I agree - why do teens think their lives will go on "as usual" when a 30 year old woman knows how much life will change?  Oh yes.....that whole frontal cortex thing.

James:  "we started foolin' around....never really thought we would get pregnant....I dunno."  Yikes.

Sheyden.  Yikes.  Lady, you were pregnant at 16 and it never occurred to you to Depo Shot your daughter?  I had my first child at 32 and she is a gramma?

That is what I thought too.

I woder who will the be the first boy to bail and get another girlfriend?  "But I thought you loved me!"    Let the snark begin!!

James is gone in a heart beat (he is the African American boy correct? if not that is who I think will be gone, he shows no interest in the baby at all.

I've been meaning to bring this up -  has any channel ever reran an hour-long show with so many commercials that it takes an hour and 15 minutes? SO STRANGE.

Amen!!! I agree with this they are making me not want to watch the show!

  3. I cant imagine that they wouldn't qualify for WIC with the babies being as premature as they were, unless that wouldn't pay for the formula.

So far I like the couple and their two year old.I only got as far in the episode to see 2 of the  babies come home. What surprised me was the actually showed on national tv how the keep their "budget cash $$" in envelopes. They have a fear of banks?

That is a common way for people to control how much they spent on certain things, I know people who do it and it really helps to budget.

  4. She is quite the little bratty child isn't she?? Um Im sure people would be willing to put up his friends and family, and you have no interested in anything he wants. David comes across as a descent guy. This marriage wont last unless she grows up...yes she is only 18 probably to young to be marrying but grow up sweetie!

I thought it was inappropriate for Luis to aggressively tell the little girl that he is her new dad.

And you have been there for 6 days you expect her to respect you, Dude respect is earned.

  6. So much to snark about in this episode...

1- No way was Joy only 3 1/2 months pregnant unless there are multiple babies in there.
2- Kendra's laugh is REALLY annoying

3- All the excitement over their first kiss...No way are they ready for the wedding night.
4-Could her dad really not memorize his "Speech"? I found pulling out his phone tacky....

Except that the reality is the other moms will absorb more of the childcare for her little ones while she recovers.  Although it seems to be standard operational procedure for the moms to take care of a mess of kids, it will be weeks after the surgery before she will be able to do the most minimal work.

If not months....I know...but I didn't have other moms to take over for me, I had to do it eventually, luckily my DH helped a lot which I cant see hers doing.

  8. I can see saying I am having this surgery so I will need tough, It is a ROUGH recovery...but NO one should have to give her permission.

As I have said before I really tried to like this family the women all seem to help each other and like each other, I found last night deeply disturbing. Jamie looked PISSED in the TH I hope he gets her away and she gains some confidence. The only reason I could see the others being upset being at all understandable and I don't think it is but the family was planning on their $$ towards the house, will their part not being there make a difference? Will they actually come back???

  9. Say what you will about her behavior at times but I LOVE Zoe...she is too funny...her whole "I'm the little Boss"! Her vocabulary has grown SO much...

I do believe that a lot of Will's behavior comes from the early days in the orphanage I know some of my family members who were adopted from over seas orphanage, I know my "typical" cousin from Korea was very similar, and still struggles with impulsiveness today.
