Amy is so lackluster compared to that whole group of second years - Caroline, Amber, daphne, Hannah, Brianna, Bridget, Jalyn, Ashlee, Rachel, Erin, etc.

Actually, the whole triangle/diamond with Maddie, Tess, Lexie, Amy, is dead boring. Drink some Red Bull go old school and snort some coke 😆😆😆 y’all got no pep in your step.

    Not funny...

    Show group doesn’t have alternates

I've watched the show long enough to know that they've chosen girls to be alternates for SG before. Judy has explained that a couple of times.

I just thought to include that because some of the ladies performing aren't official members.

  3. I don't know if anyone has already shared this, but I found a video of the girls (Show Group and alternates) performing at this year's Christmas Spectacular. Although, the person that recorded it was further away from the stage.

I noticed that Amanda is the point for the triangle formation on the field, with Rachel A. to her right and Jalyn to her left. As for the triangle formation on the stage. When Maddie switches with Amy as point, Bridget's to her right and Caroline's to her left.

If this is the "booty pop" you are referring to, that's Amber on the front right.  Kelcey is on the other side of the field.

Teri Lynn was the only DCRB that I know of that made DCC.

Here's a video of one of Teri's performances with them the year before she became a DCC. She was front and center in this one.

Ok, time for my musings on this week's episode:

I liked Charm's choreography & the way she gave feedback to each girl. She knows how to mix honesty with kindness & you can tell she really wants them all to succeed. One observation is that she is one of the few choreographers who doesn't seem to be trying to kiss up to Kelli & Judy & fall in line with them.

I loved seeing Kashara again. She seems to have let her hair go to a bit of a darker blond which looks great. I would love for her to be the regular "on-call" mentor instead of Melissa R.

I am really feeling bad for Cheryl when she has to go out into the practice room to bring a girl into the office. To have all those eyes on you must be so uncomfortable. In past seasons the other girls would all be waiting in another room while she brought whoever was summoned into the office. Now you can practically hear girls whispering under their breath "don't come up to me!" Also poor Lauren. When she started crying my heart broke for her.

I was so happy for Shaina to get some positive attention from a choreographer & from Marshall. She is so pretty & seems to have a really lovely attitude. You could tell that K&J were really impressed with her as she talked about the visit with the Veterans. She would make sure a great ambassador so I really hope they tell her to try out again and that she decides to. So far I've seen nothing that justifies her being cut. I do wonder if the death of her friends plays a role, like maybe the sadness of losing them takes her head out of the game. I mean grief can impact your sleep, eating habits & immune system to name a few things. I guess we'll just have to see how it plays out.

So far, I'm still seeing no reason for Kat and Meredith to be making the team in any capacity over someone like Julia. Meredith is pretty & has a great attitude, but I didn't see that moment of her fighting for it like the one choreographer said she was. As for Kat, she seems to just be scraping by. Maybe they are good with the whole alternate thing because they are just glad to be part of it, but I think its a a bit dismissive of them & a bit unfair in the sense that they could have gotten a job somewhere else that allows them to do more. Alternate just seems like a very thankless position.

Loved the visit with the Veterans. How they all keep from getting emotional while talking with them is beyond me. I'd be a weeping mess after hearing some of those stories. I could have done without seeing VK front & center during the dance. Dear God please don't let that be a sign of things to come. Also her hip hop outfit was not flattering on her. It made her torso look very rectangular.

Lastly, that preview for next week floored me. I usually like Cheryl Burke, but to see her being so rough on Jalyn shocked me. She's always seems so easygoing on Dancing With the Stars & it just seems odd that K&J would cut Jalyn based on just Cheryl's feedback.

All in all, while Charm elevated the episode a bit, it was still just ok. Looking forward to show group auditions play out.

Kelli would be dumb to do that. Especially since Cheryl mainly specializes in ball room dancing and no other style.

I remember when she learned choreography from them on "I Can Do That." She chose to take them on since she had a former Dallas Cowboy as one of her partners on DWTS.

IMO, Cheryl looked awkward while performing it. The camera doesn't stay focused on them in the second video, but I just felt that she looked awkward. Her and Nicole Scherzinger looked great in the uniform though. This was 4 years ago!

What about Ashton Torres? I can’t remember when she left the squad. And her sister. Alyssa.  You may just be counting the African American ladies who made the squad.

That's exactly what I was doing.

