  1. Ooohhhh, it just gets better and better. Glad to hear about your Mom, Endeavour.
  2. Things are moving in the right direction. Awwww. I'm glad we can provide some serenity. Sorry about the stupid caterer, buffyjunkie*. Happy birthday to the hubby! So glad your Sister's ok, KPC. *so weird calling you that now that I know you.
  3. Yeah, I'm very pro-life when it comes to animals, but what do you do with bees living in your wall? It's not like you can politely ask them to move somewhere else. You could have had your own honey, though. Have you ever chewed (or ate) raw honeycomb? It's goooooood. I hope your Sister's ok and keeps you in the loop about the results, KPC.
  4. *cough*Portland*cough* Vibes for KPC's sister and Barphe.
  5. I'm home! Hugging my babies like there's no tomorrow. Heh. The trip was wonderful, even if a bit tiring. I packed a lot into it. The meetup was so great! Everyone was so nice to me, it didn't feel at all like I was meeting those people for the first time. It felt more like hooking up with old friends. buffyjunkie is a sweetheart and the boys are delightful. Thanks for showing me around Chicago. Chyna joined us for dinner on Thursday and then brunch Saturday. She is just lovely. And I got to meet her girls too! She's got two pretty amazing kids. Actually, while no organ harvesting took place, John did try to kill us by luring us onto busy traffic on our bikes. I'm adding my vibes for Erratic's mysterious project.
  6. The servings are huge pretty much anywhere in North America. Also, I noticed in some places fries are free as a side dish, but salad you have to pay for. That's not good. I got an half order at Applebee's (I always do that if it's an option) and that was acceptable. Wishing KPC a sold out show and great reviews.
  7. Break a leg KPC!!!! You'll be great! And to whomever is putting you down, a leprosy curse on you! With extra pus.
  8. I am at Niagara Falls at the moment. Eating at Applebee's. Still in Canada, I'll cross over to the US on Monday. Can't wait to see you guys.
  9. I'm on a train from Montreal to Quebec City. There's supposed to be a parade tomorrow with costumes and fireworks. Neat. The two ladies from California who were at the B&B with me told me. They're going to Quebec too, only by bus. What a coincidence. Barphe, you can vent here whenever you want and about whatever you want, from the more serious (like you are experiencing right now) to the more trivial. I hope you and your husband can find an arrangement that's good both for you and for your in-laws. Whaaaaaaaaa? harvester, I thought I was the only one who saw that movie. Heh. The kids were cute, though. Speaking of old cell phone, do you guys remember that giant thing Saved by the Bell's Zach used to carry around?
  10. I'm in Canada! Montreal to be precise. I' ve seen a lot of squirrels already! And a racoon came tapping on my window!! Weeee!
  11. Absofreakinglutely. I'm leaving tomorrow. I'll see you on the other side.
  12. What are you working on, KPC? Can you hint? You enjoy the ribs and the booze, Erratic. Will someone please provide dusky with a keyboard! I need to hear about the poopyhead. Vibes as needed.
  13. Thanks for the thought. I know it must seem close to you, but to us, it doesn't as much. Not to the point that we would feel threatened anyway. I certainly wouldn't fly over Ukraina right now, that's for sure. Let's just hope the madness ends soon. If you look over at the history at humankind, we really are unable to avoid conflict and war. It's like it's in our genes. Hahahahah! Yeah, you need a degree in matematics to understand that paragraph. Happy relaxed reharsing KPC!
  14. Happy anniversary to Mr and Mrs F! val, did you thank us in your speech? Cause you know, if you forgot, we may be in danger of breaking up.
  15. You should have gone alone, val. How old is your nephew, KPC? And how do his parents respond to him hitting them? I'm glad Mr F's Grandma found her groove again. So happy for you, Harvester! Super strong vibes for an all-kinds-of-awesome new job for Erratic. I'm sorry you're feeling down. Would it be possible for you to move closer to one of your friends? And maybe not work for awhile? I don't have a problem with bats. I have a lot of them living under my roof. Baby bats are cute.
  16. Housewarming party for Annie! *cue the music* Erratic, I don't remember if you've already told us, have you ever tried one of those courses set up by flying companies for people afraid of flying? They have a pretty high success rate. I think your marriage will be fine anyway.
  17. Yeah, awards categories are often odd. Is it the Golden Globes that have the same category for comedies and musicals? That makes zero sense.
  18. Embrace the momentary hysteria, Annie. It'll be over soon.
  19. I use facebook just to talk with you guys and other friends who live far away and I almost never see. I'm not a very sharing person in real life either. I believe this apply to pretty much all awards of any kind: tv, cinema, music.
  20. Come to Chicago! Come to Chicago! I did not! *Rushes over to Pottermore* My condolences, cko. I was really looking forward to trying Crumbs since you love it so much. Poo.
  21. Aww, that sucks Erratic. We sure do. Congratulations to Alexa. Is she considering going to college?
  22. Actually, that was very educational. Especially language - wise. I'm sorry you're feeling down, CRose. We all have times in our lives when we take more that we can give. How's trip planning coming along? So happy for you, harvester! Happy 4th of July, USers!
  23. So the bride looks better by comparison? I don't know. We don't have bridesmaids. Nope. Exactly. Wear whatever you want, the bride's sister will just have to deal with it. Yay on the transfer! Lo, the place you visited seems very nice. Plus, dog! Was you Mom evicted because she didn't pay rent? Anyway, I hope you win the case and get the retainer money back.
