  1. Ok, on Twitter there is a Rate My Skype Room poster who critiques folks that are now trapped in their homes and highlights their positive and negatives on the backgrounds of their rooms.  One of the most constant are Heileman and Steve Schmidt and their never ending snarking about flowers/fruit and clearly after seeing Heileman just now he has totally brought out the big guns.  Good grief, what is going on on that counter behind him, it's like he bought out the entire market?  I can't wait to see the counter attack (pardon the pun).  Oh goodness I so appreciated the laugh (and they both have lovely homes)!  😄

  2. So after Diamond and Silk (aka the Scarboroughs) throw fastballs directly at his head every day, the president responds with a nonsensical tweet and then Meeks says "please leave us alone"?  Goodness, I guess we truly do live in a reality tv world these days.

  3. Is it just me or does anyone else want to reach through the screen and do something about Ratner's tie?  Yikes that print could trigger a medical episode.

eta:  Ok, just saw Joe's choice of neckwear/bib . . . good grief you need a yardstick to measure that thing.  Please tell me wide ties are not coming back . . . 😞

I saw the interview between Anand & Joy Reid. I wonder if they will play a clip of it today.

Anand explain voters frustration & complained about Chris Matthews & David Plouffe attacking Bernie.

Exactly Oakville, it was a different panel but it was the same focus of the conversation.  At least some anchors are starting to have productive conversations instead of the usual rinse and repeat.

Joe reminded viewers that he was right that Obama would become popular with African American voters.

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP . . . ok I need to back up a bit.  Joe was right about Obama being popular with AA voters?  WHAT?  Oh, ok.  No wonder he thinks he's qualified to tell folks how to "behave" in an AA church . . . seriously, I am speechless.

I imagine there was a time when her intern/slave would catch hell for not packing her dress heels. Now that Mika is so desperate for attention, she deliberately showed up with those clodhoppers to make some kind of (irrelevant) statement. Ain't woman's lib grand? What a trail blazer that one is.

    Couldn't agree more unfortunately . . . ugh!

I hate to break this to Meeks....but wearing your flats/sneakers to work is not something that she has discovered and can promote.    Most every woman commuter in almost any city does this.   They carry their heels in a tote bag or keep a pair of heels or nice flats in their desk drawer.  How do the other female anchors at the network tolerate her and appear in pictures and seminars helping promote her vanity project.

She has been propped all her life....first, her well-connected family giving her a "name" to land jobs and get into college.  Then her falling into MJ (via her late night "newsreading" - again, due to her name), marrying the boss and getting ALL the perks.  Has she ever really achieved anything on her own?  But I have a grudging admiration (well, not really) for this bleached blonde bobblehead's ability to fool so many people part of the time.  But not us...right?

So true Kemper.  Meeks and her ilk will never have enough.  You can never do enough for them and whatever you do do isn't right anyway.  There is never enough light shining on them.  The entire planet is having a world class event in narcissisms and unfortunately for Meeks she is once again just a bit player on the stage.

But at least she has access to comfy shoes.

It's possible that it occurred in 2010, but I don't recall Joe participating in election night coverage in many years.

Mika & Joe did host an evening Joe tv show on the weekend of the Super Bowl when it was broadcast on NBC, but it didn't work out too well.

Thank you Oakville, I am having a lot of Comcast problems this afternoon and tried to amend my post to reflect it was the David Gregory segment that Rachel chased Joe out of but it wouldn't let me post.  Still a splendid segment all the way around.  So odd that such a classic example of a snowflake is now ensconced in the brutal Florida heat and humidity.  Thank goodness they stole all of those Cap d'Antibes towels the last time they were there.

No, not since Joe had a fight with Rachel on Meet the Press many years ago.

Oakville, didn't they also duke it out during an election night coverage segment and suddenly no more Joe (but a very smirky Brian Williams)?

Apologies in advance if I mixed this up.

Yeah, sure she forgot her heels. Who believes that? Just a way for her to call attention to herself. I couldn't stomach the entire interview but what I saw of her was truly uninspired...making me think her shoes were all she's got. Why do people pay these 2 dolts to just repeat the same crap Joe spouts every morning?

