I have to admit, I also thought Barry looked pretty good with the Boy George hair.
I thought the eyeliner on him worked nicely. The hair was hilarious!

This epi makes me want to visit Marseille! Never had the city on my list but now it is!

This is the first time in a long time I've been excited by a new show. I can't wait for this, it's looks cool! And I'll always have love for KR for Don't Trust the B and throw in Carrie Anne Moss! They got me.

"I'm sorry, but I don't speak little bitch" is everything.

The Following, Girls and Scandal fall under this definition for me. Also, I'm a completionist when it comes to TV series (Ally McBeal anyone?) but I'm starting to grow outta that! I completely gave up on Ray Donovan, Grey's Anatomy and Gotham.

But seriously, best comedy writing since 'A Fish Called Wanda'. He somehow forced her to say that. But I don't know how. And it makes me sad.
I'm sorry but that's fucking bullshit! This crap (as entertaining as it is) is not even in the same room as A Fish Called Wanda. You've got to be kidding.

Internationally known chef Paul Prudhomme died today at the age of 75. I always remembered him and his shows when they were on PBS down here. I'm not sure if they were shown nationally on PBS channels or not. He always came across like he was a sweet man.
That's how I first knew of him through his PBS shows (WTTW Chicago). RIP Paul.

In honor of the late, great director Wes Craven, who made, among other things, the Nightmare On Elm Street and Scream movies, one of the scariest scenes of all time was the phone scene in the first original NOES, where Freddy Krueger told Karen, "I'm your boyfriend now" and stuck his tongue out of the phone, just before he kills Karen's boyfriend Glenn.
That's the perfect Wes Craven shout-out for this thread. Even Johnny Depp's bloody death wasn't as disturbing as Freddie's tongue! Shudders......

I have favorites from each decade:
......While You Were Sleeping.......
One of my favorites! I always watch it when it's on.

I just want to send a shout out to my PBS station for showing Mystery Science Theatre 3000 on Saturday nights. I've been recording them and I forgot how much I loved this crazy show!

...in prison!
Rachel's sincere admiration of Jon reaffirms my belief that she and I should be BFFs. I live within a few hours driving distance of both NYC and western MA, so I think it could work.
I got my fingers crossed for you Grommet!

Yes, she made me laugh when she was doing her primal scream.
I'm a Lily Rabe fan but my God that was horrible! And the reactions from Wes and Lena were like "Uh, ok? How does that help!"

I rewound to hear Rachel say "Deez Nuts" again. Gold!

I just watched Nymphomaniac l&ll and its full of disturbing moments including a graphic self-abortion scene and extreme close-ups of every sex act imaginable. Real not simulated. I expected it to be about sex, sure, but straight up porn?
I was thinking about watching these but after seeing such negative reviews from those who have, I'm think I'm gonna pass. If I want to watch porn, then I'll watch porn.

Ray Donovan I don't think I'm going to make it thru season 3 at this point. There is not one person that isn't insufferable on that show! The three people I like (Lena, Avi and Terry) have less screen time and not even Jon Voight's Mickey can't keep me focused enough.

Scott Foley's character from Scandal. Don't get the hotness. Don't get the appeal.
He's not Fitz. Which pretty much makes him perfect!

I've known about Amy Schumer for many years, ever since she was on Last Comic Standing. Even before her show she has been on the stand up circuit for a long time. I like her, I think she is hilarious.
She has exploded this summer because her movie, TV show and the magazine shoot all coincided.
I agree DrSpaceman, I got the chance to see her live back in March and I've never missed her show on Comedy Central, she's fantastic, but I enjoy her style of humor.

Mean Girls vs. Clueless vs. Heathers--do I have to choose? I love all three. They're all so funny and quotable. The first time I saw Mean Girls, Damian's line "And I want my pink shirt back!" had me in stiches. That's still one of my favorite scenes from the movie.
Agreed. I think they all have an important place in the pantheon.
I'm with this 100% Each one is so different from the others to me that I wouldn't compare them at all. Fantastic films!

'As if!' The 20 best lines from 'Clueless'
They picked some good ones, but missed one of my favorites: Cher commenting on why she's still a virgin: "Come on you guys, you know how picky I am about my shoes and they only go on my feet!"
It's been fun reliving Clueless this week, but what I'm really looking forward to is October 21, 2015 :)
"Would you call me shallow?"
"No, not to your face."
"She's saving herself for Luke Perry!"
"Honey, I couldn't be more proud if they were based on real grades."
"What's the matter with you kid? Did Sammy Davis Jr's death leave a hole in the Rat Pack?"
"If anything happens to my daughter, I have a .45 and a shovel, I doubt you'd be missed."
"Um, I have a note from my Doctor saying that I can't have balls flying at my face."
"Well, there goes your social life."
I love, love love this movie and I've been quoting it for years! (As you can see)

What I wanted to see was Molly losing control. Public drunk and disorderly; burning up half the house and chasing that knucklehead around with a shovel! I would have watched the hell outta that!
