Where’s Cassie?  ? know she was in triangle at some point

    2008: Sixth Row, Far Left.

2009: Fourth Row, Second to Far Left.

2010-2012: Third Row, Center (Making her the second point behind Crystal and Whitney).

I’m talking about how many 2nd years were in Maddie’s/Lacey’s part of the triangle. I don’t think any have been. So of the third year brunettes Maddie was the best choice.

Oh okay, but there have been second year cheerleaders in those positions.

Evan Anderson and Ashley Torres were both there in their second year.  Crystal was point.

Yes. Evan Anderson and Ashton Torres were given those positions during their second year.

    2008: Justine/Nicole H./Makenzie S.

    2009: Sarah/Nicole H./Crystal (2YR)

    2010: Evan (2YR)/Crystal/Ashton (2YR)

    2011: Brittany E./Whitney/Ashton

    2012: Mia/Whitney/Jackie

    2013: Emma/Mia/Jackie

    2014: Emma/Holly H./Jacie (?)

    2015: Jennifer A./Holly H./Jacie

    2016: Jenna J./Jennifer A./Melissa W.

    2017: Lacey/KaShara/Jenna J.

    2018: Lacey/KaShara/Maddie

Eight years have passed since they had second year cheerleaders placed next to the one that's been chosen as point.

Well considering how picky they are about hair colors they probably didn’t want a blonde in the triangle besides Kashara. And Savannah the only red head isn’t strong enough to be in the trinagle and so it would fall to a brunette. And of all the brunettes I think Khalyn or Tess would be good because I don’t think a 2nd year has ever been in the triangle. But Khalyn is injured and Tess is center for the kickline so she can’t be upfront so Maddie does seem like the only viable choice

If you're going by the first four rows of the triangle, there's Crystal Trevino, Evan Anderson, Sasha Agent, Mackenzie Weeks and Jacie Scott, to name a few.

  4. Briana was able to spend some time with her fellow TTC Alumni last night. Jocelyn (2018 PBC Rep for the Titans) was celebrating her birthday and Mariel is there for a racing event.

Mariel even congratulated Briana on making the squad in her post on IG.

This made me wonder if they'll be going to the game tomorrow to see her cheer. I hope so!

  5. Thought I'd share this video that Loren (cheered 2014-16) posted of the 2016 squad performing the Halloween Halftime Routine. This is the second year that they have not done it.

    Happy Belated Halloween! ??

Is Shannon in charge of the DCC website as well as the social media???? Ha! We all know what a fan he is of the DCC.

I don't know, but they need to step up and quit slacking when it comes to the squad's media footage (cheerleader intros, pregame/halftime performances, game day girl, etc.). We haven't gotten any of that in years.

I was referring to the race life circles. It changes them. Honestly, if you saw what they face as far as the environment you'd get it. Each on their own act completely different than when in a group. They have good reason to be guarded. I am not a personal friend, my contact was professional only. I am just glad Briana is with a group that knows how to weather the storms together. I no longer handle projects for that race group.

You know that has me wondering. Have any of the DCC gone on to marry players? I imagine the answers belong in Former DCC, Since I am still new, can someone let me know where to find that? Curious...

Oh okay. I misunderstood what you were saying so I apologize.

Paige Elaine (cheered 2013-15) is married Cowboys player, Jeff Heath, and they're expecting their first child.

@CowboysFanatic , I live in Charlotte NC and have met some of these ladies.  Not friendly, not approachable and weirdly suspicious of anyone remotely good looking near them. Briana seems thankful, completely different and a sincere person. I spent time on the Earnheart ranch and the husbands are a complete night and day to the wives and "extras" hanging around.  Dale loved buzzing around his ranch with beers and ATVs, the MRS and crew have completely different lives. Thank goodness Briana has found a sisterhood who are loyal to eachother.

Well, I only know of Mariel through following a close friend of hers' on social media. I didn't think to start following her until after she retired as a cheerleader, but she doesn't seem like the kind of person that you described. I'd ask Briana what it was like to have her and Whitney as team mates and friends, but I think I'd come across as nosy.

I had posted at the start of TC that I hoped Briana would make it (yippee, so proud!) but she needed to dance with more power, performance & personality than she did in her years with the Titans where noticeably she rarely smiled & lacked power (we don't have a great squad here in Nashville anyway).  So glad Shelly said Briana is one of her faves. Briana obviously is humble & sweet. I think she just has a low key, laid back personality by nature, as most times she was sitting in the back in scenes in the studio. I will be at AT&T for the Nov 5 MNF game with the Titans, have great seats, & am looking forward to see how the squad pops, especially Briana!  So excited!

Last night, I did a little research and discovered that Briana cheered for the Titans from 2014-17. At first, I thought she started in 2013 because that's the year I went to two home games.

Other than that, I discovered that two of her former team mates are now part of the new reality show that'll be airing on CMT. It's called Racing Wives.

Their names are Whitney Ward-Dillion and Mariel Lane. Both cheered as TTC from 2012-2016 and became Monster Models afterwards.  As you all know from the preview, Whitney retired as an MM after she married Racer Austin Dillon.

Do they have to show FOOTBALL while the DCC are dancing??

    Let's show a little respect!

If you're talking about the game day clips while the squad performs "Thunderstruck," then I totally get what you're saying.

I'm just going to say it ... I want Khalyn as point. Next year needs a strong black female role model.