Seriously, this is such a load.  Back in the day, I noticed my watch stopped on the way to work (this was before smart phones) so I swung by Walmart on my way in as a watch was critical to my job.  I would also argue that if I noticed on the way in I had accidently grabbed navy blue shoes and had on a black suit, I would have swung by said Walmart for whatever black pumps I could find as for me you need to look put together to project to your team/peers you are together.  I would have cut off my feet before I would appear as she did on a public stage like that.

Mika said that Shakespeare was long winded and that  his books were filled with  complicated language. Mika said that he needed a better editor.

Ok, this has suddenly gone from incredibly funny to incredibly angry.  I've become immune to Meeks tearing things/people down to make herself feel better but to start attacking the classics?  You know, like the pillars of our society?  What/who does that remind you of?

No. She complains that she almost always knows the ending of a movie, so she finds them boring to watch.

And to think I passed this up to run to Walmart . . . seriously. I am starting to think it's time to call in the Sweet Meteor of Death again . . . sigh.

There is a photo of Mika with Adriene and Susan in the article & the way Mika is sitting on that chair with this air of "look how I get people to kiss my ass" makes me want to punch her.

    Don't conflate success with winning.

Um, Mika?  Don't conflate people doing what you ask because Andy Lack forced them, to their buying into your half wit con.

It's good that they cropped out the ankle shackles in that picture with Meeks.

Joe said that John Kerry could enter the race on the second ballot if Bernie can't get a majority of the delegates.

Joe said that Bernie yells too much on stage.

The motto of today's show is that the Democrats are behaving like the Republican candidates in 2016.

The motto should be, what is left of either party doesn't understand just how much the game has changed and how far the PTB have been left in the dust.  It's a free for all out there and sadly it all comes down to financing.  John Kerry on the second ballot?  What?

And Joe says Bernie yells too much?  I guess projection is Joe's friend today.

Mika and Joe are with Willie and Jeremy Bash.

Joe has verbal diarrhea.  He did four topics in a minute: Nevada caucus, Mick Mulvaney, Trump poll numbers, and the Russians.

The acting director of national intelligence, Maguire, was pushed out. Richard Grennell is the new director of intelligence.  Mika did a breathless news reading about the drama over the removal.  She is insufferable when she gets going with the news reading.

Hans Nichols is kicking it outside the White House. Ken Dilanian says his sources are aghast about the removal of the intelligence director.  Ken isn't sure of all the details.  Ok, Ken. Hans states that Doug Collins of Georgia is under consideration.  He heard it on Air Force One, y'all!

Doug Collins for DNI chief?  Perfection . . . wow.

I love Hans, I wish he could shove Dilanian off the screen (even though they aren't anywhere near each other).  He needs to be granted that Super Power.

Maybe because management is now paying attention to us: We certainly can't count the hosts to provide any relevant insight. Did Mika get squirmy talking about the NDA's?

I didn't actually see the NDA part but I did catch the handoff to Stephanie Ruhle and it was classic Mika.  She was lecturing Bloomberg about coming on shows "other than your friends" and then up pops the even more perkier than usual Stephanie with a big "Thanks Mika!" . . . hee!

Looks like the Scarborough's invitation to the genuinely rich kids party got lost in the mail (or maybe they were sent out when they were basking in the glow of Mar-a-Lago).

Hee just saw the clip on Mediaite.  Speculation is that he did have an interview with Stephanie Ruhle . . . 😊

  19. Wait a minute . . . I just started to pay attention . . . what on earth are these pre-taped messages from first Matthews and then Nicole Wallace about their thoughts?  For some reason I find them . . . odd.  I have zero problem with showing snippets from last night's coverage but special messages just for Morning Joe? . . . yikes.

As for Bloomberg not handling the fastballs being thrown at his head, gee a guy worth 55B dollars isn't used to being roughed up?  Stunning.  He owns a company that deals in data, the opposition research he must have on folks has to be staggering.  Can't wait to see the salvos he unloads in the next week or so.
