Kinda feel bad for Ed. He’s a criminal and a murderer. But he was still forced against his will to kill a whole building full of innocent people. Something I don’t think even he’s capable of.
When I first saw the beginning of the season, I had to wonder why he, of all people, would be taking up arms to defend Gotham, alongside Jim, Bullock and Oswald against this unknown army.
I guess this episode answered that question.

I hope Adora learns more about Eternia and where she came from in the next season.

Problem is only The CW seasons were released on blu ray. The WB ones have yet to be.

After a whole half season of Evil vs Wicked it was nice to see some of the focus put back on Emma and her journey to find home. It was great to see her finally get to be part of the world her family came from.
In the end she knew where she belonged and who she wanted to be with. My favorite finale of the series.

My DVDs are seriously outdated in picture quality. Older episodes look so much better in HD on iTunes now.
Only problem is the pilot is cut down to only 40 minutes.

Going through my first rewatch. I’m really liking the Xindi arc in season 3.
Reminds me of the DS9 days of the Dominion being the ongoing story.

No long goodbyes for Billy. Frank is too vengeful to give him the satisfaction. Or he just wanted to put him out of his misery.
Either way, he finally got closure on his family’s death. He can fully embrace being The Punisher now.

Well, it’s nice to see the doctor didn’t let the abuse dampen her spirits at all. She seemed to just take it all in her stride.
She’s accused of being a witch. But she’s still gonna give the king a good speech. The silly humans just tried to drown her. Never mind. She just pops out of the water next minute “looking for me?” And gets on with the job.
It’s not like she hasn’t been through worse.

Best episode ever. I can’t believe how great that was. Might as well stop the show now, because they’ll never be able to top that. Absolutely amazing.
At least, that’s what I hope I say after I watch it. :)

Watching this the first time, and knowing the comics, I really thought this might have been it for Karen.
I was happy to be wrong though.

It’s not really soapy. In the comics he discovers Maggie is his mother in the same story arc that this season is based on.

Daredevil and Kingpin both fighting Bullseye to protect Vanessa was the last thing I ever expected to see.
But I guess if Matt just stood by and let him kill them he wouldn’t be a hero. And as long as they’re both alive he has a way of controlling Fisk. The same way he controlled so many other people, when he used their families against them. Very fitting.
Also the return of Nelson and Murdock, with the addition of Page at the end. Really great way to wrap things up.
This season has been nothing less than stellar. I hope the show is renewed for another. But if it isn’t, this almost feels like a perfect ending to the series.
