  1. Does Buddy have any ambition at all? Sitting around and complaining about his crappy life seems to be the only thing he does best. Ugh, what a mouth breathing slacker.

The twerking guy? Just another random You Tuber who will do anything for more exposure. Although he did show up camera ready, make up and all. Whit actually seem unsure about her twerking skills which was surprising because of her overinflated, "I can do anything" attitude.

I think Heather is still uncomfortable about the supposed Buddy/Whitney saga. Her body language seemed really tense,  and I hope she didn't really end up in therapy because of Buddy dumping her.

As usual, baby Harper and the kitties stole the show.

In one of her talking heads after the infamous "Whitney Is Falling and She Can't Get Up" skiing episode, Whitney says that experience upset her, because she had been convinced there was nothing a person of her weight can't do, and this forced her to acknowledge that she was wrong. But she apparently never made the logical jump that this means there are things she shouldn't do until she loses some weight.  Instead, she apparently decided the real reason for her skiing failure is that the boots she was given were too tight. If she had only been given properly fitting equipment, she would have schussed down that slope like an expert. (Can I vote for a Whitney redemption ski trip?? Please, producers, pretty please!!) So I guess it's OK to have equipment modified for her weight - -that's not fat shaming, that's fat accommodation!

Oh God, can you imagine her on the chairlift? Those things scare the shit out of me because I'm always afraid I'll slide righ off.

Wow... Whitney on a four-wheeler. Not like any of us actually expected her to do any real walking.

Stuff like this really annoys me, and not just for the snark of seeing Whitney riding when walking would do her a world of good. When I'm out in the wilderness like that, I actually want to enjoy the wilderness. I want to listen to birds and maybe get a chance to see some real wildlife. But inevitably some yahoo on a four-wheeler or snow machine comes tearing through, ruins the quiet and just totally kills the mood. No chance on seeing deer or moose with that kind of racket.

I feel the same way. My ex used to love riding quads, but couldn't understand why I thought blasting through the woods wearing a full face helmet, wasn't my idea of enjoying the outdoors.

Also, we have all said this as well, she is a spoiled and entitled brat. The trainer was saying slow it down, in the previews everyone telling her to slow down and she just doesn't f'ing listen. So if she pulls a muscle or twists her ankle and the forest service has to come save her ass, I hope they bill her for that.  Also, watching last night that she invited Todd over only to tell him that they only wanted her, not him for that conference, I truly believe she just loves to try and make other people miserable, just like how she feels on the inside. She wasn't sugar coating the Buddy & Chelsea with Heather, she was getting her kicks at hurting Heather ( I know..wtf over Buddy to boot )

She really does get off on other people's unhappiness. That's why I really enjoyed her pouting when Glen and Babs were so underwhelmed with Whit-a-thon.

I think her disregard to heed the trail advice is a set up for an upcoming injury. We should expect lots of weepy speeches about how she "gave it her all" and "tried to keep going through all of the pain". You know, the usual bullshit.

The randomly invited rock climber instructor hired to escort Whitney on her hike had her completely and accurately summed up in minutes. She's a stubborn woman, convinced she knows best, who has no idea of what is involved in even a basic hike, let alone a hike at high altitude. It seems to be an attitude he's run into often.  I enjoyed the way he rolled his eyes, and then shrugged off her refusal to listen to him when he told her to slow down. I appreciated the way he largely ignored all her wailing and whining, and was matter-of-fact in his encouragement.

He's right that she starts speeding up in order to get it over with - she does that with all her workouts.  And since she never has enough technique or stamina or strength to do all of whatever she's trying to do, the only result  is that she burns herself out, and winds up sobbing on the side of the road, or the equivalent.

That trail is beautiful and looks like a lot of fun. It's a shame that Twit just barrels along completely disregarding the beauty and her companion.

I really do think Jessica is over Twit's bullshit drama. I'd love to hear what she really thinks of this whole charade.

I’ve been struggling with this. When I was young and thin I thought I was fat. Fast-forward 25 years and last year I was very overweight. I lost 40 lbs which was great. But I still have at least 30 to lose. I have to remind myself I don’t look as good as I think I do. Just because I’ve lost a lot and I’m wearing jeans 4 sizes smaller than before doesn’t mean I’m not still fat. I have to remind myself that I’m not there and be happy with my progress.

I'm the same way. My weight was perfectly normal when I was younger but I always felt 10 lbs. too heavy. Now, for some reason (denial?), I imagine myself lighter than I am. I hate being photographed now.

Why does she always set these impossible goals? She can go to Alaska and walk around. She doesn't have to do the most strenuous hike/mountain climbing that they have.

No, B. Being called 'fat,' when you are fat, is not a hate crime. Even if you aren't fat, it's still not a hate crime. As a people, as women, can we just stop being so triggered and victimized by everything that happens to us that we can't function as adults or that we expect other people to solve our problems for us?

And Buddy - taking your new GF and her child to live with your parents because you don't have a decent job. Shame on you. Work 2 jobs if you're going to do something so stupid as hook up w/a single mom at this point. And GF - take a look around; things aren't going to get any better hanging out at his parents'.

