Hazmat Clean-up, Drug Use and the Police?!

Defendant and his mother claim all the needles and drug paraphernalia were planted in his pigsty of a bedroom.  JJ didn't believe them.

Miss (I forget her name), if you are going to go ballistic and freak every time a boyfriend looks at porn or as she called it, "Naked women" online, you will be alone forever.

I know, right?  The horrific memory still brings tears to her eyes, like she caught him in bed boning her best friend.

One of them had teeth. One was semi-toothed and the other was completely toothless but had earrings. I kept skipping ahead while averting my eyes and then find out that "D", alias "Boney", (the completely toothless one who I thought was the Ugliest Sister) def is not one of the Hag Sisters, but a brother. I think? Did I get that right? Can someone clarify? I simply could not deal with any of this.

I think the defendant in earbuds (David or now "Dee") used to be the brother of semi-toothless, but had a late-in-life change of pronouns.  What the actual case was about, I'm not sure.

  4. It seems like they wasted time in other episodes, then had to rush this finale, but it was enjoyable.  Looking forward to next season.

Chartres was under a 50 mile restraining order from Louis, so not sure why he was back in Versailles at the end.  I think this romantic triangle or quadrangle with him and MA is invented by the writers, but Fersen and MA were definitely having an affair and there's a lot of letters written in code between them.  I don't think Louie knew it yet, or had anything to do with him going to America.

I was glad to see Louie and MA go from perfunctory to passionate sex. lol

Ben Franklin was already 70 and grey about this time, he looks pretty good here.

...that creepy moment when you're watching a true crime show (tonight's "Evil Lives Here: Shadows of Death", to be exact) and it's focusing on a case that happened literally right on the outskirts of your town... They showed a mugshot from my town's police department and everything.

Seriously, I would've been nine when this case happened and I have never once heard anything about this until now. Wow, this is freaking me out.

Is that the one with 4 or 5 people killed, including two children?  I only saw the last part of it.  Very disturbing.

While he was snooping through the palace he found some hidden photos that were obviously raunchy/sexual but PBS blurred them out. I have no idea what they were of, or who had them hidden away. He muttered someone's name but I didn't catch it or recognize it.

I hate it when they blur stuff!  He said something about this guy Chartres

I found that Beaumarchais is the spy's name and had to look him up on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre_Beaumarchais.  Holy crap this guy was a multi-tasker.  Not only a spy but was covertly running arms to Washington even before the French entered the War, then became a famous playwright, writing The Marriage of Figaro and The Barber of Seville.  Interesting man.

  7. Very Scary People had a good double episode last night, about the Trailside Killer in the Bay Area back in the '80's.  We've had so many serial killers I almost forgot about him.  His first murder was punished by 5 years in a mental health facility, so he went to kill at least 10 other women.  Easily-fooled doctors, shoddy police work, and naïve parole officers didn't help.

  8. New episode of Accident, Suicide or Murder? on Oxygen tonight.   Last week was good, about two deaf friends who went on a roadtrip and one murdered the other.

Awhile back they showed one where a female was murdered (at first glance) in her apartment.  She was stabbed in the neck, and family claims she would never commit suicide.  However, the only entrance, her front door, was locked and latched with one of these.

    DOORLATCH.jpg.0e7d839da3d8a4774e2c2e6c6489bcc3.jpg

She lived several floors up and had balcony, but it had snowed and there were no footprints or disturbances in the snow.  One guy claimed that it had to be murder, that the latch could easily be set from the outside upon leaving.  I don't think so, and he never demonstrated how.  They also said no one would stab themselves in the neck like she did.  I think they might, if they didn't want their family to think they killed themselves.  It was really a mystery.  I like the show.

  9. Looks like Axel Fersen was at the masked ball last week, but won't appear again until the season finale #8.  Apparently the actor is actually Dutch, not Swedish (who all dance well. lol).  Here he is in "Holland's Hoop",  sometimes called a 'Dutch Breaking Bad' about a marijuana grow.
