Just to add, from "going out" pics in Instagram,  seems like Erica, Jenna and Holly put off vibe of "look at how sexy I am/We are!" instead of look at me with my good friends having fun, cuteness incidental, Shame really, but I can see how attention by fans etc..can change some people, not all for the better.

But, of greater importance! ( I kid) I am scrutinizing the kick line during performance in Canton. I appears that someone is not in line (almost a foot back), and almost looks "boxed out" for a second, it is just before Jinelle talks about having goosebumps.  I don't know how it looked straight on, but from the side, it was noticeable.

did anyone else see this?

I am going to throw a vote in for Simone. She is quite beautiful, and appears to enjoy being a vet. We just don't get to see the vets enough, but more so this year, for which I am quite happy.  Maybe they can change title of show  to Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Making and Staying on the Team...?

Will the Real Erica Please Stand Up? (that sentence just dated me...yup, I'm 50 as well :)  The little Girl Voice  she has (or used) and the frequent Bible quotes covered up very adult behavior.. Be who you are and own it, but don't preach something  you don't uphold.

And Speaking of Little Girl Voices....I wonder how Gina's appearance with Jinelle went? (did anyone go?)

on another topic. How could Kelly and Judy not see that Gina was completely insincere? It was uncomfortable to watch, so how could they not pick up on the awkwardness that is Gina's limited social skill set? Or maybe there is a different filter due to Gina's dance level and experience.. That I would get, as  they need strong dancers on the team.

and back to hair,  Whoever signed off on Gina's current hair color and style needs to be demoted. Gina needs to go back to the darker brown with highlights.

and that goes for many of the "Blond"  DCC"s...The Hair Colorist and Consultant have made Jessika washed out and taken her "Wow" away. Even Kashara was not spared. Her almost "shag" (dang gave my age away again) does not look good, does not flow well during head whips...Her rookie year, post hair cut was much better.

And finally,  there is Taryn front and center on CMT website yesterday (prob still same pic) I will always cry foul for Taryn's cut. Natural beauty, no agenda, hard worker. Yes, cut her....keep the low kicker, "Rockette Level" kicker...(sorry Rockettes, no offense intended )

Yes, I agree. One and done. What was her (Christina's) comment, about having unfinished business ? Business finished then. (and then some)

I hope Lacey gets some serious props for what she brings to the team. She does not get enough of the spotlight (from what I can see)

and I am still wondering why Erica went rogue so to speak. She did not come across as a rule breaker in her first years...then guess who pops up in pics with Jenna and Holly? One or more in that trio was quite the instigator and they all went down. wonder if Erica regrets? Holly seems to think she is all set for LA and DCC was just a stop on the way.

I am still quite chuffed that Taryn was cut over Christina. Christina's low kicks are yes, painfully obvious, especially on the left. Then Jessika, oh my Stars!! I remember a certain DCC who had pos comments on her individual dance tryouts that did not make it back after she went the wrong way on first kick in kick line. For Crying in the Night.

In comparison, Holly sure could kick... For all of the deal breaker talk in regards to kicking...seems more than a tad unfair. Boo.

a few thoughts and a question....I thought Cersten had a date to take her MCATS (talked to K and J about it in the office beginning of season.) Did something change? I went back to watch episode...

and that show was a great reminder of what a super makeover Savannah had in terms of hair color. and then it reminded me that poor Raylee had a target on her back for some reason by Charlotte. (and it seemed like Melissa Rycroft was in on the plan to plant the seed that Raylee was someone not as excited as the rest of the squad to be at finals. Wrong on so many levels. I am so glad she went on to cheer for MAVS? and then I noted the Jessika was heavier that Tasha at auditions..hum, the rules seem to be enforced differently for different people.

as an Aside....did anyone else see the Alcohol is not spelled correctly on the document that Kelli shows to Holly? If memory serves it is spelled Alochol or some other variation. What in the world? official maybe legal document? I also noted some spelling errors on the Dallas Cowboys website, last week or the week prior there was one in Sam's article. I would think Cowboys organization has spell check? Just sayin...

 

And I am fixated on why they have turned Jessica into a blond (I know this travesty started last year.) Looks horrible, as it does not compliment her skin tone.

So I wanted to make an official Hair Color correction list:

Jessika (forgot does she spell with K?) should be Brunette or Auburn,

Lauren Brunette (pics as brunette were super) and eyebrow needs to be less severe

Brennan, agree with poster who said her chances might have been better with a different makeover, Brunette

Tasha change to Auburn with blond low lights

Alexandria....warm brown or even reddish undertones. Part on the side, not in the middle as well. warm make up colors

I am confusing two Rookies, Rachel and not Miranda, the other long haired Brunette, they are very similar from a distance. Not sure that is a negative, just confusing.

and I will need to go back to auditions to remember the Young ladies name that tried out and was cut due to her "look"..Melissa and Neil McCoy just couldn't see it. She was AMAZING, just had black hair that was too severe. (was also described as "cat like" by hair stylist.) How great a story line would she have been? Team lost a great candidate for sure. In the previous seasons there were several women who would have been super with some effort put towards make up and hair color that were not given a chance. Boo.

I agree about Kelsey, she has the heart, and is a fighter. Kashira and Lacey are so important to the squad. Love Madeline. Stephanie may not be strongest, but I would miss her on squad, Cersten is a star as well, Milan as well.

Ah, rookies that will go the distance? I hope Kalyssa, Lexie, Miranda and Kerya as strong rookies to come back.  I think Tara and Savannah have a chance to come back with great experience/stronger, I am not as jazzy about Lauren in uniform and as dancer, but she is a great ambassador. Would like to see Lauren go to her real hair color! (brunette, the blond is a no go for me.)

New to posting, have been with the show since the beginning. I wanted to see if anyone else thinks Taryn's kicks are lower than Christina's? I was hitting freeze frame last night, and there were several lower. I am quite chuffed Taryn gets cut over Christina. I don't get it at all. I forget who mentioned Brennan may be better as brunette, and that may have helped her a bit. Brennan just seemed so nervous down to voice shaking where I would get nervous for her. Her character was solid, so yes, hard to see the heart not in line with the talent. But Taryn over Christina? FLAG ON THE PLAY!!

I also wanted to comment on Erica and her reported behavior in the stands. What happened to our Erica from training camp? Could have blown me over with a feather. I remember her year along with Melissa. That was a strong Rookie year! Erica seemed so sweet, and respectful. Sounds like something went to her head as well :(

 

and Jenna Jenna Jenna. To the poster who said she was probably sitting right next to Holly at the bar, this would make the most sense to me.  Pics of them getting ready to go out for the night on Instagram, they clearly hung together. Jenna's comments to Holly may have been more about "not in plain sight, this is how I did it/do it" I remember Jenna's first year. I notice that she and Holly seemed to have changed with the "fame" and even down to their projection on the screen. Maybe it's being taught to play up to the crowd, and then the ego gets more involved. I saw it with Holly for sure.

My comment on Gina is maybe best for non spoiler thread, but how in the world did she not pass the sniff test with Kelly and Judy on last night's show? So forced it was painful to watch. So and so is a good girl, comment on TCC who teaches gymnastics, another lost a friend, the East Coast group. Nothing said from the heart, about friendships, just little "facts." She is a great dancer yes. Good teammate? Not as far as I can see. YiKES!!
