I agree wholeheartedly, Cooksdelight. Though I'm not exactly a fan of Bret's - he's mouthy, loud, and abrasive - I don't begrudge him using his pass when he wanted to. He won it fair and square with his risotto, and judging him for opting out of the punishment was just petty and immature.
As you said, any of them would have been clamoring to go if they'd won the pass. Their reaction was just sour grapes.