I would have LOVED to have seen the horrified expressions of Buddy's parents when he dropped that little bombshell.

  8. I got the feeling Jessica is kind of over listening to Whitney's whining and delusional "challenges". Loved her comment to her as Whit and Babs headed over to the stationary bikes "...the big seat is for you, Whitney".

For someone who is training 4 times a week, she was pretty out of breath with the warm up. Especially when compared to her 70 year old, post stroke mother!

A week worth of sweat apparently.

Are we sure it was sweat? Oh, and what was Chelsea referring to when she said she had "swamp ass"? Buddy found a real lady with that one.

How many of us want to see Whitney rock climb in Alaska? I went rock climbing once and it was hard, I was a lot younger and in good physical shape too, but it still kicked my ass.

Why all this hate for Meagan and none for dumbass Sarah who might be pregnant again by this idiot?  Meagan fat?  Oh, okay.

Sarah's a moron and I hope to God she's not pregnant. I'm assuming she is being supported by her parents? Grandparents? Does she work? Because other than blowing up Pacific Boy's phone and sitting on her ass whining, she doesn't seem to have much more going on. I feel so bad for their little girl-she deserves much better parents than these 2 idiots.

I haven't been to confession in years but I'm pretty sure the priest doesn't come out to greet the sinners.   Personally, I was surprised the church still uses the confessional with the barrier.   Many churches have moved on to face to face conversations.

What does support your theory is that priests don't hang out in the confessional all day waiting for people to show up as this one appeared to.  There is an appointed weekly time for confessions, usually late Saturday afternoons, and often there are a number of other people gathered in the pews near the confessional waiting to confess or quietly praying as they perform their penance.

I too find it difficult to believe the church would condone a confession being filmed and recorded, but for all we know the camera crew grabbed a few surreptitious shots, then had Lizzie loop in the dialogue in post production.   We didn't hear the priest at all, did we?

At the same time, I can't believe the church would give permission to the film crew to use the confessional and install an actor in place of a priest.   Confession is a sacrament.   It's not to be profaned.

Catholic here, and I don't believe for a minute that this show would be given permission to record in a church under these circumstances. Especially in the confessional booth.

I feel badly for Scott's son. He seems like a good kid having to stand by and watch his idiot father jump through hoops for grifter Lizzie.

At least Clint doesn't have to roam the streets, worrying about his goddess. She's back where she belongs in the local county jail. Happy day!

Any bets on which one of these clowns goes back to jail next? I'm thinking Matt will be headed back in the very near future.

I'm not sure the Powells can count as barnacles, but I'll put this here for anyone interested: a local news story (You Tube clip) on how Jessica lost over 100 lbs and competes in crossfit and bodybuilding with her father, Will. LINK

Now THAT's how you do it, Whitney. Jessica has to be rolling her eyes during Whitney's work outs.

Didn't he have a place to live? He chose to quit his pizza delivery job and move back to Greensboro and not call his sponsor. He needs to own his shit and take some responsibility for his choices instead of tagging along on an RV road trip or depending upon Whit or his parents to care for him. Speaking from experience recovering addicts are sneaky and manipulative. As for him and Whit, addicts attract addicts. These people make me ragey!

Exactly! Buddy is manipulating her-a classic addict trait. She needs to tell him to man up and get his shit together, already. How can she not see this?

  14. They weren't kidding about her being too big to use RV bathroom, were they? so if she has to pee in the middle of the night, then what? I went on a camping/canoe trip and we put up tents at a campground. Let me tell you, I was not happy about having to use a flashlight to find my way to the communal bathroom in the pitch dark. Seriously, it was DARK and a little spooky. It had a very "Friday the 13th" feel to it.

Anyone else wonder if the guy who does the voice-overs gets sick of the dopey questions he continually has to ask? Or answers them the way I do while shouting at my TV? "Could it have been left behind by pirates who robbed the Templars and also stole Marie Antoinette's jewels and decided to bury it all across the ocean on Oak Island???"  Well, yeah, it COULD have been - but odds are strongly against it.

    I have this same thought!

Those cops were rude af to Caitlyn. Told her to pull onto the property and then made her leave without telling her a pickup location. That's straight up BS, not like her guy gonna have a phone to call her and doubt she knows the town very well. They usually drop them off at a bus station or the family pick them up across from the prison like Scott did this episode and Andrea last year.

Where are Angela and Tony? :(

I didn't understand the whole pick up location drama either. If they're released "into the community", why with hold the location?

Poor Caitlyn. She is one hot mess and I was shocked to hear her say she can't wait to have his babies. Her friend was quite the little lady too, telling her to shut the fuck up.

LMAO at Lizzie barrelling  into Scott. I did feel bad for the kids, awkwardly watching this nonsense. Hopefully they've got more brains than their parents.

Scott's a moron. I'm amazed at the way people are so willing to let themselves be used.

I feel badly for Jasmine and hope that she has enough self esteem and strength to be able to  pick up the pieces and go on when she realizes that her mom is still a user.
