I, too, was appalled that the Tres Amoebas couldn't identify Ernest Hemingway.

Vicki's excuse was that he died before she was born.  So she also wouldn't be able to identify Abraham Lincoln?  George Washington?  Julius Caesar?  Mmmmkay.

And Shannon, if you hold a degree from USC and still have no idea who Ernest Hemingway is, then you need your money back.  Or enroll in any junior college....they'll teach you.

As for Tamra, I think her face has been pulled so tight that her brain cells are being squeezed.  And her chest melons are restricting blood flow.  So that's my excuse for her.

Also, if you happen to find yourself in a city where someone of historical significance lived, and you have the opportunity, why wouldn't you go?  I gotta give the 3 who went props, as they seemed inquisitive and seemed to enjoy it.

As a So Californian, it bears mentioning that when Shannon went to USC, it was super easy to get in and notorious for being a haven for rich kids. Now, I admit, the latter is still true-but, it was waay easier to get in then!

Re Gina and Emily--I think it's funny that they think they can make digs about age, about new foot creams and ailments and stuff--you two broads might want to check your birth certficates, cause ain't neither of you 21.  Gina is 35.  She's old enough to be a grandmother.  If Jo was still on this cast at 23, she'd be calling them old, so they can calm down a little with their "youth."

    -----------------------------------------------

I thought you asked why everyone hated Brooks, so I catalogued Brooks's existence and then I re-read your question and realized you were just asking about Vicki vis a vis "the cancer," so I highlighted that.  I'm too proud of my work to erase it now.  JK, I actually want to see if my account is correct as other viewers see it, because I have a feeling I'm missing a piece of the story too.

Brooks--he and Vicki were allegedly exchanging innapropriate emails before Vicki was estranged from Donn.  He came into her life with weird non sequitors, saying he loved Vicki's vagina, not knowing the ages of his four children, he allegedly told Brianna's husband how to beat her while he was really drunk, gave Vicki a fur coat as a loaner, and she had to buy him a set of chompers when he first moved to OC, cause he had a meth mouth.  No one liked him.

Things took a turn for the worse when Brooks allegedly had cancer and Shannon got involved trying to help save his life, only for it to be revealed that...if he ever had cancer, it was "nose cancer" aka skin cancer, and it cleared up millions of years ago.  He basically fabricated the whole thing, and the majority opinion is that Vicki was in on it because she wanted sympathy in the form of casseroles, and her only defense was the she carried around a binder for him, with lots of tabs, and she never actually saw him get chemo--she'd wait downstairs at the hospital--so how could she possibly be complicit?  No, I'm not making this up!

There was other weird shit going on that involved smoothies and Vicki selling bracelets online allegedly to fight cancer, but I never got into that stuff.  Too convoluted.  And it was off the show, on the blogs and stuff, and I just don't have time for that.

And HE ended it.  She'd probably still be with him if he hadn't broken up with her and moved away.  Dark chapter, for sure.  I'd rather see them get drunk and fall down than go back to that.

THIS. I watched someone have cancer, close to me. There is NO WAY they could have been fabricating it without me knowing it ESPECIALLY if I went to chemo with them. You never waited outside, you generally sat with them,  there's a doc appointment before, blood work, etc. There's fatigue, nausea, other items that just HAPPEN. There was NO WAY she couldn't have known.

I'll say this, Andy Cohen has made himself very rich with his hatred of women. And we have made it pretty damn easy for him.

If they're people he works out with, I wouldn't say they are random strangers. But I agree he shouldn't be dumping his marital woes on them instead of talking to his wife.

On the police taking Rebecca "home"...assuming this is the same cabin they used to go to when the kids were young, she may have remembered the address. Alzheimer's, at least, typically affects short-term memory first. I would think some other forms of dementia do as well. It's not that far in the future so she's probably still in a relatively early stage.

Sorry part of a longer joke, I didn't link it well.

Uh-oh, trouble in paradise. How dare you not waiting until she could be there to watch you eat. You know how important it is!

And he's talking to random strangers on the internet about it before his own spouse. LOL. Death knell!!

  6. Darcey is a toxic cloud of lewd desperation, neediness, stale perfume and general stank behavior. I cannot believe someone tolerated her enough to marry and procreate with her. I just CANT with her. And she knows TWO WORDS: Amazing and some variation of "MARRY". Excuse me while I go throw something at my TV and get a life.

I know the actor who plays Henry from

    "The Good Girls" - he's a detective
"New Adventures of Old Christine" - he briefly dates Wanda Sykes.

Posters have mentioned other shows he's from too.  But I forget those.

I think I should try this show again.

    Girlfriend's Guide too!

Lola does give strange advice, such as writing letters to abusive parents (which only makes the parent defensive and pissed off) and adults rolling around on the floor like a little brat having a temper tantrum (and then go for a walk).  How in the world does that help?  I know it's better than beating up someone, but there has to be a better way to express and/or control your anger.  Why doesn't she try to get to the root of all that anger and help him deal with it?

Also, I was cracking up b/c how in the heck does she think someone in that shape can easily get down on the floor, flail around and then get up for a brisk walk. LOL. Too much.

Wow an ok top 10.  Tonight was way more enjoyable than last night.  Did most of the bottom half come from the first hour of the show?

I would have  gone with the country gal over Ragu but no biggee.

Side note.  I'm old -the song "Dust in the Wind" by Kansas is a haunting, haunting song.  I don't know what Evelyn was singing.  Download the original version.

Oh Girl, I agree. Please, please download the original song and prepare to be floored. I was having a WTF moment with that rendition.

Exactly what I thought when I heard her say that.  I totally believe Teresa hit Jackie with the “aren’t you hungry” as a dig at her previous eating disorder.  (She forgot that Dolores mentioned she had that too bc that was so briefly mentioned). The. When it went off like a lead balloon, crickets, and Melissa telling Teresa how wrong that was to say, Jennifer came in and threw a life raft to Teresa by saying she meant to say thirsty.  Of course that made Teresa look even stupider, but less cruel.

I think Teresa is misreading the room, and the audience.  We are ready for her to go.  I like Jackie a lot though I agree she needs more story.  I hope she stays.  I hope Teresa leaves.

I know lots of you say bravo didn’t even run the show when she was in jail, but the rest of the cast was so ho-hum then.  It’s a much stronger cast now and I think they can get along fine without Teresa.  She has really crossed the line to despicable and it’s not fun to watch in a hate/fun way, it’s just really uncomfortable and not what I look for in my guilty pleasure reality tv watching!

Also now that her friendlier veneer has been stripped off I can now more easily see the horrible woman who ripped off all the contractors and other regular people who worked on her house, then declared bankruptcy and went to jail and still never made them whole

It's also so despicable how many people support and love her, knowing full well she grifted a lot of hard working people out of needed money and was CONVICTED for it.  MISS me with that, "I love Tree crap". I'm watching to feel better about how stupid she truly is and finally being called on it.
