Maybe. Time will tell. It just feels different to me.

Maybe it’s because I dislike Kate because I can’t stand bullies. I just have to ignore the evidence of my lying eyes.

Ironically enough, Simone mentioned how she was bullied growing up, that's why she was so bothered by what Kevin said. So, I guess from the looks of it Kevin was being the bully in this episode? Hmm, something to ponder...

Kevin needs to quit. Much like Leon in a previous season he will never get a fair hearing from the Captain because Kate has poisoned the well. I do have a suspicion that Kate’s problems with Leon has a racial component much as her efforts to marginalize and isolate Simone in the galley. Why else would you name Simone second stew and then stick her in the laundry while you gossip and push forward the blond with the bad attitude? It’s just very fishy to me.

I feel like accusing Kate of being racist just because she's having Simone do laundry (which Simone said she likes doing?), is going way too far. The only time I saw someone being condescending and demeaning towards Simone was Kevin by basically saying she's stupid i.e. "there's not a lot going on upstairs with that one", "it's NOT rocket science", I don't care about his insincere apology he was absolutely rude. So we're going to accuse Kate of being racist by simply having Simone doing laundry, but not of Kevin when he insults her so badly and calling her stupid?

Kate had nothing to do with Kevin not getting seafood for the "extravaganza". Nor did she have anything to do with his misstep that resulted in the Captain not having a main course at dinner. She didn't force Kevin not to make an alternative real quickly. It wasn't Kate that just patted Lee on the back, like - "You'll get over it, dude." Kate didn't make Kevin walk out of his conversation with Lee without saying goodbye. I'm pretty sure Captain Lee can form his own opinion of Kevin that has NOTHING to do with Kate's opinion of the chef.

I completely agree! I'm not quite sure why Kate is getting the blame for Kevin being an arrogant idiot through his own actions. I understand not liking someone, but to blame them for everything that goes wrong on the boat is a bit much.

  4. After seeing this episode I would have never guessed that Brandy is actually a talented artist (after reading Reddit), she actually looks really pretty in the pics on her facebook/google (I assume she was sober in those?). While on the show she just looked like an strange mess with the spaced out look all the time. It's a shame she had to embarrass herself like that on national TV by getting wasted on whatever she was on, she will definitely be remembered for her behavior on the show way more than her artistry for years to come.

Kevin was wrong and apologized. But Simone was in over her head. She couldn’t handle a mimosa which is just about the easiest drink in the world to make. Like Kevin I blame Kate. She kept Simone down in the laundry room and even Simone said she needed more experience working with the guests. Don’t you think she could have supervised and taught her a little instead of dropping her in the deep end with a bunch of drunken assholes?

The fact is the charter guests coming to the galley to get their drinks and some spoons and forks is a massive failure of the interior crew.

In Simone's defense, I've made mimosas using freshly squeezed orange juice and for some reason it foams like crazy compared to store bought orange juice and it looks like that's what was happening. Granted, I'm sure that's how they always make mimosas on the boat and should be used to it and know how to deal with it, but I thought I'd throw my two cents in anyway lol

Lmao at the chef with diarrhea and constant shots in between to food  that resembles diarrhea, being mixed and poured. What can i say? I've got a pretty simple sense of humor 😝

And the moaning and commentary from the restroom! Oh jeeze!! TV gold.

Serious note: I hope he wasn't contagious or feverish.

I didn't catch that until I saw the scene of him in the bathroom immediately followed by the Nespresso machine brewing, well, coffee aka brown liquid lol. Interesting editing, indeed...

  7. I wanted to slap Mila for criticizing the guest for crying, bitch he actually liked your crappy food (or at least pretended to out of politeness)! You should be thanking him profusely for being so gracious about the cooking. I'm surprised the guests liked the steaks, they looked so thin and dry. And when she got mad about Aesha being honest about who baked the cake, was she supposed to lie and give credit where it wasn't due? On another note, I know it's Bravo so it's not exactly how the real world works but why hire a chef who can't bake on a yacht?

  8. Finally watched the episode, where to begin...

I love her reasoning behind not liking the balloon procedure, that it made her feel too FULL. I hate when I'm feeling full and don't want eat as much when I'm on a diet! So annoying.

I agree with those saying she loves being taken care of and getting all that attention when in the hospital, and feeling special when using the scooter. I can't stand how her voice is always quivering, she sounds like she's about to break down crying any second (except for when she's acting all cutesy to Dr. Now, barf).

Her niece always sounds like she's at an audition for a dramatic Lifetime movie.

I will say even though the wig color was a bit much and didn't look nautral, she did look far better with it on. Crazy how different she looks without the joker hair.

South Florida in the hooouuussse!!!! **waves at EnoughCats and Julyolo**

I was wondering when Hoarders was going to put together a South Florida version and this did not disappoint.

Bulk Pick-up down here is a hoarder's paradise. Basically one day a week, one can put anything that doesn't fit in the regular garbage can out in front of the house and Waste Management will pick it up. It's useful to get rid of stuff like a used mattress or an old couch.  Since there are lots of transients, household clean-outs are a popular Bulk Pick-up contributor and there are people driving around late at night and early in the morning on Bulk-Pick-Up day in old trucks and station wagons picking stuff off lawns (and even looking in garbage cans) for whatever. One guy comes around looking for scrap metal and old appliances in my neighborhood. I'm sure he sells the scrap metal for cash and perhaps fixes appliances. One of my neighbors has a treasure trove of baby stuff in her hoarded roach-filled garage (which spilled out into her driveway a couple of times prompting bitchy old me to call code enforcement on her sorry self.

