  1. Did anyone else notice that all the gravestones at the cemetery were completely blank? No names or any kind of writing on them at all, just a bunch of polished rocks sticking out of the earth. So I guess not only does the writing staff suck, the prop/set design staff also needs to be fired.
  2. Is anyone else kinda annoyed at how Kim and Drew are constantly bashing Julian, saying he left her because he was selfish and wanted more attention while completing ignoring the fact that the main reason Julian left her was because he caught her kissing Drew?
  3. Olivia Jerome was responsible for the car bomb that killed Morgan, not Sonny. Just so you know. While Sonny is responsible for a laundry list of messed up shit, killing Morgan was not one of them.
  4. Again, I respectfully disagree. I’ve already posted about moral ambiguity which is at the root of anything that has to do with the mob storylines. Context is important. Your point about shooting people in cold blood has merit but again the context is important. In recent memory, the people that Sonny or Jason have killed haven’t exactly been innocent themselves. And killing, based on context, may not always be outright immoral at least in my opinion. Margaux hiding behind the law to get revenge for her fathers death (and let’s be clear on that, she wants revenge not justice) isn’t that different from what a criminal does. Obviously our opinions differ on “who is worse” so let’s not get into that one. And even with all that said, your opinion, my opinion. None of it matters. As other users have pointed out: Sonny will always win regardless of how some fans feel towards the character. The powers that be on the show clearly favor him. So at this point, I’d like to agree to disagree and leave the conversation amicably.
  5. Even if this was her plan, it doesn’t make it any less despicable. Plus considering she berated Peter about keeping the drive from Drew and how it was identity theft and all that, she’s being a complete hypocrite by doing exactly what she threatened to arrest Peter for. I respectfully disagree. What’s worse? A straight-up criminal or a criminal masquerading as an officer of the law? I think most people would agree that corrupt cops/public officials are the worst kind of criminals because they’re in a prime position to manipulate the system to their own agenda, which Margaux has done on several occasions.
  6. True. That’s why I’m hoping they actually make Chase and new Jordan likable and competent officers of the law. God knows Port Charles needs it.
  7. Well that’s kinda the point isn’t it? Not saying it’s executed well but it is a major theme of the show: the moral ambiguities between both sides of the law. The world is not black and white, people labeled as criminals aren’t necessary bad and people who hold office or carry a badge aren’t necessary good. Please understand, by no means am I saying that Sonny/Jason are good people. I’m just saying can we honestly say that Margaux is a good person? Sure she’s a DA and she’s pursuing her father’s killer, that’s a noble cause but the way she goes about it is blatantly unethical and sometimes straight-up illegal. So I think it’s safe to say in this situation, no one is really on the side of the angels.
  8. Ok I’ll concede to the Alzheimer’s thing but it doesn’t excuse the other shady stuff Margaux’s been doing. Let’s not forget she’s still hiding Drew’s memories from him.
  9. In the scene from April, Sonny said these exact words: "and there it was right there where used to be Joe's problem, wrapped in a plastic shower curtain in the trunk" Usually when mobsters wrap people in plastic and refer to them in the past-tense, it means they're dead. It most definitely was a retcon. Besides, it wouldn't have made sense for Sonny to be flipping out so bad these past few months if he really was the killer. In one episode he even commented incredulously at how, "of all the things that could take [Sonny] down, it wouldn't be something [Sonny] did but something Joe Scully did"
  10. No but we can believe that she's an unreasonable, arrogant, and unethical little shit for keeping Drew's memories from him, attempting to take advantage of an old man with Alzheimer's, violating courtroom etiquette during a trial, berating a 15 year old girl on the stand in that same trial, randomly harassing strangers for info on Sonny/Jason, and trying to pursue a case with a very clear conflict of interest.
  11. Actually Sonny didn't kill Marino. At least that's how the original storyline was supposed to be like. Here's the episode where Sonny first tells the Croton story, they start talking about the body at 2:12
  12. These fucking writers man. Of all the fuckups they’ve had these past years, this has got to be the biggest one yet. How are you unable to maintain continuity on a storyline you barely started less than a year ago? Clearly Sonny didn’t kill Marino, only buried him. But now at the end of today’s episode he’s saying he “crossed a line when he killed him” or some shit. My god, I get if you can’t remember a story detail from 20 years ago but this was fucking five months ago. GH seriously needs to fire their entire joke of a writing staff and actually hire professionals.
  13. Found an article on NewsBusters about The Last Ship's season 4 premiere that was literally riddled with false information. It was pretty irritating to read. If anyone wants to check it out: https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/culture/lindsay-kornick/2017/08/21/isis-lookalikes-use-child-bombers-last-ship
  14. Did they ever explain who the hell those guys were that held Nina and Jason hostage and shot Valentin? Also, last I heard the WSB was an international organization, so charging Valentin for treason doesn't really make sense.
  15. Don't know if anyone else noticed... but Valentin's description of Saint Thérèse of Lisieux was totally wrong. She is the patron saint of THE missions, as in religious missionaries. It's completely different from missions in the sense of spies and secret agents and whatnot.
