy even hosted a fundraiser for Clay's campaign in 2014 when he ran for Congress. Why is Meghan bringing all this up?  It makes it look like Clay is holding a grudge against Kathy.

Why you ask?  Because, as we all know, every topic has to have something to do with her.  In the KG discussion she managed to being in Clay as well as referencing her own family’s experience with cancer and addiction.

Yep. The reason Tucker Carlson and Laua Ingram are disrespecting the officers by mocking their experience is because of the Defund the Police movement by the left. The movement is so powerful it was able to turn the Back The Blue crowd into the Fuck the Police crowd. That is some powerful shit.

Just once I’d like to see her actually answer the question when it’s going to look bad for her tribe…but no, yet again she avoided the actual discussion to turn it into the define the police and blame democrats yet again.  She could have just said it was a bad look for the republicans and their blue lives matter rhetoric but she just couldn’t do it.  Of course saying that it wouldn’t have been enough words or taken up enough time for her “segment”.

    6 hours ago, TheGreenKnight said:

Yeah, Whoopi was right to say DefundthePolice had nothing to do with anything that they were talking about. That was such a random deflect.

Did Sunny only advertise two books yesterday for those who got to see the show? I thought Whoopi advertised more than two on Monday, but I sort of zoned out because I'm not crazy about Whoopi. It's a shame they're not doing their usual 4-5 books per lady then. But I suppose it's lucky that they're doing it at all with the show being remote like this.

Yeah.  When Whoopie is on point and on top of things she can truly bring it to the discussion.  Before Meghan quit I’m not sure Whoopie would have so blatantly contradicted the Princess.

Thank you! She kept saying everything was confusing...mixed messaging...blah blah blah. But all of the medical experts and scientists that have been on the show have been very clear. Just because you are fully vaccinated doesn't mean you cannot get sick. And it may not protect from the now several variants out there. They said to continue being cautious. And she now has this moment of clarity saying this raises questions about the efficacy of the vaccines. She is the Misinformer in Chief. No wonder the WH is not banging down her door to ask for her help.

It's something she does regularly with impunity or correction.  The new conservative better be someone who deals in actual facts (though it might be hard finding one) and who is the opposite of Meghan in terms of cooperating with co-hosts.

I will say this: I do think it sucks that she won’t get to say goodbye to the others in person.

I'm sure that if she and the other hosts want to have a little get together to say goodbye in person, they can do that.  Personally I'm glad they're not in the studio for this.  if they were then there'd be a cake and a whole bunch of meaningless talk and hoopla about her leaving.  This way it was clean and quicker.

I agree. I thought it was clear that the "no family, no friends" policy was meant to reduce the number of people entering the country who might carry the virus. The whole discussion seemed to revolve around workplace accommodations for breastfeeding moms. As it happens the policy for the Olympics was reversed, so this "hot topic" is now moot.

Exactly.  They went into overdrive on the topic as if this was specifically against breastfeeding and moms.  But it was all part of the no family/outsiders rules put in place because we are still in a pandemic!  And from what I read there were fewer than 10 athletes from everywhere affected.  And, as you noted, they’ve now made an exception.  Though I’m not sure I’d want to bring a  young baby there and have them exposed anyway.  That said, they are right that overall there is and issue with providing breastfeeding employees with appropriate time and place.

The reason she went full-throated attack on Vogue is because she automatically attacks anything she perceives as liberal. She does the same thing with any actor (whether she knows their personal politics are not). I did notice she talked about how the First Family is like American "royalty." That makes sense considering her flag worship yesterday, but I thought she hated the British royalty (somethingsomething about Meghan Markle finishing George Washington's war on the British, lol)? I suppose that explains part of her ego, too, since she sees her family as part of the American royalty (which includes her as Princess of Arizona), nevermind the fact that her family never made it to the White House.

Yeah, wasn't the Right really upset that Melania didn't get a cover when Michele Obama did?  I'm sure that's Princess's thinking here and why she hates them.

I’m a little concerned about Whoopie because when she had life threatening pneumonia they played it down until they couldn’t anymore.  I’ve known plenty of people with sciatica who had no choice but to work through it in their workplaces.  Whoopie  only has to work from her own home for an hour.  It’s beginning not to make much sense.

It depends.  I’ve had it and could function.  My husband had it and literally could not stand up straight or sit. When we went to the ER he had to basically lie down and then couldn’t walk.  So if it’s severe, she likely can’t sit for an hour or two.  He was miserable for a few weeks even with the drugs.

I laughed, personally. It looked like nearly everyone on the show did, too, and I don't think they were faking it just to make her feel better. Sometimes things make you laugh involuntarily.

I think her end on The View is coming, too, simply because she's getting up there in age. I'd like McCain to be gone so she can have a year or two on this show without that asshole there before she retires.

I think she looked more annoyed at being made to apologize partly because it sounded like a producer or something off-camera was telling her to do so. They were probably trying to get ahead of the tantrum McCain was going to throw offscreen. I imagine McCain looks for any reason to call up ABC over the other ladies to try to make sure they're in "equal" trouble to her. It's just like the joke about Trump's pants a week or two ago and how McCain jumped in to sneer at her that "We're not supposed to say that." Joy said the censors hadn't spoken to her at all and she had no idea what McCain was talking about. I took that whole interaction as 1.) McCain has been talked to about misinformation and salacious language she's spewed on the show by censors at some point recently (perhaps in regards to her Fauci controversies) and 2.) She probably called up ABC afterwards to make sure Joy gets in trouble over something, too, and that way they're "equal." She's nutso that way.

When you look at the crap snowflake pulls almost every day and still has a job, then there’s no way they could justify letting Joy go for a bad joke. (And I agree that, as a comedian for 50 years, your comedic mind talks faster than your thoughtful mind.  I mean McCain has been rude to many many guests in addition to her co hosts.  Not even close.

  20. Also loved Whoopie response at the end of the abortion discussion pointing out how these same people don’t seem to care about the kids that are born who live in poverty or have no parents, are in foster care, etc.  They only care about the fetus and, once it’s born, it’s not so important any more.  That needs to be said every time these conversations occur.

just googled her religion and found this…she’s supposedly now very faith oriented??  It says he’s Anglican which is basically the Church of England..didn’t think Americans belonged to that particular church here but would instead identify as Episcopalians. If so, Episcopalians are some of the most progressive church goers, so that just doesn’t jibe.
