You haven't remembered incorrectly, but that made no sense back when that episode aired, and it still makes no sense now. Forget about how bad a circa-2000 digital image file would look on a 2022 dating profile -- I can assure you that very, very few obituaries from 2000 still exist online, and those that do are those of very famous people, and not of random finance douchebros who vanished during upstate frat parties gone wrong.
Now, if Trevor had pulled his dating profile photo from a FindAGrave.com memorial, that would be different....

In the Spielberg remake (reimagining? Not sure how to describe it), Graziella had a bigger part than that, especially when Anita is attacked in the shop. Paloma Garcia-Lee was pretty damn powerful in that absolutely ugly scene, and it made me reconsider everything I'd previously thought about the character.
(Full disclosure: I think this 2021 version of West Side Story is so very much better than the original 1961 version, and a lot of its superiority has to do with the careful way they elevated all of the supporting characters, including Graziella.)

That whole legs thing in the opening sequence was just...so...disgusting. Like, so vicariously, violently disgusting, that it gave me hope this show was getting back on the right track.
And then we got a Speed ripoff and fifteen minutes of Birthmark Boy agonizing because he kissed somebody at a bar. Sigh.

I thought it was pretty impossible that Chim, on the original 9-1-1, had a chunk of rebar through his head, and was still medically fit for duty in two weeks. These shows are deliberately stupid.
My big question: Why does Paul still have a both a turntable and a vinyl copy of Louis Prima's version of "Just a Gigolo"? Completely nit-picky, I realize, over a show that has far more glaring plot holes, but vinyl? Of Louis Prima? Really?

I'd just like to thank everyone on this forum board for providing me with a thorough education on the various scandals swallowing international skating competitions over the past couple of years. Like most people, I focus on figure skating once every Olympics, and you guys are waaaaay better than NBC at spilling the tea.

Totally agree, and these three are the main reason I'm sticking with this series, despite the obvious problems in the first two episodes.

Frances Cleveland would have been pretty good, but I'm pretty sure this show doesn't have the budget to go full-on Gilded Age on us.
Also, Frances Cleveland was pretty much an anti-woman, anti-immigrant, and pro-horrendous people kinda person.