Also, the Swap Shop is located in Sunrise, Florida and hosts a drive-in theater with a huge outdoor flea market/junk-o-rama during the daytime hours. I

I don't know how Patricia pays for those houses. The one is in Plantation, Florida (both Cooper City and Plantation are western suburbs of the Fort Lauderdale area). That Plantation house alone could be sold for probably $400,000 to $500,00 if cleaned and fixed up. That would buy a lot of cigarettes.  After the fines which will be attached to her house, there will be nothing left after Patricia takes her giant dred-locked banana with her to her final resting place.

And did anybody else think it was odd that Patricia was still walking around in scrubs years after leaving work at the ER? I'm surprised she didn't sell those scrubs to somebody driving by.

I also thought that was odd, as well as wearing a surgical mask. I would say it was for the dust/mold in the houses, but she doesn't seem like she would be too bothered by it (specially since she was smoking with the mask on), also no one else had dust masks on so it couldn't have been that bad. Maybe she can't seem to let go of being a nurse so she just dresses like one all the time?

Oh yeah. This is so sad, people.

I've been inside all day - Crazy Colorado March Blizzard™ started howling at 9:30 am and isn't quite finished. I'm safe and fine, but man do I NOT need so much sadness coming out of my TV.

The only reason I'll hang in is, all you lovely Live Chat peeps. Snark on!

Me too! Sucks being snowed in, going stir crazy. I don't know how people like Jeanne can just stay home all the time and never leave, I would go insane.

Don't have high hopes for this one, her facial expressions remind me of Holly (the innocent look of "I'm a victim and an idiot! None of this is my fault! Take care of me!)

Don’t know about any of the other treatments, but my sister had to have a toenail removed a few years ago. Toe was injured and it got a bad fungus. Anyway, doc said most effective treatment would be to remove the nail, clean and disinfect the nail bed and just let it grow back. She said it didn’t hurt when he removed the nail (and trust me, she’s a pain wimp! 😁). It took forever to grow back but it wasn’t painful during that period. Today, it looks perfectly normal.

Speaking from experience (and I hate to even admit this and hope no one I know is reading this!), when a toenail fungus is bad enough it causes the nail to completely separate from the nail bed. I had no idea my big toenail was so infected with fungus til I removed the nail polish and noticed most of the nail wasn't even intact so I ended up removing it for the most part, pain free because it wasn't intact with the nail bed. My sister, however, had an ingrown toenail removed and said it was one of the most painful procedures she has ever had to endure (and after watching Toebro, I can see why with all the skin that has to be removed, etc). So after all the rambling I guess my point is that the pain level I'm sure has to do with if the nail is still connected to the nail bed and if any skin has to be removed. And to empathize with your sister, toenail fungus is one of the most annoying things to deal with and takes so long to get rid of (having to wait for the nail to grow out).

  12. In Hawaii:

    "I can't do this 8k Dad!"

    "Yes you can Whitney!"

*fails at it, whines and cries the whole time*

    In Alaska:

"My dad makes me second guess myself. He thinks I can't do it, he thinks I'm pushing myself too hard"

Hmmmm...I wonder why Whitney! Such a mystery why your dad would think you couldn't do this!

Well it is true that eating three times a day regularly is the best way to maintain weight and health.  Breakfast, lunch and dinner.  But those three meals should not exceed 1500 to 2400 calories, depending on whether you are trying to lose weight or just maintain.  And unlike what Jessica said, best not to eat late in the evening.

I'm definitely not arguing against the fact that it's better to eat 3 meals as opposed to 1 for weight loss/health, I just find it hard to believe that Whitney only eats once a day. Like I said, I don't see how that's possible without her stomach rupturing. Also, when I said I was confused by the "you need to eat more times in a day", I was more confused by the fact that someone was telling Whit to eat MORE.

  14. I'm a bit confused by the whole "you need to eat more times a day!" lecture, it sounded like the way a doctor speaks to an anorexic, "you only have to eat 2 more times today, that's it! You can do it!". How does anyone believe she only eats once a day? To maintain her body weight, if she only ate once per day she would have to eat like 5,000 calories in that one meal, how is that possible without her stomach rupturing? I noticed how Jessica also said "she never really snacks" like it's a bad thing, yet Dr. Now says how snacking for obese people is a BAD thing. I don't think eating more times in a day is going to solve Whit's weight problem...

  15. OMG the constant screaming and hollering and exaggerated panting every time she does something in the least bit strenuous, it's driving me insane! Whether it be riding a bike, swimming in the ocean, climbing a rock wall, etc it's always "OH GOD....AHHH...(gasp) OH GOD...AHHHHHHHH! OHHHHHH! (heavy breathing)." Other people can seem to do these things quietly for the most part but she has to make sure everyone within a 10 mile radius knows that SHE'S PUSHING HERSELF!
