I wonder when Charles' lawyer is going to connect the dots and realize that Liza is the woman Charles told him about.  That should be interesting if he ends up being a go-between of sorts.  But I have to nitpick about the "advice" he gave Charles about not being able to fire Liza "for her age".  If he fired her, it wouldn't be for her age, it would be for lying about her age.  And that is a very different reason that I don't think would be construed as age discrimination.  That argument wouldn't hold up in court because the issue is she LIED about something important, not because she was older.  It's exceedingly difficult to prove age discrimination anyway and if Charles has a legitimate reason to fire her that is not about her age but about her misrepresenting herself, that's another story altogether.

I have always been a Charles shipper but boy, what a stiff they make his character.  It's getting on my nerves now.

I thought the exact same thing. She lied on her resume and application for the job which is fraud.  But maybe the lawyer's advice about Charles kissing Liza and how inappropriate that was and could lead to another scandal was what gave Charles pause. He could fire her, but she could cause problems for him and his company.

  2. This cracked me up and also attested to how hammered Tommy Boy was.  This conversation took place on the veranda between Danni and Tommy Boy after the Ass Attack (paraphrased):

Danni: Thomas - do you think Assley thinks I'm really an enabler?"

    TR: "What neighborhood?"

    Stay classy!!!

  3. My ex and I managed an apartment complex.  I took care of the administrative end and he did maintenance.  We kept regular hours just like any job and could not up and leave whenever we wanted. We had an assistant manager that worked the weekends.

  4. Didn't Capt. Sandy admit last season to being gay? If she and the Vage doctor aren't already getting it on, Captain sure as hell acts like she would love to. Maybe that's why Sandy is so eat up with the Dr. (pun totally intended)!

  5. I just recently started watching this show on TV Land, and thing I cannot stand is how they never lock their doors and Ray's family is constantly barging through them. Especially irritating was the episode where Ray and Debra lied and said they were going away so they could get some alone time. Of course the Barones came bursting in the door to drop something off and caught them. Sure the Barones probably have a key, but using it could have given them enough time to run upstairs.

Yep, and then you see the reverse in dramas - they concoct some weird plot line (usually a get knocked on the head/dream sequence) where everyone acts out of character, hijinks ensue, etc., just to let the dramatic actors show that they can do comedy or sing or whatever.  It's just as out of place, and just as much a waste of an episode.

This is not the exact same thing, but I hated the Grey's Anatomy episode that was turned into a musical.  Same premise though - actors who can sing who want to be Broadway stars show casing their vocal abilities.  I hated it!! UGH

ETA: In2You beat me to it. High five for the mutual hatred of egotistical actors who ruin good episodes.

  7. I have seen this happen time after time with actors in a comedy.  They insist on showing their "dramatic acting" chops and they expect us to applaud them. Naw. We tune in to a comedy sitcom to be entertained. Period. Go back to being funny. Please and thank you.

Every time I see the episode title, I hear "he's c-cold as ice" in my head followed by the dance break:

Showing my age I guess but Foreigner's Cold as Ice comes to my mind.

  9. OK you all, let's all bust out our tiny violins of sorrow and play in unison for Jailnail. Barb nailed it when she said Jailnail always takes up for any man she is currently involved with, kids be damned.

Also? Brianna is such a shit stirrer. She is working "Hard for the Money!"  I think people who stir the pot should be forced to lick the spoon. Puta!

  10. The thing that annoys me the most is Phil getting in someone's face and proclaiming they are a "right fighter". Yeah, so????  How you going to argue with truth unless you're an annoying Snowflake. Right is right and wrong is wrong. I fail to see the problem with having facts backing you up, but he acts like it's something to be ridiculed. I'm so waiting for someone to point that out, but it will probably be edited out.

Jahil didn't kill Hunter & Eva.

Maggie sent her henchman, Leonard, to off Jahil, but he mistakenly killed Hunter & Eva (who were asleep together after having sex in Jahil's bed) believing it was Jahil.

Wait. Didn't that turn out to be Carlotta who did the shooting?

"If he's going to yell at Ken and I" -- Oh, Lisa.

People, PLEASE learn to break the sentence structure down so it makes sense! "If he is going to yell at Ken" - that's ok. But "if he is going to yell at I"??? Um NO.  Use I only if it is followed by action.  Ken and I went shopping. Ken and I bathed in our millions to alleviate our boredom". You get it.

That fucking guy. He always twists things so he's the fucking victim.

I've dealt with and left in tears "men" like him.  A sociopath to the nth degree. I'm a Kentucky girl and would love to have an hour with Brit and inform her how Kentucky girls deal with jackasses like Jackson. Don't shame us girl!
