I know that Michelle Keys isn't the only alumni teaching the squad new routines, but I believe that she has a shot at being the next Asst. Choreographer/Head Choreographer.

Did she get it two games in a row? I thought I read that she was Game Day Girl the last game? I looked on the team’s FB page and can’t find a running “list.” Not doubting you, just confused.

I just re-read the caption of her post and realized that I overlooked the part where she said that she was last week's Gameday Girl. My bad! ?
The Cowboys' social media team have been slacking for years now and really need to step it up. We used to get gameday videos on time, but now, they're posted days or weeks after games and certain events.

Does anyone know who today's Gameday Girl is?
Amy L. was the Gameday Girl for last night's game. Part of me felt that it should've been Lexie since it was her birthday, but I know that's not how it work.

She was 29 or 30 when she made the team. She was born in 80, I just can’t remember what year she made the team. We are exactly the same age, and I remember thinking it was so cool to have an “older” cheerleader on the squad.

This is off topic, but I just thought to share after seeing this post on Instagram.
This young lady's name is Sunjai Williams, and she's a 21 yr old from Jackson, Mississippi. She's an alumni of a majorette dance team, called the Dancing Dolls, and currently attends DeSales University with a full ride scholarship in dance. Her dad is a Cowboys fan and she is a fan of the DCC. The coach of the Dancing Dolls even left a comment to Sunjai's post, encouraging her to audition one day. My question for all of you is... Do you think Sunjai has what it takes to be a DCC?
Oh yeah.... The Dancing Dolls are featured on the Lifetime show, called "Bring It."

Speaking of the banner, who do you think will be our trio this year? Will they skip a redhead this year for a more senior vet since Savannah is only going into her 2nd year? It does appear Kelli loves Savannah so I have no clue. Who do you think will get the blonde spot? Hopefully Khalyn is a lock.
(by banner, I mean the one that last year featured Maggie, Robin and Stephanie)
Let's see... I think it should be Lacey, KaShara and Khalyn. Not sure if they're good choices, but I was thinking of diversity.

Group Leaders were announced last night, and you won't believe who they chose this year.
G1: Lacey and Tasha
G2: KaShara and Khalyn
G3: Amy and Tess
G4: Maddie and Kelli
Apologies to who ever shared the news first! I just tried to edit this and leave a comment about this year's First and Second Leaders, but I can't for some weird reason.

Just saw this video as I scrolled through Twitter. The ladies chosen for it were Jenna, KaShara, Stephanie, Maddie and Cersten.

My bad! She's been off my radar since retiring, so I must have forgot.

This is off topic but since Judy was brought up I would just like to say that I cant wait until Judy (and Kelli) retire. I wonder who they will be replaced by.
I don't know how hands on a former cheerleader has to be in order to be qualified, but I could see Sarah Gourley, Michelle Keys or Jennifer Kathryne taking Judy's place as the choreographer when she retires.

Is the little hip dip Madeline does at :22 the vet move this year? They all go wild when Madeline, Khalyn, etc. does it.
Yep!

The vets seem to be making the "vet move" a tradition now. This year, it looks like it came from a routine that Michelle Keys taught them.

Assuming that Cersten is retiring and all of the rookies are returning, we're just waiting on Jinelle, Lacey, Bess, Simone, Chantel, Stephanie, Yuko, Tasha, & Madeline. Hopefully we'll get more answers during the DCC podcast this week. My guess for group leaders would be Kashara, Jinelle, Lacey, & Amy, and the second leaders would be Bess and Heather. Stephanie, Simone, or Chantel would probably be the other two. My prediction for the triangle would be Kashara, Lacey, and Amy. Heather, Jinelle, and Stephanie would probably be right behind. Or maybe Madeline or Kelli.

Two or three girls exited the stage just prior to the kick line at the performance. I wonder if it was a spacing issue or an injury issue.
Spacing. The stage wasn't big enough for all of them to be in the kick line.

Has anyone been following Calia's Instagram, shes been killing it at Kitty Carters Dance Factory...is there any possibility she tries out again for DCC? This is the MTT storyline I'm dying to see....a former DCC that got cut returning to make the squad. Hope shes does.
I have for a while ever since she got cut, When Caila took classes with the Mavs Dancers, I thought she'd be auditioning for them, but never did. I do think it'd be great if she came back to reclaim her spot as a third year vet!

They’ve never demoted a point (Jenna doesn’t count she never did a game), and they won’t unless the current point does something to get it taken away. Other people stepping up won’t effect it, KaShara will be point now for the next season
Actually, Jenna was the point for one game during the 2016 season. She posted a clip of that on her Instagram.

Anyone here see Jenna pulling a Sydney and auditioning for the Mavs in summer? I could.
Maybe, or auditioning for a seventh season in hopes to redeem herself for what happened this past summer. I know it's a stretch, but I don't want Jenna to leave the squad on bad terms.

Finals, Training Camp and Social Media
in S13
An alumni cheerleader's son just posted a video of the 2018 squad's first pregame performance. I was very excited to see it, and even though it's become a thing, I wish they'd get rid of the game day footage.
I already figured out where Brennan is placed in the formations, but Erin and Madeline M are a mystery. It's to be expected when there's a large group of blondes and brunettes.
Moving on... I know it's already been discussed, but what does everyone think of where the some of vets have been placed in the formations this year?
