I really liked this episode.  People talked to each other, information was passed along, communication was happening!  I thought all the dynamics were great.

Hooray for Amelia's Professor Surgeon for being no nonsense and not letting her get away with minimizing what this tumor means.

Yes she was acting just because it was "Benign", let me tell you my DD has several "Benign" tumors and we live in a world where we know lots of kids with "benign" brain tumors and they all have issues--some more then others but the brain is valuable real-estate and something that big would cause Major issues in real life

I recorded this but wonder if I'm going to end up watching this episode. I had breast cancer earlier this year and went through surgery, then a couple months of radiation and now am taking a 10 year regime of a chemotherapy drug to prevent recurrence. It was very scary and exhausting. I can't imagine going through it with that many people around all the time.

If anyone is looking for another Monday night alternative, the Good Doctor is on at the same time as the Putmans. I do wonder how Meet the Putmans is doing in the ratings.

As a breast cancer patient I too found it offensive they tried to turn it into "entertainment"

  4. I also wonder if some of their "delays" in behavior is the fact that they spent a significant amount of early development in an orphanage, yes they have been here for a while but could they have some "issues" because of it. It is easy to judge parenting from the other side of the camera if they were too strict people would be saying we should call CPS on them, I know if people just saw snipets of our day we would look like terrible parents sometimes, I remember being in the gift shop at the zoo and my DD had a melt down  about not getting something, some lady said to her DD loudly, (heard as I was walking out with her) "I'm so glad you aren't a brat like that" What this lady didn't know is before coming to the zoo we had just had a very difficult doctor appointment and DD was facing another surgery after having a bunch that year,
That said I love Zoey and am amazed how far she has come since the last time

  5. I thought the dad kissing his grown daughter on the lips as she was about to go give birth was weird. And tell me what do the others do, I wouldn't be thrilled if I was a Dr and had to share my checks with the family..dont get it at all...But like a train wreck, I cant look away...

  6. Watching that Barbara Walters interview, she looked like a fairly sweet girl then, now I find her   bratty, I think she is very disrespectful to her Grandfather/anyone who doesn't think just like she does.  if she really wants to educate she needs to listen to what others are thinking, because acting the way she does isn't going to keep people listening.
And I agree she has it "Easy" because walking down the street one would never guess she was Trans where Noelle is more obviously Trans. I feel much more sympathy for Noelle...they should Dump Jazz and go with Noelle to educate people

  7. My heart broke for Aly and Josh but I wonder if they don't end up adopting because they showed pictures of them with the baby, I would think if they didn't they wouldn't be able to do that...

  8. Tell me why she parked in a handicapped spot at the paint store? Yes she drives a big bus of a van but there is no reason for you to take up a spot for a person that could legitimately use it and not sure why she would have a handicapped permit (coming from someone who has a permit for her DD who legitimately needs it and would NEVER consider using it when she wasn't with us)

I hope that I don't sound insensitive or out of the loop on this, but, I just can't understand why Jazz and some others on her show seem to think that any intelligent person would have no concern with a perspective mate not having female anatomy.  If you want to mate, it's important.  I wonder if they have any discussion of moderation in their judgments and how people aren't just crazy for not dating transgender individuals.

I have thought same thing. I don't know many high school boys who are not part of the LGTB world not having an issue dating a trans girl. I also don't mean any disrespect by the comment but I was thinking same thing  the other night watching it.

Adam is an ingrate.  He should be grateful that all their girls are healthy, for the most part.  Parents of terminally ill children would give their right arm to hear that the only thing their child needs is a pair of glasses!

This!!! I have 2 kids with major health issues...would love their "problems"!

  11. I find myself getting annoyed at Adam and thinking how he would deal with it if they had any major issues, I mean they were pretty early, they are lucky the girls are as "Normal" as they are..seems like one of the other quint shows 2 or more of them had CP, I understand he feels a lot of stress but it could be SO much worse then Hazel needing glasses...
