I find that when these people say they want something with this sort of charm (usually old, quaint type houses), they don't think about what that really means when it comes to the type of space they would be living, lower ceilings, less storage space etc.

Amen! I live in New England and there are a ton of homes that were built in the 1700's. I always thought that it would be charming to live in one but the floors slope, the bathrooms are tiny, you have to use window A/C units, they cost a fortune to maintain, etc.

That fat, red faced male nurse who was shopping for a home in Ecuador was a scary mess. That poor woman.

Let's try an experiment: for the episode airing THIS WEEK, don't watch and don't DVR it. Tell everyone else you know who hate watches to do the same. (You can always DVR it at a later date.) Then let's see what happens to her numbers........

  3. None of these couples are remotely interesting except for Nicole and Azan so I am going to be doing a lot of FF. I keep thinking that this is it and Nicole will smarten up but the diminishing returns just keep on coming. It may be interesting to see Pao constantly try to camouflage her body while she is on film like she does in the photos. She certainly went from "get in shape and don't be lazy" to "NO body shaming" pretty quickly.

Some thoughts and not all of them are about the food....

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm tiring of Padma and her revolving door of outfits and hairstyles...her cultural appropriation of the cornrows and wife beater shirt was not only offensive but tone deaf. This season she has gone crazy with the costume like outfits and silly hairstyles. But this last episode took the cake.

As for Sara and the waffle blunder...she should have know from previous seasons that using pre made mix would be a huge no no. However, I thought what her fellow contestants did by starting a chant with the huge crowd that was more of a taunt, showed poor sportsmanship and was very immature. For Sara, a Kentucky girl who loves her Wildcats, it was a humiliating moment and was unnecessary. She was called out for it...why rub it in with a sold out crowd and embarrass her further? This was the first fissure in this group that has so far seemed to be pretty tight with each other and not as backstabbing as other contestants have been in previous seasons.

Finally, do Justin and Eric have to be joined at the hip for every team challenge?

I was at the event and there were plenty of people on her side of the arena chanting "Better chicken!". It wasn't anywhere near as one sided as Sara made it out to be. Eric was very charming and Sara gave some indication of being a jerk which has been verified for me as I watch the earlier episodes.

Eh, lives with his religious and conservative mama and makes vague passive aggressive swipes at his big bro. Don't get me wrong, I have no great issue with Jacob but he's hardly standing firm and tall against the family.

And he's getting a little old to not have a job or any ambition. Traveling/living in a van is lovely, but it's not a career.

"Never get a full time job". Bill Nye. Good for Jacob. It is way too east to fall into a career at a corporation and there goes your life. Full time job, mortgage for what is most likely a mediocre and styleless home, couple of kids that have to be stuck in daycare, low level designer good like Coach and Pandora, credit card debt, boredom, etc.  He should put it off as long as you can. I have a big job with a major telco for 20 years and getting laid off was the best thing that ever happened to me!

I would just like to reiterate that had Big Whit (tm @Ketzel and thank you for the bedtime lulz) struck when the iron was hot—say, seasons 1-3—and hustled to franchise BGDC, she could be chilling on easy street right now. She could be doing nothing but drunken, topless live posts with her personal care coach du jour and the money would still be coming in.

I’m still disgusted at what a waste that was, not capitalizing on that when the window was open. I’m lazy too, Whitney, which is why I know you let us lazy folk down. Short term hustle for long term sloth. It’s the dream! THE DREAM! And you let it all slip through your cheeto-stained fingers. Sigh.

I watched the show from the very beginning and the original premise was hey here is a fat girl who loves to dance and is active and living her life! Whit was going to the gym, seeing a nutritionist, reaching out for support with her diet, etc.  I was expecting a feel good story and some inspiration to aid me in my own weight loss efforts and of course now its a cautionary tale but I digress. Whitney wasn't famous and had no direction on how to navigate her fame and public persona. I really think that Whit and her family/friends were all so thrilled that she had the TV show that there wasn't even a thought to how to capitalize on it or plan subsequent projects. Glenn is the only successful person in the entire group and he just seems worn out and tired.

Thats what i want to know. Why is fat if he did coke, unless he did pot as well

People on crack get strung out and thin. People snorting cocaine get puffy - usually from drinking copious amounts of alcohol to manage the buzz  I was in my twenties in the 80's and saw a TON of that.

I have said it before in these forums:  She may not be everyone's cup of cocoa but Kathy Griffith would slay it as the host.  She loves reality tv and would open every wound!!!

Even with that awful Trump photo Kathy is head and shoulders over Andy in talent, wit and celebrity. He ruined Bravo and he has fostered such a violent and crass work environment for the Housewives that they are acting like trash all of the time. It's a shame because the original RHOC was interesting and the glamorous over the top lifestyles were entertainment in themselves. Now it's like the WWF in Loubotins .

I haven’t listened to their new podcast but heard the little sound clip that they posted and it confirmed what I had figured was happing. I listen to Jeff and Alyssa Bethkes podcast.

I will give some background in the Bethkes for those who don’t know. they are  write Christian books, do online modhles for cHristians, speaking events for churches etc. so they are a legitimate couple who has earned their followers and had to work to become authors through publishers and all that. They didn’t have a following from reality tv show who blindly buy their products. they also have a podcast called The Real Life Podcast.