Ashton and Alyssa Torres are Hispanic. Ashton retired after the 2011 season so that she could focus on planning her wedding. Alyssa re-auditioned in 2012, but was cut along with four others that were in her rookie class.

After realizing that Nicole Bulcher is not a person of color, that makes the number 17, but would still be 18 when including Kat from the 2019 Rookie Class. Then, I added Chandi, who is also part of this year's Rookie Class, and that makes it 19.

    Here's my list RE-DONE...

2009 - 6 (3 Veterans, 3 Rookies) - Nicole Hamilton, Ally Traylor, Tia Williams, Jackie Bob, Mia Greenhouse and Vanessa Jenkins.

2010 - 5 (4 Veterans, 1 Rookie) - Ally Traylor, Tia Williams, Jackie Bob, Mia Greenhouse and Sasha Agent.

2011 - 4 (Veterans) - Ally Traylor, Jackie Bob, Mia Greenhouse and Sasha Agent.

2012 - 6 (3 Veterans, 4 Rookies) - Jackie Bob, Mia Greenhouse, Carisa McMillan, Jacie Scott, Jasmine Goode and Jenna Jackson.

2013 - 6 (Veterans) - Jackie Bob, Mia Greenhouse, Carisa McMillan, Jacie Scott, Jasmine Goode and Jenna Jackson.

2014 - 3 (Veterans) - Jacie Scott, Jasmine Goode and Jenna Jackson.

2015 - 3 (2 Veterans, 1 Rookie) - Jacie Scott, Jenna Jackson and Robin Richardson.

2016 - 4 (2 Veterans, 2 Rookies) - Jenna Jackson, Robin Richardson, Cersten Bradley and Khalyn Larke.

2017 - 5 (4 Veterans, 1 Rookie) - Jenna Jackson, Robin Richardson, Cersten Bradley, Khalyn Larke and Keyra Ford.

    2018 - 3 (1 Veteran, 2 Rookies) - Khalyn Larke, Ashlee F. and Briana B.

    2019 - 4 (2 Veterans, 2 Rookie) - Ashlee F., Briana B., Chandi D. and Kat P.

    Added Chandi to the list!

Regarding Nicole Bulcher being a WOC....many WOC appear "white."  If a woman is of mixed-race heritage she may or may not self-identify as a WOC based on the rest of her family, how she was raised, and what life experiences she has had.  I have not seen anything to support the claim that she is a WOC, and the only reason I say this is because I do believe that Kelli would have said something about Nicole's "exotic" ethnicity to add the myth that the DCC is a diverse group.

Lots of white girls have super curly hair just like Nicole.  My mom is one of them, and I've got many friends with the same type of hair as Nicole.

    I'm surprised that Kelli hasn't

WOC also includes Asian women....so Kim Tong & Yuko should be included.

As for HIPAA, anyone can make a doctor appointment for someone else but not be able to reschedule or discuss the appointment without written permission.  What goes on between patient & doctor is a whole other ballgame. For anything to be released to anyone, there has to be written permission from the patient....there is nothing casual about it. If someone from the office told Jinelle that VK didn't show for an appointment that person is in direct violation of HIPAA.

Re Victoria: 36 women and everyone is all sweetness and light? Please. Of course, there's cattiness going on. I don't understand why that's so hard to believe despite what the girls post on social media. Now, some of the stories might be more outlandish than others, but I doubt all the girls get along all the time. DCC is always equated to being in a sorority, and I've yet to encounter a sorority that didn't have problems in the sisterhood.

Yes. Thank you, and I've already added her to the list!

Yeah that diversity spiel was such a crock by Kelli.  Clearly they know the public is criticizing them.  If you're going to have women on the squad who can't dance, you might as well make some of them WOC and coach them up.  That way you're not forced to keep Kat just because she's black (if that's the reason).  Better yet keep some of the gorgeous WOC who can clearly dance like Geena Rojas and hip hop girl.  And God forbid if Ashlee, Briana, Kat or even Chandi has a season ending injury.

    Taylor J was #10

    Savannah was #15

    Lexie was # 16

    Alanna was #76

Since VK is a rookie, I am going to assume that's why she is at the end.

Oh okay. I remember they had to be numbered, but I just assumed that they went by how the girls scored on the leader board. When Kelli said the top seventeen had perfect scores, I was like, "Why isn't Maddie up there with them?"
