I see them as a young couple with three special needs kids

It looks like the show is winding to an end.  I enjoyed the beginning and learned something about dwarfism through it, missed a lot of the middle, and now get to wish them all well at the end.

    I agree with you.

She does make odd parentling choices, like putting a toddler on a kitchen island, driving her daughter into a tree in a toy car, and favoring J.

This is what peaked my "mom radar" why is she plopped on a kitchen counter like that? They do favor J.

I think what really makes this stick out is that they seem to mainly only do this with one child, Lilah.

And this extends into how they seek/handle medical help.  They aren't people who run to a specialist at every opportunity.

I am not one to run to a specialist for every little thing either, but if my daughter can only speak in one word sentences at the age of 4? I am going to taker her to a specialist.

  3. Here is what I would like to see, and actually I don't think it's asking too much of the parents of these kids:

    1. Get Lylah speech help! How can you not see the vast difference in your first born and second?

    2. Stop laughing at her when she falls or is clumsy. You would be rushing to Jackson with a first aid kit if were him.

    3. Don't forget about that 3rd kid you had to have!

    4. Fix Jackson's legs, the first surgery did nothing. Oh, and stop favoring him.

In other words, they're not going to TELL him.  That's not "making a big deal" of it, Zach; that's TELLING him, and he deserves to be told and not have to find out from his ridiculing peers.

I feel like Lylah's feelings will be an after thought in this process. They will tell her, because they don't care. But God-forbid their precious little Jackson, who owns every room he walks into, be aware of his stature. Meanwhile, Lylah is barely verbal at the age of 4.

This time around, I'm loving Nellie, especially in season 9. Her insecurities, her friendship with Pam, her "relationship" with Toby... all great!

"Were you expecting a man? With a giant whopping penis?" This line kills.

Way to go Megami, she may not have won the money, but it was her night.

This was the first time I was impressed by Megami. I'm like, "There she is!" She had some fun humor, moves, and I thought she made some smart decisions.

Seriously though, it worked for me.  I especially liked Jerry meta-ing the fact that a lot of people were predicting (and hating the idea of) Curb ending like Seinfeld did:  "You don't want to end up like this. Nobody wants to see it. Trust me."

It worked for me too, I actually loved the twist on the Seinfeld ending (where Larry goes free).

Right??? That beautiful dog is ignored for the most part. Zach borders on animal abuse when he interacts with him and Tori just outright ignores him and she was the one that threatened to withhold sex from Zach unless he agreed to get another Bernese Mountain dog.

Let's get a dog and then ignore him! Let's have two more kids and ignore them! The ZIT logic will never make sense.

I can't believe Amy, who has experience being an LP herself as well as the parent of one AND presumably has access to Jackson is okay with allowing the poor kid to live in ignorance and suffer the comments of peers that he doesn't understand

I wonder what ZIT tell their children about what TELEVISION show they're on. I mean do they even know that the show is called, "Little People Big World"??? They probably tell Jackson it's called "Jackson Owns the World"!

So Zach let it slip that they're going to the dwarf games, and Jackson had to ask what a dwarf was, saying, "I'm not a dwarf!"  So he has NEVER been told, and ZiT was annoyed that he had to tell him even then, at six years of age right before they go to a dwarf convention.

Yet he still maintains that "it will be moments like that; not a conversation."  Okay.

My jaw was on the floor. Tell him. He needs a conversation, it's not okay you knuckle heads.

First, I don’t care about ZIT’s junkyard, but when she toppled over in her little camping chair and they just laughed at her it broke my heart 😔. They didn’t even see if she was ok first. They are two nasty people 😡

Yeah, actually it's not funny when your daughter is toppling over due to no fault of her own, but due her dwarfism. One would think that Zach would understand and  comfort her, but no, we just laugh. It's (borderline?) child abuse, mentally at least.

Why are they always so mean when talking about Lilah? Who calls a little 3-4 year old learning to dance clueless and clunky? If that were Jackson they call him MAGNIFICENT and say he OWNED the dance studio.

The favoritism is glaring. Jackson can do no wrong, and Lilah is treated like a sack of flour with a bow on her head.

Neither of them have shown the necessary skills or abilities to effectively parent any of their children.

This. This is the problem. They don't actually think any of their children are special needs. The fact that Lylah can't speak at ALL, should be a red flag, but to these "knuckle heads" it's nothing. They are in total denial. Sure, Zach is fine now, but he had a lot of surgeries to get there (and continues to).

Yes, you did; it almost went over.  Zach was "driving" remotely.  I was gob smacked, but shouldn't have been...

You also heard Zach say, "I was driving a (motorized) car at four; Josiah is only one. WHO IS COOLER???"

Then Tori laughing at Lilah as she barreled down the bumpy dirt path wearing sunglasses, and how is her vision considering that her eyes are crossed (I don't see any corrective glasses or patches being utilized)?

And Jackson flying over the bridge without railings in his with Zit proudly bragging about his recklessness and how he's braver than Zach was.

This goes beyond stupidity.  I think they both need psychological help.

It will all be fun and games, and then if (*when) there is a serious injury, we will have the special: "Zach and Tori: after the accident." It's the trebuchet incident all over again, just with dwarf children.

Zach seems to think it's "cool" to put his three (!) children in danger, and it's actually really stupid. Tori just laughs and laughs.

I am a child of the 70s who as a kid was handed 10 inch lawn darts to throw around and slept in the back window of dad's giant Pontiac on road trips and even I was like WTF?! Where is Jackson's helmet at least and why are you laughing at your equally helmetless daughter who's um A BABY driving around the backyard like she's in need of a sobriety test?!

That whole scene was ridiculous. It's all fun and games until Lylah plunges into the river and gets ripped downstream.

Also, would it kill ZIT to get her help with her speech? It is not improving.

I agree, Tammy's emotion seemed very genuine. I am really impressed by how far she has come, not just with her weight loss but also with her ability to express otherwise uncomfortable feelings. In the past she would shut down and now she is willing to talk about what affects her.

I was oddly impressed with Tammy this season.

That Siri bit got me.  So obvious yet comically effective, at least to me.

Me too, I was laughing out loud, and I know it was a bit contrived, but it worked for me.

Optician here; the glasses scenario is not very believable. The fact that Auntie Rae and Larry would most likely both be in progressive lenses, is essentially, the problem. Same Rx and measurements? Unlikely. Are we supposed to believe that both of them wear readers?

I did not like the Brooke/Brookie bit.

Melissa’s nose was awful, like really really bad. Louie from Lakeland gets the Oscar for saying she looked good with a straight face.

For real though, the nose, was.... not good.

Chance is such a douche and I can't stand his face. Tayler is a little speschul, but God, the poor thing, he's a monster.

  19. I feel for Amy, but at the same time don't melt down at every little melt down your child has, especially when your entire family is there to assist.

I think this goes way back to her mother not having any kind of compassion for her children. God knows what went on there.

Amanda is the hero of the season, that's all.

Oh. My. Gosh. I was ITCHING all week to get on here and see if anyone else had anything to say about the lack of lifejackets. I was horrified.

It's not like they had a great grip on them either! I know it's a pontoon boat ride, but put a life vest on the littles, hello!!!