I could see that happening, There hasn't been one since Nicole Hamilton and Mia Greenhouse.

Think they will redo the DCC intro for the games next season - once Lacey retires, there will be no current DCC in the video.

Maybe, but not sure. I do know that they made the squad's old intro into their outro before or after Sydney retired.

My typing mistake on TG,  I took the initials from another post from someone who has better eyesight than I have.

    “The obvious: KF-Kelli, JT-Judy, KC-Kitty, NF-Nick & MRS-Melissa.

But, who are AL (yellow), LM (red), KG (dark green) and MM (light blue)”

Those are the initials of the group leaders. Amy Leonall, Lacey Munoz, Kashara Garrett and Madeline "Maddie" Massingill.

This routine looks really bad to me compared to the little we’ve seen in practice. Does anyone agree? They seem to be dancing like they are scared they are going to fall, timid or something? Maybe just me. I think it’s a “mess” as Judy says

I do recall Kelli telling them to not look so intense as they perform hip hop routines. They have to focus on performing like cheerleaders than hip hop dancers.

From the looks of it, some put a little more effort in it than others. Maddie, Lexie and Alexis to name a few.

Thanks for those videos @CowboysFanatic. I love watching DCRB, especially Klarissa.

You're welcome! The DCRB are a really great dance team. Every time I watch a video of their performances, I wish that I had taken up dance growing up, then be able to relocate and audition for them.

Looks like the girls did some kind of hip hop routine for halftime? I have to admit, I'm not a fan of them doing those kinds of routines because they look awkward when they do them. The snippet on the DCC Insta just confirmed that for me. I wish they would leave them to DCRB.

The Back To Football Halftime Show. Last year, it was done to celebrate the return of football, but also to acknowledge the efforts made by those who chipped in to raise money for repairs after Hurricane Harvey hit in Houston, TX.

    2017 Back To Football Halftime

This year's Back To Football Halftime

(P.S. Not that it matters, but I recently discovered that one of the new male dancers on the DCRB was part of a majorette squad that's featured on Lifetime's Bring It. In the beginning, you'll find him in the center of the triangle's fourth row.)

2016 Halftime Show, during what we hoped wouldn't be their last game of the season.

Not sure if it'd be considered hip hop, but the choreography performed by the 2016 squad is the upgraded version of their Funk Routine, courtesy of Denise Dicharry.

Out of curiosity, where was Holly A in the formation before making front and center ?  Do some or many feel that she wasn't deserving of the spot?  Who should've been point besides her?   I'm going to HAVE TO buy the former seasons, I've missed soooooo much!!   I've watched several of the past seasons when I've been fortunate enough to catch them on CMT when they would run other seasons, I've only become obsessed with watching the last 2-3 seasons!

In 2013, Holly A. was positioned where Kelli is right now in formations. As for who should've gotten point besides her for the 2014 and 2015 seasons. I'd say Emma, Jacie, Jenna or Jennifer E.

Yes that was nuts.  And the nutritionist knew nothing. Sometimes, it just takes time to settle into a proper weight for each individual.  I can guess who on the team has done some dangerous weight loss strategies this season, with TPTB  looking  the other way because the girl now fits the mold.

Yeah. I remember Nicole's sister going on social media to say that she didn't approve of that... AT ALL.

I know it's very premature, but I could see another random girl become the point next season.  My money's on Lexie, if she doesn't retire.  I think they love a blonde in the front, and Lexie is very pretty - not particularly a standout dancer, although they put her in Showgroup so that's saying something.  I just dont see Maddie, Gina or Kelli being the standout pretty girl they like to be the face of the squad.  Maddie makes sense as a group leader and I can see her being a 5 year vet, but not point.  Tasha is another possibility.

I would have never guessed Kashara would have been point at the beginning of last season.   What was Kashara's position before they moved her to point?  She wasn't even on showgroup before she got the ultimate promotion.

If you look back at a video from their cheer camp last year, KaShara was to Jenna's left in the triangle formation. They switched places after her situation with Holly.

As for her making Show Group. The judges held auditions some time before the vets went to Canton. I say that because I recall Judy assigning spots in the triangle formation on the same night they decided to use some of that rehearsal time to prepare for the HOF Game.

looks like Madeline M is on the back row of the triangle and also seems that Jinelle is still filling in for Yuko

I see now. Madeline M's the third to last person on the right in the seventh row, and Erin's the second to last person on the right in the sixth row.

I know I need to move on, but I simply can't stand seeing Kashara front & center, it should be Lacey.

You're not the only one, but I want to give KaShara a chance to prove that she deserves to be point again. I want to say that she was very strong while performing Michelle Key's new choreography at the Cowboys' training camp based on that video, but thanks to that tent, it's hard to tell. Maybe her and Lacey will switch throughout the season. I mean, it's been said that the squad's done it before.

And who is the blonde shown dancing around the 3:35 mark in that video?   She has really good power in her dancing - caught my eye.   Is it Kelli?  I really can’t tell who it is and even paused it, etc.

Yep. That's her! Kelli's now where Maggie was positioned for formations last year.

As for anyone else that's moved up to where others were positioned last year.

Of course we know that Maddie, Khalyn and Gina moved up to where Jenna, Robin and Cersten used to be.

Amy has now moved up to where Kelli used to be.

Tasha has now moved up to where Elizabeth used to be(?).

Lexie has now moved up to where Stephanie used to be.

Lauren has now moved up to where Tess used to be(?).
