Also, the way she just insisted on being the driver, so she’d get more foot room was so Whitney.

Yes! That was absurd and Whitney in a nutshell. She could have easily ridden shotgun and could have scooted closer without the steering wheel thus giving those in back more room.  🤬

How the heck are they going to turn the awkward baby convo and Chase's cold shoulder into a marriage proposal on the same trip? Can't wait.

I don't know how the bike didn't end up with flat tires and a broken seat.

My exact thoughts.  No one goes from not knowing if they even want kids to proposing to spend their life with someone who wants nothing more in less than a week.

I love that Whit throws Chase under the bus the second she can

I can no longer brain after this episode - when does she throw him under the bus?

Am I the only one that found it extremely odd that she/they threw a “housewarming” party and those invited were mostly people she didn’t know? From my experience - housewarming parties are much like baby/bridal/etc. showers in that those invited are ones closest people.  So strange.

Hold up, Whitney of fallen in the shower and can't get up, Whitney of trapped in skis, Whitney of scooter of shame parade, Whitney of passed out barely dancing, Whitney of almost drowned in low current, Whitney of can't slowly walk 3 miles without causing debilitating injuries, Whitney of can't shave her own legs...

She, is concerned about her parents, who seems remarkably spry, able, intelligent and extremely financially stable, ability to care of themselves to the point that she thinks she needs to control their life decisions.

    Good god.

     All. Of. This.

Putting all her failures together like this really shows how remarkably (or unremarkable?) ridiculous she is.

  4. Twit said something about Todd not showing up while they're having an amazing "guest choreographer" visiting (or something like that) - umm.  He's teaching them to twerk.  Todd is probably not showing up on purpose.  It's hard to take someone seriously who is the "king of twerking" or "twerk king" - whichever it was.   I'm in a hotel and can't rewind. 🤓

At the beginning of the ep, when she was describing the Whitathon, she said she'd been "training" for six weeks.  How come we didn't get to see any of this training?

Did that include the talk with her trainer about prepping for the Whitathon in last week's episode - a week and a half before leaving for Alaska?

This caught my attention as well.  Trained for 6 weeks, my arse!  Had she actually trained for 6 weeks - wouldn't her trainer be aware of said trip to Alaska, and its activities, prior to a week and a half before the trip?  Riiiiggghhtt, Twit.  I'm sure you really trained.  Bonkers.

In other news - when Twit was on the phone with Buddy and Heather was in the room, was Buddy aware he was on speaker phone with Heather listening in?  If not - that was a real d*ck move on Twit's part.  She is supposed to be his best friend who allegedly cares about him SOOOO much that she cries when he's struggling through life - yet she doesn't consider his privacy?  Had I been on a call with my best friend talking about a recent breakup, etc. and later found out my ex was in the room listening in - I would be livid.  I was secondhand pissed off for him and I'm not even a Buddy fan.  That was very 7th grade of Twit.  I guess I can't say I'm surprised.  Without Heather there the drama factor would be minimal and she would have no immediate audience to her grand display.

  6. How am I only just now starting to think it’s kind of odd to install some kind of “wrap” on a RENTED RV?!  I guess I can understand it somewhat but returning it without removing it first? Am I missing something? Lol. I guess I just don’t get how RV rentals work. 🤓 Someone please educate me.

The visit to the fertility doctor is a good opportunity to remind everyone that Whitney has never actually been diagnosed with PCOS.

Do we actually know this/how do we know this? I promise I’m not challenging you - I honestly just can’t remember. 🤓 All of her drama and lies are starting to blur together.  I can’t remember where her having PCOS even originated.

This! I came to the forum to see if I was the only one with this thought and I’m glad I’m not.  As soon as she said it was Chris Brown I questioned her grasp on reality. Why on earth would someone seek that out?!?

I’m in the minority in that I like Laura in general. I follow her Instagram and have enjoyed those ATTN videos she made with Nev in the past. Cleo is adorable, and she seems like a good and fun mom. But I DON’T like her on this show. She’s just not a good fit. It’s not because she’s a woman, because I’ve enjoyed many of the female guest hosts back when Max was directing a movie a couple seasons ago. She just doesn’t have the right personality or presence for it.

Agreed.  As a person I have nothing against her.  She seems like a nice person and a decent match for Nev as a partner in life.  I do not, however, feel like she's a very good fit for the show.  I think they need someone who is pretty outgoing, sarcastic, and/or a realist to offset Nev's optimism.  She seems to be far too chill for the position.

3 things. Max's name is not spoken and they don't even give an excuse of what place he is at this time. The editing department edits the email to say "Dear Nev and Laura". Finally, Laura is basically slipping into the role like a glove. As in, she's saying all the lines like she's been at it forever.

