  1. This. Seasons 1 and 2 were not perfect but everyone had a part to play in the mission the same way sailors have a role on a ship. Then season 3 happened and now everyone else is just there to remind us how awesome Chandler, and Sasha to a certain extent, is. Slattery and the crew kept it together and kept the mission going for 16 months without Chandler. I think that more than proves to Jeter that the Nathan James crew are not as broken as he thinks they are. Then Chandler shows up, goes to mission briefings even though he is no longer Navy, proceeds to shove his strategy down everyone's throats, and becomes passive-aggressive when Meylan reminds him he's a civilian. If I were Kara Green and Meylan, I'd have been insulted when Chandler said they barely survived the attack from the Greek warship. Sure they had to improvise but they survived didn't they with barely a scratch. (I can't say the same thing about Sasha and her Vulture team that needed to bailed out by the Nathan James more than once and it's only been 5 episodes.)
  2. We finally have some answers as to where the Chandler kids are. No word on who they are staying with but Chandler's girlfriend checks up on them. Oh, and his daughter is now working at the pier which probably means that it won't take long before Giorgio finds out where they are and kidnap them to get back at Chandler. Turns out Sasha's new boyfriend, who is actually a commander with the Royal Navy and with the MI6, is not a mole for the Greeks or Vellek but for the Brits who want to steal the seeds so they can sell it to Vellek to get back at the Americans for not helping them during the "Immune Wars." It'll be interesting where Omar fits in all of this. He obviously is after the seeds but will also probably want revenge for what Giorgio did. Also, Fletcher and his fellow Brit spy are having a not so subtle conversation in the helo bay but Wolf was too busy flirting with the new crew member to notice. Burk is having a hard time dealing with his trauma from the attack that almost cost him his brother. Green, the resident hot-head, is now the voice of reason. It was a nice touch to have Diaz give back the navy coin to Chandler. Unlike Tex's daughter, he is happy to have Chandler back. Sasha has also learned to share her makeup stash with Kara Green and still seems to be in love with Chandler.
  3. This is very possible. Also, there was a scene where the Dr Vellek's other son mentioned something about the results of a research on brain function. Maybe the seeds are somehow part of that experiment. I'm convinced though that his son is a hallucination because of how confused and bewildered Lucia and Giorgio when it the doctor stopped and turned to his other kid.
  4. You can run out of food and basic supplies in the apocalypse but Sasha Cooper will never run out of makeup and hair products.
  5. It didn't take long before Chandler went full command mode. The looks on the team's faces when Chandler asked the British guy who he was and explained his strategy were quite funny. So was Green and Miller's conversation on how they were going to call Chandler now that he's no longer the ship's captain - "Hey, Tom? Mr. Chandler?" Lots of gun battles and shouting over the noise, just like last episode. And the one before that. And the one before. At least this time they managed to squeeze in a scene or two of those left in the ship to remind us that they are still floating around at sea. I was wondering how far the cathedral was in relation to Burk and Wolf who were in the rhib because they got there just around the same time as the rest who were in town. The ending montage was great though but the shot of Chandler entering the helo bay with the sunlight behind him was a bit cheesy.
  6. I was wondering about her hair, too. That scene in the last episode where they were on their way to the chopper, her hair was flying all over. Not really a good thing when trying to keep a low profile. I'm really conflicted about Sasha. I like the actress but the not so much the character. Maybe navy intelligence officer is code for super soldier-sniper-diver-polyglot-diplomat-interrogator-botanist.
  7. The acting in the past 3 episodes have been really bad. It used to be easy to overlook in the past because the storylines are interesting enough to distract you but not anymore I guess. The new girl can fight and shoot guns and flirt but when she says her lines it's just bad. Even Sasha, who I actually kind of like, seem to only have two default facial expressions now: a smirk or a smug half-smile. Is Sasha the team leader now? Everyone is taking orders from her now including Green and Wolf who I thought were the special ops guys. I thought it was funny that she mentions how people in Oran haven't seen a Westerner in a few years then sends the whitest white boy in the team to ask locals if they have seen Mahmoud's grandma.