I have thought drom the first time i listened to some of The Behind the Scene podcast that they sounded eerily familiar to the Bethkes podcast. The way the intro is, their Christmas episode and from the sound clip i heard of this weeks podcast it has confirmed they are basically plagiarizing what they are talking about.

Seriously, one week after the Bethkes podcast comes out theRoloffs do one on the same topics, albeit less eloquent and with less actual knowledge on the topic. Bethkes- go in depth of what advent it and their traditions ; Jeremy goes surface deep on what can be found after googling advent and reading the brief description that pops up and their traditions. Goal setting podcast: the Bethkes don’t like to set goals/ resolutions they set rhythms. New pidcast Audrey says they dont set goals but what do they set? Yup, you guessed it RHYTHMS.  I havent listened so i wont be able to say if anymore is similar or not. But my hunch is yes.

I wuld be less annoyed and give them more credit  if they said oh I heard from so and so’s this and we think thats grwat ni dont feel like they have any original thoughts hut are takingnother peoples ides and switching a few wordsbecause they aren’t very knowlwdgable about the subject and trying to pass it as their own.

Ps for people who don’t seem to put very much time into working, I swear they’ve been in break since Novemberwhen they finished their book, they take a lot of vacation time.

Is that considered plagiarism in a legal sense?

Adding on to the above, what the fuck was all that bullshit at the beginning of this season with her whinging on and on about how IF her sister and parents didn't approve of her living situation with No Lips Greasy Eric, then they were going to take Aless back home to Indonesia with them. WHY on earth wouldn't they take him anyway and just raise him? Why make such a big fucking deal if it wasn't going to even be a viable option? They should have told her they were taking him home for now, and when she could prove their living situation was reasonable they would consider sending him back. Then just keep him there and not return him. It's not like she's going to fight for custody of him, she couldn't give a shit about her own child.

OMG. You may have hit on something. Maybe they were trying to freak the family out with the gross apartment and poverty so that Aless could leave with Gamma and Gampy and they could have their endless honeymoon in Baraboo.

  12. Jonathan may have declared bankruptcy to prepare for his impending divorce.

Eric being a drunk is no surprise - he always looks wasted or hungover. I wonder what his initial plan with Leida was for this show? Some sort of Green Acres/I Love Lucy/Overboard mashup with the kooky Indonesian Princess and the poor but brave and chivalrous war hero?

Yeah, she kinda hit the green card jackpot with Jonathan.  He is attractive, he appears kinda successfully, he seems willing to do just about anything to make her happy and he buys her whatever she wants.

Good luck finding another one.  There are far more Colt's than Jonathans in that deck of cards.

I know some breathtaking drop.dead.gorgeous women.who play the sugar daddy game. They get the.shoes and bags (I don't understand how that translates to.money to them at all) and maybe find.a.man.who will pay their rent and phone bills. But the smart girls always keep a side hustle with flexible hours i.e. personal trainee, masseuse, hair dresser, etc..

Jon didn't seem to be very supportive of her being a model, perhaps because he knows she doesn't have what it takes, unless she wants to be a Pao-Type model.

Pao can't make much money. Their apartment is very cheap looking and they have a lot of plastic furniture like Eric. And if she can't drop the baby weight she will lose the segment of Instagram followers who like to fap to her bikini photos. This is not a sustainable lifestyle for them

Eric may actually be even worse than Leida.  Those are his flesh and blood daughters that he casually and brutally dismissed...Leida, at least, has no real ties to them.

Eric currently has 3 videos on Instagram, where he is reading from texts supposedly from Leida, apologizing to Tasha and asking her to come back into her father’s life.  Tasha doesn’t appear to be buying into it at all.

I hope that Tasha sticks with that mindset because Leida reminds me of Marie Hilley. Leida must be furious that she can't open credit lines on Eric's credit - but why doesn't she have any? Many of the fiancees appear to be flat ass broke other than owning a phone

When Eric lost his pants, why did they leave together to hunt them down?  Did he need to be verbally berated while seeking pants?  Could he not venture alone while she finished dressing?  Why am I applying logic?

I think that it was a setup so that they could imbibe drugs and/or alcohol. Leida would have had a nuclear level meltdown about the pants being missing and there was NO reason for her to ride along in her blue button down and her tiara from marche Claire's either. The footage in the elevator shows Leida looking high as a kite. The two of them are drunk/drugged on their various social media platforms quite often but never on camera which is odd.

Oh boy 😒 this reminds me of Jason trying to sell all sorts of "branded" nonsense online.  Do these ventures ever work out?  90 day fiance is a hit, but enough to wear a t shirt with a catch phrase that 5 other people will know?

There are only two cast members who have managed to tweak their appearance on the show into a legit money making career. Molly is definitely getting more business at her lingerie store. Jesse is being paid to fly all over the world.for.his appearances.  The other cast members who refuse to accept that they.aren't actors and need real jobs are.just pulling in pennies posing with poop tea. Jason Hitch is the perfect cautionary tale for the newer cast members.  Oh - if Evelyn does make it on American Idol then she.would make three. Am I missing a.success story?