They make stupid pizza puns about the case, there's a scene of Nev filming them in bed together right as Laura's waking up (even though Laura isn't camera ready) which is followed by them walking out together holding hands. The episode ends with them asking for an invitation to the wedding (from a pair whose only romantic experience is drunkenly making out in a bathroom).

That Nev is pretending at all like the co-host is up in the air is downright hilarious.  From her demeanor I'm inclined to defend Laura and say it's more about his control freak tendencies and he's slowly been goading her in until she couldn't say no. He doesn't understand what keeping a private personal life means.

I don't know if we have September episodes, if we do, the final 100 special on the 29th is likely just giving them time to rush two more out to get to the 20 ep quota. Next week isn't being promoted as the end of Max or as a season finale. Plus it'd be odd for them to not have Untold Stories specials.

Get out of my head! You basically just said everything I was thinking.  The lack of mention of Max weirded me out.  Almost as if he never existed.

The waking up/bed scene made me feel really uncomfortable for some reason.  It seemed super awkward - I could have definitely lived without that and seeing them discuss things after they were up and going like usual.

I almost get the feeling that Laura is just placating Nev.  He has probably been nudging her for months (or longer) to do the show and she's hoping he'll shut up about it.  Sadly, she's probably going to end up stuck as the co-host.

I'm no doubt a terrible person, but I burst into laughter when I came across this video of so-called dancing. (And look at all that space & she still "dances" within a 5-foot radius.)

How convenient that her cat just happened to be lying at her feet so she could stop dancing after just 30 something seconds to "pet her cat" aka hide that she has zero stamina.  (I'm sure that's a run-on sentence but I cannot brain after that video)

Oh my!  Do you guys remember the Orwellian nightmare that was those flesh-colored spandexish pants she had to wear when "working" for the Greensboro Grasshoppers?!  It was such an awkward situation overall.

Jerusha - its an Old Testament name which fits perfectly for someone Glenn would be married too.  Its definitely an annoying name to hear repeatedly.

Someone on the FB page for MBFFL (under the latest "Ask Whitney") asked "Did they finally cancel the show?"  I nearly PML.

And today someone asked if she is still converting to Judaism!  Yassss...I hope she has some crazy hair-brained excuse considering we all know she was only doing it for a guy she barely knew.

Twit posted her annual birthday tribute to Babs along with the photo she always re-posts of a young Babs. And, as usual, her fans are squealing about how similar in facial features Twit & Babs are.

I have to concede that the fans are right. But why does Twit re-post this photo so often?

I had never seen this photo and at a few glances (before getting to the post) I thought it was Twit and I think that’s exactly what she’s going for and hoping for.  That just for a second people think it’s her (a much thinner her).

I kiss my parents, my siblings, my children, and my grandchildren on the lips. There are many things to snark on Whitney about, this is not one of them. IMO, those who see anything sexual in a peck on the lips are the ones that have hangups.

I'm going to have to agree with you for the most part.  On the rare occasion I get to see my folks I usually will peck my mom on the lips at least once during the visit (I'm not southern) but I don't think I do with my dad (that I recall).  We're just not as affectionate.  The fact that Twit kissed Glenn on the lips isn't what weirded me out - it was the fact that it was probably a lingering kiss since it was for a photo.  That's a bit awkward more than anything.  To sexualized a peck is a bit much in my opinion as well.

While I'm not southern - I do live in the south and adults referring to their dad's as "daddy" has always driven me mad.  It sounds so silly.  But hey, we're all different and have our own customs, I suppose.

do you mean that when someone uses the word "fat" vs. overweight or obese they are adding the characteristic of lazy to that person, not just overweight.

Definitely the latter.  I couldn't really put it into words but you said it pretty perfectly.  When I see someone overweight I don't generally just assume they're lazy (due to all the variables that go into being overweight), I don't usually think much about it unless I know what's going on.  I tend to lean toward using the term "overweight" versus "fat" unless I know for a fact they are lazy and/or have an unhealthy lifestyle (Twit).  If someone has an actual health condition or is actively making changes I would never refer to them as fat.  If I see a stranger who is morbidly obese I obviously don't know their situation so I don't spend time thinking about it or applying either word to them.  So yeah, I guess to me lazy/slovenly = fat but I definitely don't assume overweight = lazy.  I wish I was better with words.  Thank you for breaking down what I was unable to articulate!

  18. I'm curious if anyone else out there has a similar view/definition of the word "fat".  In my opinion someone can be the same size as Twit but actively busting their ass to make positive lifestyle changes and I wouldn't consider that person fat despite being the same size.  I guess I view "fat" as more of the laziness and denial side of things rather than the person's physical size.  Does that make sense?
